Very cool atmosphere and awesome place. The food here is awesome and some of the best around. Great place to grab drinks and food with friends. This is one of my favorite places to hangout at and take the place in. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot because it will not disappoint. read more

I originally went to Wicked Sisters right after their opening, and it was incredible. Now, only months later, the food is over-priced and nowhere near as good. They can't even fry catfish properly, there were no seasonings in the batter and the fries were soggy. The crab mac and cheese had only a sprinkling on the top and was gritty and unpleasant. This has been a pattern the last three times I have gone. Don't let the menu fool you, it is very poorly executed. The brussel sprouts appetizer and drinks are still good, but after the last three times I will NEVER waste money there again. Their new chef is terrible. read more

This place has extraordinary ambiance and a great wait staff. The appetizers were very good and included the Brussel sprouts and crab dip. For the entree my wife had the veal porterhouse with mashed potatoes and I had the burger. Bothe were very good. Colleen, our server did a fantastic job and was loaded with personality. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent!! We got take out here tonight and can't say enough about how good the food was! Our order came promptly and the portions were huge. Everything was delicious. Thank you! read more

Love it here! Doesn't feel as cramped as McCabe's did. Love the white painted brick, really helps visually open the space up more. But more importantly, both the food AND the service were totally on point. Super friendly server, without being the dreaded too friendly. And my dinner ... so freaking good. Everything bagel encrusted salmon with shredded potatoes, shaved fennel, and a nicely restrained dollop of yogurt sauce. What a great play on what can otherwise be boring ol' salmon. I think I found my go to dish on my very first visit, as I am already looking forward to getting it again. Welcome to the neighborhood Wicked Sisters, so happy to have you here! read more

Wicked Sisters - Everything encrusted salmon! Who needs a stinkin' bagel?? - American Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Brisket sandwich is actually a plain dry hamburger they offer no sauce. Disappointing to say the least.

I came here for an early dinner with my boyfriend. I didn't get to see the upstairs eating area, but the downstairs area had a nice bar. I wish we had been seated away from the bar and upstairs, since we came at the tail-end of happy hour, and it was a little noisy. We ordered the chicken bites as an appetizer. Their signature sauce mixed with the barbecue sauce was a amazing! The chicken melts in your mouth. The fries were also great with their dressing, which was a creamy truffle dressing. My boyfriend and I shared an entree. We ordered the steak, which came with spinach and potatoes. The steak was well seasoned with a great gravy. The potatoes were excellently cooked. The spinach was a little hard, and we ended up not eating it. The service was excellent. Our server gave us some great recommendation. I want to come again to try the other interesting things on the menu! The sandwiches sound amazing, and we'll definitely be back for more chicken bites. read more

I think it's hilarious people revue restaurants in the first week they are open. Of course there are kinks. The food is great, the staff is eager to please, there's valet parking, and it's a beautiful space. Check it out, there needs to be more spots like this around town. read more

A fantastic new restaurant in Hampden! Really enjoyed my dinner as did my fellow diners. Great service, beautiful casual space with FREE valet parking for dinner!! Table recommendations include the Brussels sprouts, the beautifully presented edamame hummus and of course the Raclette potatoes!!! The Everything Salmon was delicious as creative - clearly a Chef Jason Horwitz original! I'm still thinking about our dinner. Can't wait to go back. read more

This place is awesome. It just has the right feel. Lots of beer on tap and RACLETTE. Only note: the old fashioned is really a sazerac. Still good. read more

I came here for a late lunch with my wife and a few friends. I had the burger and the duck fat fries. They stated on the menu that the burger is made with three different beef cuts. Truthfully who knows? Taste? Instant mouthgasm. I am a purist as far as burgers go. I like ketchup, Tabasco and pickles. They nailed it. The duck fat fries sucked. Super greasy without much taste. After that burger I figured I'd love the fries, guess not. My wife and friends enjoyed their meals as well. I'm giving three stars because of the fries and high prices. The service is good and our waitress was very pleasant. Work on the fries folks. read more

Great atmosphere. Duck Fries were delicious but way too salty. Make sure you call beforehand to find out if you need a reservation. Came on a Sunday for Brunch and we had to sit at the bar because we didn't have a reservation. read more

