Purse after cleaning

Would NOT recommend to anyone wanting to have their purse or wallet cleaned. The only thing they successfully accomplished was wiping the grease off of the top of the wallet. We were told that they ship the purse and wallet off to a third party for cleaning and could clean the interior of the purse. It seems that they didn't even attempt to do so. The purse had additional staining on the inner pocket which was not there originally. We were told it would take 2 weeks to receive the items back. They returned them in a week- the purse looking equally as bad as it did when dropped off. When asked if they even tried to clean it they said we could write a complaint and try to have them clean it again. No money off, $130 that could have been spent just buying a new purse (which is what we did because this 'cleaning' was so atrocious. 0 stars. Literally could have just said they couldn't clean it. Total freaking scam rip off. NEVER again. Said it'd be around $75- $133 for GARBAGE.

The staff was very friendly! They did excellent on altering my dress! Anything I need altered I will be taking here

I definitely recommend Widmer's on Madison Rd Great Staff! I'm very pleased with my dress they altered I definitely will be returning

The service at Widmer's is second to none, you really get personalized service, they correct mistakes and you are a name, not a number.

This was my first time using them, and it will absolutely be my last. They completely ruined my…read more$150 sweater, kept it for over two weeks, and then refused to offer any refund or resolution. I was originally told I'd get my sweater back the same day, but instead I ended up making nine separate trips to the store between 10/25/25 and 11/12/25 just trying to get updates. The employees were unhelpful and gave me a different excuse every single time. The most unbelievable one: I was told my sweater wasn't ready because they were "waiting on a part that was on the UPS plane that recently crashed in Louisville." Not only was that impossible--they had already had my sweater for over a week at that point--but using a tragic accident as an excuse was incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. No one at the store ever answered the phone despite multiple calls, and I was never able to speak with a manager. The very last time I went in--when they finally handed me my ruined sweater--the employee told me there was "no way" for them to even know whether they could issue a refund. Another lie. That's when I asked for the owner's information and emailed him directly (Josh Pinkey), but he never responded either. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration--go literally anywhere else for dry cleaning.

I dropped off a bundle of shirts for the tenth time and asked for a light starch. When I picked…read morethem up they were not starched at all. They said customers had complained that the starch was too heavy so they quit starching. I asked for a re-do and they did them over at no charge. I requested a light starch. They came back with an incredibly heavy starch, almost like paper.

I'll give them this, my dry cleaning was done well. That said, I kind of expect my dry cleaning to…read morebe done well, it's not as though this is some new break through science. Further, one of the items I brought them was a wool sweater, which after cleaning they hung on a hanger, as in through the collar with the weight on the shoulders. This is not the best way to store a sweater as it stretches the sweater out. I asked, "is this the way you always handle sweaters?" The woman replied, "yes, unless you request it to be folded." How was I supposed to know that there was even an option? It just seems to me being a clothing cleaning professional that they would know this is not good for a wool sweater. Anyway, the worst part is they are absurdly expensive. $18 for a two piece suit? Really?!?! Are you dry cleaning it in the tears of a unicorn? They are convenient to where I live, but not so convenient that I'm going to let them smack me in the face with the good money I use to pay their absurd prices. Thank you, please drive through.

In Cincinnati on business for 3 days recently, I was dismayed when I unpacked my suitcase and found…read morethat my skin cream had leaked through my toiletry bag and onto 4 pair of dress pants. I had driven past A One cleaners earlier in the day and remembered where they were. I was hopeful that they would be able to help out - and quick. The woman at the counter was very courtious and said that they had a very skilled Dry Cleaning person that handled stains like that. So, I decided to leave them especially because she told me they could have them ready at 1pm. I have to tell you, when I picked up my slacks there was not a hint of that oily cream left anywhere. These guys bailed me out big time and I am so thankful that I happened upon this place! Two big thumbs up to you guys!! Well done.
