The kids got pizza, unlimited pop and chips. Wait there's more each kid got 2 quarters so they can play the video games. Why didn't I think of this years ago when my kids were younger! They had a great time! I gave a four star NOT because I had to take my shoes off by the door, but they were laid out all over the floor amongst 30 other pairs, it was a shoe disaster. A few shoe organizers by closet maid should do the trick. Also if you do go to Cosmic Bowling bring a couple of yellow high liters and have fun with them, the kids were glowing literally! Great birthday and I didn't pay a whole lot of money and I didn't have to clean my house !

Cash only. The shopkeeper was friendly, but the place was completely dead on a Saturday night around 9pm, save for a few old dudes drinking in the bar area. Most of the lanes seemed to be in pretty worn shape. There were a lot of bowling balls to choose from. The shoes we rented seemed pretty new. The thing that got me the most was that they don't have automatic scoreboards. Now, I grew up in bowling alleys and I've NEVER seen an alley where you have to score yourself manually. Maybe this is the type of establishment you enjoy after you're already trashed? I don't know. Bowling wasn't very fun here.

A group of us went for a team building event at 2:30 pm on a Wednesday and I was honestly…read moredisappointed with the service (or lack there of). Stood around the front desk area for 10 mins where not one employee came to greet us or help us. I walked all around the facility until I got to the bar and was helped by another gentleman, who was able to find someone in the back to come to the front. We witnessed a mother and son angrily walk out because they couldn't find anyone in the arcade area to redeem for prizes. After booking, we were told we had to wait 15-20 mins because there was no one working that area until 3 pm. The frustrating part was that I called the day before to ask about bringing a group in and was told we could come anytime because there were no reservations scheduled. It would have been helpful to know that the facility was understaffed and that the laser tag area would not be staffed until later in the day. Our group spent a significant amount of time waiting, which felt like a poor use of the time we had set aside for the event. For an establishment that's known for hosting team building activities in the heart of Solon, I was honestly disappointed in our experience.

I never leave negative reviews, but our experience at RollHouse was incredibly disappointing,…read moreespecially considering this was supposed to be a special day for my little brother's 7th birthday. We booked a party for him, invited all of his friends and their parents, and expected a fun, organized experience. Unfortunately, the service was practically nonexistent. In fact, I can't even say the service was terrible because there really wasn't any service to speak of. We spent most of the time trying to figure things out ourselves and struggled to get assistance whenever we needed it. What made the situation even more frustrating was discovering that we were automatically charged a 20% service fee. For what, exactly? A service charge is supposed to reflect actual service provided, but we received little to none. Charging customers an automatic gratuity while failing to provide the level of service it implies is incredibly disappointing. When we brought our concerns to the manager, Maria, instead of taking responsibility or trying to make things right, she explained that one of her employees had called off. While I understand that staffing issues happen, that's an internal management problem--not the customer's responsibility. We still paid the full price for the party, including the mandatory 20% service charge. If customers are expected to pay full price regardless of staffing shortages, then the business should still be expected to provide the level of service those charges are meant to cover. Birthdays are important, especially for young kids. Families spend a lot of money to create lasting memories, and unfortunately, this experience left us feeling frustrated rather than celebrated. I hope RollHouse takes customer concerns more seriously in the future, reevaluates its automatic service fee policy, and ensures managers take accountability instead of offering excuses. Based on this experience, I can't recommend booking a birthday party here.

That is, friendly dives where you don't get looked at funny. Not too funny anyway. The bowling is league-only, though you can call ahead and reserve lanes on certain non-league nights. Again, because they have to make sure they have somebody working that night to set the pins. And because there are only four lanes to bowl on. There are many other factors that make this place awesome, but you really have to see for yourselves. So head over there, don't order anything that makes you look like a total panz, and play a few rounds of pool. Miraculously, the bathrooms are well stocked and clean. A friend and I came here on a whim, and I can assure you that I'll be back. If the door is locked, hit the bell. They will buzz you in. P.S.- This place is also a music venue.