Soon as I step in this establishment I got a bad vibe. We got there at 4p.m, it was a party of 3. The place was particularly empty and the two white hostess told us we had to be seated outside because they had a lot of reservations coming at 5 ( which I didn't quite understand b/c we could have eaten and left w/i a hr) definitely gave off racist vibes! okay fast forward we sit out on their patio it's crazy windy outside debris is falling in your drinks. So our waitress proceeds to go in an ask since it's Empty inside can we come in the hostess still says no. So at this point we haven't order our food so we decide to just pay for our drinks and leave. HOWEVER before being able to do so a HUGE TREE LIMB FALLS ON ME AND MY FRIEND due to high winds. The manager gave an apology still didn't offer us inside dining (which was still empty) and compensated us for our 3 sodas :( sooo let's just say I will never go back to this place and will tell everyone about my experience there. Too bad I didn't get to try the food. read more

i came based in Yelp reviews as I'm in Baltimore for biz. the soft shell BLT was AWESOME! crab and bacon? amazing! food and service were great and my server, Kelly, was terrific (attentive, professional, and pleasant). what bothered me was the meaningless valet service. i pulled into the lot that seemed to require the valet, and no one attended to me. a young white guy drives in many minutes after me--as i was just sitting there waiting--and the valet rushes to serve him! i had to call the valet guy over. i don't know why i was being ignored when i could have easily parked my car myself! i think if Kelly and the food weren't so good i wouldn't be giving a positive review, largely because of the meaningless valet service. dessert selection was lean (just ice cream and one kind of cake) but maybe i shouldn't be eating dessert anyway! beer selection was good! read more

I have been for dinner (5 plus stars) and brunch, solid 4 stars. Great place, great food, nice parking (a plus for sure). I wish the brunch menu had a few more brunch items. But still wonderful! read more

This restaurant was everything I expected and more! I got the turkey burger and it was great. Also got the grapefruit crush and it was the best thing ever. Didn't taste like alcohol but definitely hit me hard read more

Really sad to say it was an awful experience at Wicked Sisters. Seated upstairs near bar in corner table between kitchen and bar doors. All evening heard "order up" door slamming and felt like we were on a runway of scurrying wait staff...except for our waiter who was clueless. Drinks took forever and he pressed us to order entrees before the first round of drinks even arrived. Brought wrong drinks, cold soup, did not clear plates from appetizers and generally flubbed through the evening. Didn't seem to know or care. We have been to brunch, dinner and drinks many times and will not return until COVID restrictions are lifted. Clearly the details and training have not been thought through. I recommend someone on the staff sit at that table and see what a bad tone it sets. read more

Wicked Sisters Tavern is a pretty cool spot, has an upstairs and down, bars on both levels. The food is good and the staff is nice...they tend to have some weird hours, if you are going late...do yourself a favor and call first. They don't stay open super late like most bars. read more

Will never go back - went with 3 other people with a reservation and even thought the downstairs was empty was told we have to eat on second floor. 2 people in the party could not do stairs and we asked to be seated in the empty restaurant. The hostess then huffed and proceeded to tell us what we needed to do in advance for seating preference and in tones loud enough for the 3 other people in this restaurant to hear how we did not deserve our seating preference. When we said no thank you and walked out no apology or attempt to say something appropriate. Sad food is normally good here but historically the hosts are terrible and this time caused us to never return. read more

A great chill place to eat! The atmosphere is really trendy and hipster if I may say so myself. The onion rings are to die for! I think this is a great spot for small or larger groups and the staff were super nice and accommodating! read more

Great food, great service, even with kids. But I have to emphasize that all good restaurants need to understand the needs of patrons dining with kids. It means we want good food but quick service (for the most part). Establishing expectations at the outset is so helpful. read more

Been here twice now - once for weekend brunch and more recently for lunch. Both visits have found the food to be fantastic. Last visit I split the onion rings appetizer with my husband - could not stop eating them and the portion was generous. Also had the steak sandwich in pita which was delicious. The pita was soft and yummy and the steak perfectly cooked. We live the vibe here and the service was quick and friendly. Makes us want to come up to Hampden more often! read more

This is the "Lemon Fennel Hummus". Know whats missing? Lemon, fennel, salt, garlic, tahini - anything that makes this taste like hummus. Bland and watery. Their original hummus "Edamame" was watery and bland. When I saw Lemon Fennel, it had to be tried, it had to be better. This is worse, it literally tastes like someone took a can of salt free chick peas and whirled it in a food processor. The accompaniments were lovely, unfortunately they did not make up for the hummus. read more

Went for a birthday party last night and while we had reserved a section members of our party had nowhere to sit because customers were seated at one of our tables. Once those people left and the table was cleaned a waiter that wasn't our waiter removed a chair saying he needed it for another table (the table was empty) and when someone finally did sit at that table they didn't need the extra chair he removed from our area. As we placed drink and food orders in with our amazing waitress (we loved her blue hair) the other waiter that removed the chair from our group leaned over to our table to tell us that we were too loud and he couldn't hear his customers to take their order. The restaurant was already loud as it was packed but he felt the need to single out our group. While the food was good and I enjoyed the drinks this one encounter is why I won't be returning. read more

