This is my first ever time at a wienerstezel and as an experience I would rate it pretty dang alright. The service I happened to get was very good, the lady was pretty nice and likeable. The atmosphere was simplistic and that of a generic fast food place, but they did have minor Halloween decorations when I visited so that's a plus. But what matters most was the food, the chili dog and burger I got were fairly average maybe a little below, the chili was fine but I think that most of the enjoyment was got out of the meal was that it was hot while I was cold. The fries were very plain, probably the most nothing fries I've ever had. I got the Froot Loops shake which was interesting and overall pretty good. Their jalapeño poppers were legitimately really good, better than most I've had at sit down restaurants. The cost was pretty alright for the value. My colleague rated his meal a 13/15, he said the corn dogs were pretty dang good. For me though this is a high 3 star rating, bordering on 4. 9/15 A good place to warm yourself up for the cold

Yummy yummy when I travel here from Houston I have to have these hot dogs. Wish we had one in my area of Sugar Land TX.

This has to be my new favorite fast food establishment in Lubbock,TX or ever. The store is super cute on the outside and it reminds me of chains from 1950s. Inside, the store is super clean and well kept. Not to mention the service is fast and friendly. They genuinely seem happy to work there and with each other which is so hard to find. The food is very high quality for a fast food weiner joint. The corn dogs are sweet and crunchy outer layer. Meanwhile the hot dogs are well prepared and hearty. The fries are made to order and can include some decent chili. I was excited for my first trip here, but now I'm excited to come back!

They had been a lot of hate on this restaurant lately, but I really enjoy their dogs. This is coming from a guy would not even eat a hot dog anywhere else. But it is sooo good and they they have the best chili cheese fries

pastrami and fries at 11pm! hehe

Hasn't changed much and is still the place to get a good ole greasy chili cheese dog when you've just gotta have one.

I want to give this place 5 stars really bad but the prices are ridiculous. 22$ after tip for one sandwich one drink and one small bag of chips. I won't be back even though the sandwich was delicious. I'm just not gonna pay that much for a sandwich when I can go to Jersey Mikes and spend half that

The wait was a little long after we ordered, but there were only 2 employees working and 2 orders ahead of us. When we got our sandwiches, they were a decent size and tasted absolutely fantastic. The reason for 4 stars is simply the PRICE! There were four of us and we each got a sandwich and a combo and the total was over $80! While the sandwiches were good, we could have had a regular sit-down dining experience for less than that! Sadly, this is the reason we will likely not be returning. It's a shame, because there were several other sandwiches we would be willing to try. I am concerned about the longevity of this place with prices that high. That said, if you are okay spending $20 a person, you will not leave hungry and you will be satisfied with the food itself!

The space itself is adorable--think industrial loft vibes with exposed brick, warm wood accents, and that cozy, slightly artsy feel you get from an old brick building repurposed just right. It's the kind of place that feels calm and intimate, especially tucked into a quieter downtown pocket that gives off small-city charm in the best way. I ordered a loose-leaf green tea (I won't even attempt to pronounce the name), brewed French-press style, and it was so good--earthy, smooth, and surprisingly reminiscent of crispy rice mixed with green tea. Warm, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. My husband went with an Americano, which was solid and well-balanced. They do offer food and small bites, but what really stood out was how community-forward the space feels. There's local artwork displayed throughout the café, all available for purchase, along with curated retail items like tallow products, cool tees, and other thoughtful little finds you don't usually see in a coffee shop. Between the cozy industrial atmosphere, quality drinks, and strong support of local artists and makers, Nashville Cafe feels less like a quick coffee stop and more like a place you actually want to linger. A really sweet spot downtown--quiet, creative, and full of character.

I preferred the iced vanilla latte a lot more because it had better balance of sweet and coffee. The mocha was fine but just didn't have a lot of flavor. Blue Sky Texas was a decent burger place…read more There are two locations as of April 25, 2026 in Lubbock, TX. This one is on the north side of town close to Texas Tech University. The parking lot was packed. I had to park kind of near the smelly dumpster and an unsightly view of a trashy lake or pond. So when my daughters and I walked in, we were not greeted. We snaked around the long horizontal pole meant to form a line. The chick at the register did not to be in that position. She was not nice. Did not listen. Was not courteous. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready. Your receipt will show the same number that should pop up on the number readers either above the meal counter or in the dining room near a TV. Here's what we ordered: Green chile cheeseburger ($11.49) Cheeseburger mayo only ($10.99) Bacon cheeseburger with ketchup added ($12.99) Large fries ($4.99) Small fried jalapenos ($5.79) 2 regular fountain drinks (2 @ $2.89) The patties were fairly thick. My daughter received several pieces of bacon on her burger. She was happy about that. The green chile was definitely on the very mild side. I loved it, but the juices saturated my burger when I dumped the cup on there. Soggy burgers are not fun. My bad. I didn't count that against them. The fries were really good. The jalapenos had a kick! The Coca Cola was super flat. My daughter let me try it when I was shocked by her admission about it. Lol. The dining rooms can get a bit loud. I could not hear my kids half of the time. Felt like an old timer. But it could have been that we sat between the food counter where you pick up your food tray and the soda fountains. Congested! It was the only table available at the time! Still, the entire staff seemed a bit moody. I did not appreciate that. The restrooms were decently cleaned. Overall, though, I don't think I'll be back.
