What a terrible experience. We came on a Friday night and it was t too busy when we got there. Their bar area was closed for a private event so we sat in their dining area and ordered dinner at the bar. An appetizer, two sandwiches and a beer. First problem was when the bartender couldn't figure out how to take our gift cards since supposedly the gift cards couldn't pay for alcohol. Okay, we'll pay separately for the beer. Nope. He said he'd figure it out and he gave us the beer and said he put the food order in. Nearly an hour later, no food and no communication from the bartender. This seems to be the way that most old bowling alleys are going is they are keeping the bowling alley aspect of it but they're adding in a bar and Escape rooms and in some cases they're adding in arcades and or climbing Monkey Bar Style walls. I don't really like bowling but the kids seem to enjoy it to do have an Interactive bowling way of scoring and if you have kids you can program the machines to automatically pop up the alley bumpers so the kids don't get gutterballs each and every time it's not anything you have to do manually and it's actually a good idea and works pretty well. The scoring seems to be accurate although the changeover seems to be a little slower than I care for I don't like bowling because it's such a slow sport. We did order food your traditional wings and fries and what not and it's exactly what you think food in a bowling alley would taste like. Food that is cooked and served in a bowling alley. Nothing spectacular, kind of like they ordered from Gordon Food Service through it in a fire and gave it to you which in and of itself isn't a bad thing but you don't go to a bowling alley and expect an awesome meal. In my humble opinion it was rather pricey to go bowling and for what the food cost us that also seemed to be kind of Hefty while I don't recall exactly what it was I know it was a lot more expensive than I originally had anticipated. However the bar was kind of neat but it was a little too bright and did not have enough tables and the bartender seem to care more about curing on conversation with a friend that was a bar then actually serving the clientele. read more

Nothing but problems with 2 lanes. I was at the counter 5 times to fix the problems. When I complained to Waylyn, the manager, he told me to check my attitude. Of course I had an attitude. I wasn't neither yelling, nor even raising my voice. I was just complaining about all the problems. Plus, who is he to tell me how I should feel? Especially since not once did he apologize. And I called him on the fact that I am allowed to have an attitude and that he never apologized. He just stared at me. Even then he would not say "sorry we are having such a hard time with our equipment.". He should not be a manager. He has no people skills. I will be calling the general manager tomorrow and letting her know. It was Waylyn that ruined our night, not the constant problems. Update: I called the general manager, Caitlyn. The call was intercepted by someone claiming to be the district manager. I didn't catch his name. He seemed to be very aware of the situation. After discussing the situation, he offered to give us a free game of bowling. I accepted and furnished him with my email address. It's been almost three weeks and I have not received what I was promised. 2nd Update: I sent an email via online website form to their corporate office and have not received a response at all. Went for a birthday party. Had a tab open at the bar & when I went to pay it upon leaving, the bartender said that my husband had combined our tabs together and paid it all. Then I get a charge on my card for almost DOUBLE what it would of been IF my husband hadn't paid. I have been here twice. the first time I was hoping it was just a bad day but turns out it's just how the operate The first time I sat at the bar and waited while the bar tender never acknowledged me and served others that arrived after, I tried to get drinks at another bar but they would only serve me if I was bowling. The second time the place was dead, I stood at the bar while the bar tender took her time with nothing but did finally come over and take my order. Reviewing based on our recent experience at the "Bomb Bar" inside of the RollHouse Mentor. A close friend recommended the Bomb Bar so I decided to take my wife on her birthday along with my 14 year old son. We sat down and looked at the menu for about 10 minutes. Then, I proceeded to the bar to place our food and drink order. At that time, the bartender told me we had to leave because our 14 year old was not permitted in there after 5pm. Again, we'd already been there 10 minutes. So as we walked out, I asked a manager about the 21 and over after 5pm policy. She said there is no such policy. RollHouse Mentor is a decent place lanes are nice game room is fun but the prices are ridiculous. $35 an hour per lane and $5.25 for a pair of shoes. We take our granddaughters up once in a while as we don't bowl anymore but I really think it should be more reasonable I understand that people pay it without blinking but it's really expensive. Staff overall are ok food is decent (fries, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks etc.) I'd recommend just be prepared to spend a small fortune. read more

I went here for the first time to go bowling with my family. we had two lanes and the service was fast setting us up on the lanes. This is a great location because it has everything you need for everyone in your family - everything from bowling lanes to a full service bar to a huge arcade. The food is not the best, but it's bowling alley food so you should know what you are getting into. The prices are decent but the most important thing is that this location is very clean. Usually bowling alleys are grimey but all tables were cleaned very well. The only thing are the bathrooms are very small and outdated which is interesting because that doesn't match the rest of the building. The manager Waylynn was beyond rude and unprofessional. Upon arriving he sold us a package for three games of bowling. I asked specifically to confirm we would have enough time since it was near their closing hours. He said it's fine don't worry about it this is our best deal for you "just do it we're busy". He also said whatever you do not finish can be refunded back. We finished one game and the bowling alley closed. When approaching him to ask about the other two games he said and I quote "tough luck dude that's how the pins fall" refused to give us any refund back for the unused games, not even a rain check for the future. The restaurant here was not prepared for a busy night. In oder to place a drink or food order my wife had to go up to the bar which usually had a long line because the place was pretty busy. It took over an hour for food and my wife's cheesesteak was ice cold. Besides that the 2 wraps and quesadillas were pretty good. We also had to send back a drink because it was too sour. Bottom line is if you want half was decent service or are in a hurry to eat this is not the place for you. It is wonderful here. Very family friendly and they are always updating and improving the place. Unlike other bowling alleys in the area that are dingy and dirty, Game of Mentor is always a well lit, clean and up to date. The staff here is amazing. Today my son and I played two games of bowling and then went to the arcade to play for awhile. We did well and had 4500 points to choose a prize with and my son really wanted something that was 5,000 points. I offered to pay the difference, but the guy working at the counter just too care of the extra tickets needed and my son was beyond thrilled. That's what customer service is all about. Terrible place to be at and to work at,The management, their cheapskates. You see any other bowling alley that tries so hard to have a 5 star menu lol, and the food is bowling alley food. Love this place! The bowling is great and not usually to jam packed, the general manager there we have not gotten his name but twice he made our drinks at the bar and they were amazing!! He was doing everything from checking people in to cleaning and manning the bar. I have a lot of respect for that. We came on a slower day so I am sure it's not always just him but he definitely made it work. The arcade wasn't working for the most part but we did get a refund for the card we bought. The escape room place connected is also pretty awesome and I would suggest checking it out for sure, We will go here a couple more times before we leave the area and we recommend it highly for anyone who is wondering about going. read more

Had my children's birthday party here. Pizza was good and place was clean. They charge you 20% gratuity for the party server and we had to ask for everything serving utensils, plates & napkins. The server even asked if we wanted new plates or reuse our pizza plates for the cake which yes we wanted clean plates, then had to chase her down for forks. I was charged for 15 kids when I only had 14 which would explain why the server had a "extra" game card. It would have been a great experience if the wait staff was better trained and more on top of things.