We were visiting Baltimore and found this tavern while exploring the funky Hampden neighborhood...so glad we did! The atmosphere is relaxed with a great vibe. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. I had the Nourish Bowl which takes "the bowl" to another level. Instead of all ingredients stirred together, each item was meticulously cooked and plated with various sauces dolloped on the side of the plate to mix as you please. It was one of the best "bowls" I've ever had. The Sweet & Spicy Brussel Sprouts were also a nice variation on the roasted Brussels you get in most places. And the Duck Fat Fries were addictive. My dining mates both got the Wicked Burgers and were equally impressed. Great selection of cold beer rounded out the meal. It doesn't get much better and I can't wait till we visit Baltimore again so we can eat here! read more

I was a little apprehensive about coming here after I saw some of the other reviews about their service and wait times so we came at an off peak weekday time for happy hour. There were only a couple of other people downstairs, almost nobody, empty parking lot, it was great! Pretty sure we had the best bartender in Baltimore, his drinks were awesome and he was so professional and friendly. I wish we had got his name I would have told the manager what great service we had. I ordered a crap ton of food but it was worth it. We had the cheese board (I included a picture, it was beautiful but it's a very sweet board. It needs some olives or marcona almonds to balance it out), the Brussels sprouts (they were great!), and a couple of well made crushes. My boyfriend had the pickled chicken fries which he said were fantastic. Everything was wonderful. We're not huge on crowds but we're in Bmore all the time so we'll definitely try to go back for a weekday happy hour with friends, read more

Really happy with our meal here! Came with a group of five on a Saturday night when this place was HOPPING. We were seated in a small private dining area, which was an awesome surprise. This is one of my favorite menus in the city -- there's enough recognizable stuff to be accessible to the average diner, and enough creative twists to make it fun. Plus, the portion sizes are nice and large -- a rarity at a trendy restaurant. We left full and happy. read more

Food is good, I've been here twice. If I had one criticism it would be to rotate the beer selection. I came in 6-7 weeks apart same selection. Had the burger both times it is very good and the fries are very tasty as well, I like the way they are seasoned. Fries remind me of the bar at brewers art. read more

After driving past this place many times, we stopped in for lunch and I have to say, not impressed. I asked the server before ordering the steak salad and he gave it a thumbs up. We waited an inordinate amount of time for lunch and finally asked for hot rolls....which were the best thing we ate. My salad looked great, with nice fresh ingredients, but the star of the dish, the soy marinated steak was KILLED with too much salt. Apparently the waiter said they have heard this feedback before....so WHY haven't you change the recipe??? $40 some dollars (no cocktails) for this? NO thanks. read more

First visit this past Saturday for an early dinner. I cannot say enough good things about our hostess (who helped coordinate an extra surprise on the sly for my wife) and our server who was top notch, very attentive and just seemed to magically appear at the right time. Had a couple starters (brussel sprouts and the buffalo mushrooms which I could have made a meal out of, they were that delicious). Main courses were the catfish, pork tenderloin, steak and a humongous chicken sandwich for my daughter. All were excellent. Only regret I have is I cannot rate them higher than 5 stars here. Wicked Sisters will be moving to a favored place in our restaurant rotation. Thanks to all who helped make my wife's birthday a complete success. read more

I'm really disappointed in this place. I've been here twice and both times I went right to the bar, sat down, and was ignored. The first time I waited 15 min and the bartenders never acknowledged me so I left and last night I sat there for 35 minutes without a hello, a menu, or a "be right with you." They just ignored me and the people sitting next to me. I'm a bartender in this city and I gave them a second chance because everyone has an off night, but I definitely won't try a third time. I live right down the street, so I was excited to have an easy, cool place to go to. There are too many amazing places in Hampden to waste your time here. Oh and side note, the hostesses are fairly rude as well...no greetings in or out. read more

I literally traveled to Baltimore on standby to have duck fat fires, only to find out they have been discontinued. Which is utterly ridiculous cause that is the best thing about this place. Also, they charged us $1 for bread that should've been free, to go with their crab dip. If they still served duck fat fries this would be a 5 star review. read more

