During going over the rules we found out none of the kids could use the VR set as they had to be 13 years old and the operator said it was "clearly stated". It was definitely not clearly stated when booking or even on confirmation email. I scoured the website in case I missed something and could find nothing on age limits for VR. Kids were upset as they were looking forward to it. The kids ended up enjoying playing the games with their friends. The young man working with his Dad was great, helped the kids out quite a bit when they were having issues. It was upsetting as a customer not getting exactly what you thought you were paying nearly $400 for. All in all it was an ok experience, not horrible but definitely could have been better.

Also I was under impression that you had professional people who will give instructions on how to use game systems but when I came in a couple of boys were sitting and didn't know what to do while the instructor playing game with other kids?!?! This a very expensive treat and I was expecting this to be the highlight of the birthday! Unfortunately it was big disappointment! The staff where very kind and accommodating, even with our large party of 7. They did their best to provide a wide range of games for us to play. In addition, after our time was up, my friends and I got to beta test their first multiplayer VR backpacks. Imagine being able to physically move around and play with your friends in an open space - awesome, right? This is a but a glimpse of what Escape VR at Oxford, MI can provide to the public. I'm only in Michigan for vacation this weekend, but this visit was the most memorable.
