Lubbock tx 34th and Quaker. You need to drug test your employees I could tell that the guy taking my was so stoned or high and I'm not sure what he was but he couldn't get our order straight and he was talking slurring and he messed up our order. The thing is he is not the only one that I've noticed. It's real stone up here messing up orders because you're stoned you need to drug test your employees. read more

This is my first ever time at a wienerstezel and as an experience I would rate it pretty dang alright. The service I happened to get was very good, the lady was pretty nice and likeable. The atmosphere was simplistic and that of a generic fast food place, but they did have minor Halloween decorations when I visited so that's a plus. But what matters most was the food, the chili dog and burger I got were fairly average maybe a little below, the chili was fine but I think that most of the enjoyment was got out of the meal was that it was hot while I was cold. The fries were very plain, probably the most nothing fries I've ever had. I got the Froot Loops shake which was interesting and overall pretty good. Their jalapeño poppers were legitimately really good, better than most I've had at sit down restaurants. The cost was pretty alright for the value. My colleague rated his meal a 13/15, he said the corn dogs were pretty dang good. I remember eating at the "Der Weinerschnitzel" when I was at Texas Tech in the early 1970's. Hasn't changed much and is still the place to get a good ole greasy chili cheese dog when you've just gotta have one. (Not greasy - but you get the picture!). Stopped by for a quick lunch after a morning wandering around a convention. The woman at the counter was friendly and patient. The food was delicious, warm, and quickly prepared. The chili cheese bacon ranch fries were a big hit with the family. The dining room was clean, not too bright, and they had a great playlist going. This has to be my new favorite fast food establishment in Lubbock,TX or ever. The store is super cute on the outside and it reminds me of chains from 1950s. Inside, the store is super clean and well kept. Not to mention the service is fast and friendly. They genuinely seem happy to work there and with each other which is so hard to find. The food is very high quality for a fast food weiner joint. The corn dogs are sweet and crunchy outer layer. Meanwhile the hot dogs are well prepared and hearty. The fries are made to order and can include some decent chili. I was excited for my first trip here, but now I'm excited to come back! read more

My husband loves hotdogs! We have been to other Wienerschnitzel locations and NEVER had such terrible food. This location was so sad. It was very clean looking but had a strange smell. The lady that took our order was nice enough I guess. The lady that gave us our tray of food slid it toward us and said, "Here." The hotdogs were cold and fell apart. We couldn't eat them. The blazing fries were barely warm and the cheese was not melted. We went to eat at 10:50 in the morning so everything should have been piping hot and ready for customers. We paid $17.82 for three Chicago dogs, fries, an order of Blazin Fries, and two medium drinks. We were VERY disappointed!! I don't recommend this location at all. read more

I have never seen this chain before and I thought I would give it a try for lunch. On first walking in the place was clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The prices and the quantity of food received are very far off. Small order of blazin chili cheese fries almost 4 dollars and the container had about 2 dollars worth of stuff in it. The fries were not crispy and a little under cooked. My Italian sausage was good had good flavor but it was on a hotdog bun, not very good. The place was clean and the staff was friendly but it won't hurt my feelings if I never see this chain again. Don't waste your time or money in my opinion drive on to the next place. read more

well.... its a hot dogs spot, but its a late night option and that makes me the happiest about it. i didnt get the hotdog as they always make it too messy... i went with the pastrami... the pastrami sandwhich was pretty good! i added tomato and mayo, and had them cut it in half to avoid the famous messyness of thier normal delivery lol. twas yummy. 3 stars coz the bread was pretty soggy, they should think about toasting it. read more

I went to Weinerschnitzel hungover and wanting a nice meal to cure it and it was ok. I got three hot dogs with cheese and one with a pretzel bun and they were pretty good, nothing special, but I mean I enjoyed them. I ordered medium fries and they were also not bad but they weren't anything to brag about, they were really soggy. I also got a large lemonade and that was really refreshing. The service was quick, I went through the drive thru and it was pretty quality service. My whole meal was about $12 though and I didn't expect that so that was kind of disappointing, but overall I'd say the whole meal was about 2 star worthy. read more

This place is the bomb. First time trying a Wienerschnitzel, and it was well worth it! I got the BBQ bacon burger and a Polish sandwich, as well as a strawberry lemonade. It all tasted amazing and it was out to me quickly through the drive-thru window (fast like a drive-thru should be). On top of it, the lady taking orders was super nice. Just an overall great place!
