Who would have thought that there would be such an amazing steak restaurant in the tiny town of Declo? We came to Idaho from Arizona for Christmas; to spend time with family, friends and go snowboarding at Pomerelle since we have house in Albion. I am not a huge steak eater but I have been eyeing this restaurant for over a year and couldn't wait to try it after everyone I spoke to raved about it. We passed this restaurant everyday driving from Albion to Burley and finally had a chance to try it. I came with my bf and my daughter and this place is so massively huge on the inside and everyone is super nice. The one thing I wanted to eat were the rocky mountain oysters mainly because I haven't had it in years and ALSO so I can persuade my 12 year old to try it without being told exactly what is was. Yes, I am that mother. She isn't an adventurous eater so I thought I would try anyway- unfortunately they ran out of rocky mountain oysters but that was the only downer of the night. I can honestly say, I cant wait to make the 12 hour drive back to Declo just to eat at this place again. After we ate and went home, all we talked about on the drive back to Albion was how delicious dinner was and how we cant wait to come back. I was so surprised at how good everything was I asked for the next 4 days to come back just to order the same thing. We ordered: $10.99 Fried pickles: 5/5- perfectly battered pickles and very delicious $25.99 Dude (med rare) with fries: 5/5- meat was cooked to perfection $43.99 (2 orders) Filet mignon (1 med rare and 1 med) with one baked potato and one loaded baked potato: 5/5: Flavor from the wood was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I haven't had a steak like this in so long it blew my mind. The baked and loaded potatoes were also amazing! Drinks: $7 (2) Chardonnay- 5/5 $3.50 Dr. Pepper 5/5 $13- Double jack and coke 5/5 Total bill 166.91- Overall: Absolute steal in my opinion! I would have paid double that for the amazing meal we had. Excellent food and service. Much better food than Jakers with the same prices. Loved the atmosphere, unexpected in very rural Idaho. Now for the down side. If you live in the Burley Greater Metropolitan Metroplex or passing by, this is worth the drive...a lot. If you live in the Twin Falls Metro Area, the Jakers prices are really not worth the drive. Wonderful casual atmosphere that serves excellent food. Usually a really busy place as it is well known for great food and service. The staff are very friendly and eager to assist in any way. We've never had a problem or bad meal in all of our time going here. It's a great place to take company and friends to for great food. The bar will sometimes have concerts on the weekends so we plan to go earlier so we can visit with our friends. The food is great, drinks are great and service is even better. read more

I love going here. The staff is very friendly and eager to serve. I usually get the hamburger mid week with fries. On the weekend I go for the end cut prime rib, fillet, or one of their great steaks. Tried this place out tonight 7-11-2020 and couldn't believe it. Little Declo has a secret gem. This place has amazing food and the coldest coors light on tap. Tried the Rocky Mountain Oysters as an appetizer and wished I had ordered a full order as my entree. I ordered the 14 oz rib eye medium. Would order it Medium well next time. We also ordered the prime rib special, and a filet. All the meals were incredible. Entrees come with potato of choice, a small scone with butter, and a cup of beans and salad. The dinning room is alittle loud due to its layout, but you can still hold a conversation. The adjacent bar was pretty busy as well. Definitely worth the drive from Twin Falls. Not the cheapest place to eat, but considering the quality of food, the price is justified. read more

Called ahead and had a reservation for 6:45 walked in the door at 6:47 after circling the parking lot for 5 mins and when we went inside they had already given our table away. So we waited and got a table where we ordered two steaks and both were cooked way past well done when ordered medium. (Steak was so tough it cut up the top of her mouth). The first time we went we order the steak special. It was terrific. The second time we went they were having a big group, and we order the burger special. We got our food cold, because they had all the waitresses setting up for that big group. I guess if you don't order a steak then you don't get good service. Won't go back. Bad service! This was my second time at Wick's. We were there on a Saturday at 5:00, but had an hour wait time to be seated. So, we went into the bar and I ordered a Vodka Martini Dry....the bartender didn't know what dry meant. My friend ordered a Cosmopolitan, and the bartender didn't know what a Cosmopolitan was , but he was willing to look it up on Google. When he did get my drink made he served me my drink, instead of serving the two drinks at the same time. So, I had to wait till he made my friends drink, so we could toast and drink our drinks together. After a while we were then seated for dinner. My friend had steak and a baked potato; she said it was really good. I had Salmon, with a baked potato. The food was delicious. The waiters on the other hand need to be better. Both times we hardly ever saw the waiter. We finally had to ask another waiter to help us. While we were sitting there waiting for our food we noticed a worker working behind a big counter handling food, and taking bites of the food! My friend was able to find out who the night manager was and she was told what we had observed.......not once, but several times. She then approached this worker, asked her about the eating of food, and the worker told her she was eating candy. We were not pleased with that. I think that this place should be given an A for the food. I consider that with these high prices for food, for this area, the owners really need to pay more attention to upgrading the wait staff, certainly review workers who eat the food, and to have the bartenders be more experienced. read more
