The entire idea behind the room is that you essential get to break things for about a half an hour and you can't pass that up! Our instructor was very clear with their safety instructions and how it's very important to leave the full protective body suit on. We felt like ghost busters and were sweating bullets but it was worth it... let me repeat you will be SWEATING as it's very hot in the suits but for your protection. I asked the instructor has anyone ever hurt themselves and they said yes those who took off their suit while in the room. We knew for a fact we wouldn't be doing that. Once in the room you can hook up your phone and play your own music and then that's where the fun begins. I was in a room with a friend and we had bats, hammer and crowbars with box full of glass plates, cups and other items smash and break. The idea overall seems crazy but it was very fun and almost therapeutic. They stated that you can bring your own items to break if you'd like and the instructor mentioned that one person brought in a TV to smash. Overall very fun experience.

Marla, and the assistant instructor Rachel, are absolute gems. They clearly love archery, and they are phenomenal at teaching it. Every so often another instructor, Brian, will come over and offer some assistance too, and he's amazing as well The kids in the youth class are clearly taught range safety, and they take it seriously. They also clearly enjoy their instructors as well, which is something that is so important in youth coaching. ( I am a youth coach in another sport.) The range itself is really well situated, and they have a small pro-shop as well. If they can't do something for you, they will send you to the right place to get it done. If you're looking for a place to get started (or to get back into it in my case) this would be the place to go.

The process was simple since we had lined up our group and paid ahead of time. We had Coach Payton (I hope I spelled it correctly). He was extremely informative and explained what we were going to do for our two hours there. We all had a blast and he was extremely patient with us all. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to do a work event, stress relief, or just a fun activity indoors.

I went yesterday for a friend's birthday party and it was a lot of fun. It was easy to sign up and pay online beforehand ($40). I didn't know what we would be creating until we arrived - I'm not sure if my friend chose that, or PWAT chose for her. I think our instructor's name was Rachel, and she was very good. I'm not really good at painting, my painting came out okay overall IMO though. You're allowed to bring drinks and food, I think my friend and some of the other attendees brought some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and some snacks. The class is two hours long and you'll leave with a nice painting of your own creation. They also had a contest mid-class where we could guess the number of wine corks in a big bottle, and I was the winner! (I was only four off - I won't tell you the # though because I think they do this every class) Because of that, I was able to choose a painting from the wall, and I really love the one I chose. I believe these paintings are done by instructors. Overall I'd come back here again although it's a little bit of an expensive habit if you go often ($40 each time).

FWIW, at the end I threw against the top axe chucker and thoroughly cleaned his clock. This should garner me creds amongst the younger folk. Back downstairs for more snacks, drinks and the results.
