Wow! Stopped by Wicked Slice today for a quick lunch, and I was very pleasantly surprised! I got a special slice with blackberries and ricotta, heated up & boxed to go. SO good!! An incredible flavor combo on pizza that I never would have thought of, but will now look for wherever I go! The restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Super good pizza! Buffalo chicken was very good, I appreciated that there was Gorgonzola and red onion on the pizza, it added a nice flavor, and there was a perfect amount of spice. Pepperoni pizza was also very good, the sauce was what impressed me. The past couple of places I've tried pizza were good but had boring sauce - this sauce was full of flavor. We also got an order of fries, they were alright...tasted kind of like McDonald's fries in my opinion. Definitely will be going back for pizza in the future. Only complaint was that they said 35 minute wait (Saturday night around 5pm) and it ended up being around 45-50 minutes. They do have free delivery though if you live in the area. They also have coupons on their website that you can use simply by mentioning when you place your order. read more

Went in for some slices today. I waited patiently for a while. I put 2 cans of soda on the counter and sat down. They blonde employee behind the counter was taking a call about an order they made wrong earlier. After the call ended, he came up 3 times to the counter and didnt acknowledge me. No greeting, no "ill be with you in a moment". It wasnt busy, and he had plenty of opportunities to acknowledge a customer. I was hungry, and a repeat customer that always tips well. I eventually walked out, leaving the cans of soda on the counter. I hope the employees read this and remember me, because i wont be coming back for quite a while. read more

This has been our go to place for pizzas even before it was Wicked and we've had some not so good pies from there but I have to say tonight's was the worst. The order was for half pepperoni and half hamburger; delivery time was going to be 55 - 60 minutes. Not unusual but I'll have to say the delivery was the best part of the order. Pizza was pretty cool when it arrived, we're not that far away from the location and they usually arrive pretty warm. We looked for the hamburger but it was pretty much non existent. Pepperoni wasn't as bad but it was pretty scarce as well. And whoever was over seeing the baking must have turned away and forgot to pop the bubbles in the crust. We had more bubbles than hamburger. And the bubbles which were all around the crust were burnt and not edible. Even the dog turned her nose up at them. We ended up throwing out most of the pizza. Very disappointing for a place that we have ordered from numerous times with few problems. We'll give it another go but if the results are the same we'll be shopping for another place. read more

Best pizza in the area! They deliver to Colchester. Thank God, it beats the pants off of Iliano's and I am not a Greek pizza fan. That's all they have in Colchestet. The crust is crispy and delicious. The toppings are fresh, sauce excellent. There was a cool dude tossing pizza dough when I was there. So it truly is hand tossed and even. Terrible experience and customer service from the business. The only good communication regarding our order came from the delivery guy. He called 2 hours after we ordered saying he was 10 minutes away and that he was so sorry. He was the best ambassador for the company that we experienced all night. Looking for that special fold in half slice! Found it here! I was tired of Dominos so I wanted something delicious, thinner and tasted small town. Yelp recommended this place and they didn't lie! We ordered a large pepperoni/mushroom and a medium buffalo chicken of course to go. We live 15 minutes away, the pizza was still very warm and tasted amazing. The buffalo chicken tasted like it was fresh. There was just enough heat and I actually really enjoyed the red onion! I was a bit apprehensive at first but it was great! The crust was soft but crunchy on the top edge, there was just enough sauce for me! I like mine a little bit heavier. I gave it 4 stars because my son and husband still prefer Dominos but I'd choose this any day of the week! read more

Wow! Wicked Good Service! It was my birthday the other day, I didn't feel like going out or heating up the kitchen to bake myself a cake. I remembered that Wicked Slice is the ONLY place in this area that has fantastic cannolis, so with that thought I was on my way to a fun and tasty Birthday celebration. Quality and service depend on how high the staff are. We've had amazing pizza delivered on time. We've also gone in to pick up chicken tenders ordered 40 mins prior, only to wait another half hour in the restaurant, then have them served in the wrong sauce. The quality of pizza seems to have gone down. Last night our pizza had little sauce and was very dry. The order took an hour for pickup which tends to be normal here. They forgot our order of garlic bread but refunded it once we called. At least they said they would but it still hasn't been credited- assuming it's just a delay. Horrible and waaay over priced. I would be fine in this current economic environment to pay what I did as long as it was good quality food but that was not the case. I paid $80 plus tip for 3 small pizzas, a side salad and 12 wings...total bill $95! The wings were very small, very soggy and tasted like you know what. The 3 pizzas followed suit with the whole wing experience. The salad was brown....need I say more? When we called in the order they did not have a few of the items we wanted from their menu and was told that they are no longer on the menu even though they still have that menu on line. I asked if they could send their latest menu with the order.....was told they don't have any. The person who took the order and the person who delivered the order were very nice but clearly frustrated. Hebron Pizza closed down recently due to a fire in the Plaza but will reopen and Wicked Slice is monopolizing on this with their price gouging. The poor quality situation has been happening for the past couple of years which is why I haven't ordered from them in a while. Shame on them for not taking their craft seriously and with passion. We are a small community and are very supportive of our hometown businesses but it seems that Wicked Slice is just another small chain restaurant that lost its vision and passion. read more

They were super friendly and even though we received the wrong order, the pizza and salads were great. Really good pizza! We called to let them know about the mixed up order and they were super cool about it. We didn't ask for anything, but they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Picked up a pizza from here and it was okay thought the crust was a little too thick and as a result did not cool thoroughly. Some people might think thin pizza crust is just a matter of taste, however, if pizza crust is too thick and you cook it at a high temperature, some parts of the crust are not going to cook all the way and you're going to get spots that are doughy and uncooked or undercooked. If your pizza crust is the thickness of this place, the oven temperature needs to be turned down slightly and the cooking time needs to increase to ensure that it's cooked through all the way. Well my wife and I have been huge fans for years but unfortunately our recent experiences are heading down hill pretty quickly. In fact I have 5 starred them on google reviews before. Our most recent purchase of chicken tenders were strangely bland, fatty, and tasteless compared to the past and our favorite pizza EVER, The San Francisco was not only just plain terrible, but also jumped to 30+ bucks at the cash register! Seriously! The large pie consisted of a blob of toppings, missing the taste part, in the middle of a much larger dough/crust, leaving a 3 to 4 INCH crust with absolutely no toppings and NOTHING but cooked dough. The topping in the middle was a thick layer of cheese, covered by an even thicker pile of spinach and 5 or 6 sliced tomatoes that you have to pay extra for. I have no idea what has happened, but I MIGHT try them once more just for loyalty sake? The pie from this past Thursday night was absolutely terrible guys. I've been the first one to rave for you in the past but WOW! So you combine the ridiculous telephone being busy FOREVER, long wait on hold, and a 30 dollar tab for the pleasure of driving my dinner back home and throwing half of it in the garbage?