The former site of McCabes, which burned down over a year ago, has been re-opened as Wicked Sisters Tavern and it is amaz-balls. The inside space now has three dining area's - one downstairs with a bar and table/booth seating, and two upstairs - one inside with a 2nd bar and outdoor seating which is both beautiful and rare. We went there this past Sunday with me, the wife, all three kids and oldest kids bf. Sundays can be dicey since often times the A team in the kitchen will have worked the weekend and the B team will be called in for what is normally a slow night. Not so here. There are two chefs so that one is always in the kitchen and while I am not sure which one was there this night, I can say they knocked everything out of the park. We started with the duck fat fries as an app and they came with a very tasty dipping sauce. These were super crisp on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. I ordered the "wicked" burger, wife ordered the meatball grinder, kid 1 had the soup (corn chowder which was so delish - real fresh corn, great taste) and wings, other kids also ordered wings, bf of kid 1 ordered the crab mac and cheese. Everything was outstanding - service was great, food was really well made, everything was well spiced. As another diner said, "this isn't just a regular burger" - yeah, thanks, Capt. Obvious. They have three kinds of beef in the burger and they cooked it just as ordered. They add some extras which can sometimes cover up the taste of the beef - not so here. The add ons only made the burger taste better. I selected the onion rings which were crisp and delightful. Yes, I said it, delightful onion rings. I had a taste of the crab mac and it was creamy and flavorful. No shortage of crab, no shortage of flavor. The wings were good in a classic wing sauce (made with Texas Pete) kind of way. This is the kind of place that makes one wish for an extra stomach. So glad they are in this space and I can't wait to take the wife out for a special occasion and sit outside. This place has a lot going on - friendly staff, lots of laughing at lots of tables, great food, and a nice atmosphere. They also offer free valet parking (and they take reservations) although street parking is easy to find. I could not more highly recommend eating here. read more

Amazing! Big portions, cheap eats, and delicious food. The drinks were strong and enjoyable. Friendly bartender and wait staff but the service was a bit slower during the late night happy hour. I've ordered the turkey burger, Onion rings and fries (yummy) during my first visit. Second time: catfish biscuit (small but good), flatbread and roasted chicken flatbread. Again, delicious food. read more

Pretty neat place and a solid addition to the Hampden area, with a good draught beer selection. We went with an odd assortment of lighter fare, splitting the baked meatballs, "sweet and spicy" brussel sprouts, butternut squash soup, and garlic mushrooms. Nothing really stood out as particularly exceptional. The meatballs were a tad dry, though the tomato sauce with the balls was quite good. The sweet aspect of the sprouts far outweighed the spicy aspect, though they were well cooked. The soup was also pretty sweet, and the mushrooms were decent but seemed overpriced at $6. The one oddity was the seemingly frantic pace of the service, which didn't combine well with the upstairs layout and "counter" tables where we were seated. The tables are in the center of the floor area, where part of a wall appears to have been taken out to open things a bit and create two 4-seater tables that are pretty narrow and reminiscent of counters. The space between the tables and the upstairs bar is likewise tight, which resulted in getting bumped by the hurrying staff at time, and some near misses with and between the staff and the patrons. We'll be back to sample some more of the fare at some point, and hopefully it will be a bit more tranquil. read more

I had the insanity burger the first time I went and it was good. Today I went for brunch and waited a solid hour for food. Everything that came out looked like it was made at Wawa. The bacon and egg sandwich didn't have bacon, like actually none. I think my 3 year niece made my omelet. read more

Excellent service. The Bloody Mary is delicious. The garlic fries are great. The Caesar salad was so flavorful. My boyfriend ordered it, and I ate so much of it, I had to order my own. Our vegan friend was able to partake in the appetizers. We visited during the weekend off hours, so the menu was a bit limited, and varied enough to fit our needs. read more

The one thing I was excited after reading previous reviews was eating the Crab Mac & Cheese. So we ordered it for our table and the Mac & Cheese was really runny and not that much crab was put on our plate. We only ate a few bites of it and didn't bother finishing it. I did enjoy the wings and the atmosphere upstairs. I guess my expectation were so high for the Crab Mac & Cheese that I was let down after it sucked that night. Not sure If I will give this place a second chance even though I live in the neighborhood. read more

Do yourself a favor and go here! Cozy, warm, inviting and killer food! Service is superb and friendly. We booked last minute for a Friday night and were lucky enough to get a table but definitely need reservations if going on a weekend. A few walk ins left as they didn't book ahead. We got the crab dip which was huge! We couldn't believe how much we got for the price and it was delicious. We took half home! We both got their burger. I've been here a few other times and always say I'll try something else but there is something about their burgers! Cooked just right and the brioche bun makes it. Again huge portion with their fries so we both ended up taking half of our meals home as well! Everything is reasonably priced for the quality! read more

Danny was the man.. He treats you with respect, does his best to make sure you are being taken care of and only wants to hear great things about the food. When I told him that the drink I had was a little off, even though my gramps disagreed, he right away took it back and asked me what else I would like. The next drink he brought out was fine, but him as a guy was wonderful. Crab cakes were very good (not the absolute best in Bmore) but still good. BUT. The Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had. Food wise, overall, this place is a 4 for what it is in Baltimore. But Danny is a 5. He did after all deal with me.
