I'm very sad to even write this review. I even signed into my yelp account that I haven't used in many years. I have not been to A.C in a little over 3 years. After my wife got pregnant I took a break from eating out. Today I felt my son was old enough to enjoy my favorite burger place in town. I used to come by at least once a month but after today I will never return and I won't even praise it anymore. The Service was decent, the food good, the price was so high it takes everything out. what was a 5.89 farmers burger 3 years ago was over $9 today. same burger and smaller. A single corndog almost $3. and large fries for almost $6. I spent almost $19 dollars today on a medium to small triple patty burger, fries and a corndog. I can buy a 20 pack of corndogs at Costco for $7. A 20 pack of burger patties for $18 or less. Fries? well that's $3 for 5lbs. I get it's 2025 and prices have gone up but this was outrageous. I was hoping to make a new experience with my 2.5 year old som and start a tradition but forget it. This was way too expensive and you even tried to charge me 30 cents for water. If you want to lower your cost, fire half your staff. You don't need 4-5 people on staff to run a burger joint. At most 3. but that doesn't matter anymore. I won't be returning. I'll just continue to pass it as I go to Smiths. For the price I paid tonight I could make the same thing at home for far cheaper. The owner or the owners children need to wake up or this place will shut down. Cost of Opportunity and the cost of this opportunity for a small meal was outrageous. Good luck! Prices have been increased dramatically but service and quality has been reduced. Product is not fresh. Buns were stale. Bit into burger and hit bits of bone and grisel. Kinda sad Actually, stale ice cream cones also. What used to be a treasure has lost its sparkle. read more

Dang that was a good shake! We were on our way home from vacation and i wanted ice cream or a shake for the rest the way home. We were actually headed to DQ but fortunately for me we saw this place and made a U-turn. This is a smaller classic drive-in burger joint that, I take it from the reviews, has been here for a while. There seems to be no seating anywhere and no menu display at the drive-thru. Our server approached us and immediately asked what we wanted, even though there is no menu seen or offered. A bit awkward, we asked to see a menu which she grabbed and then asked what we wanted. I felt rushed. I didn't know what else they offered ( hot fudge sundae, malted shakes, etc). So I just ordered a chocolate shake. Great choice, it was excellent! Would I come back? Probably. It's a bit off the beaten path but then again I was willing to go to DQ. I just think their server needs a little more training. Maybe offer a menu first and allow the customer to look it for 10 seconds before wanting to take the order. Just a suggestion :) read more

Burger was delicious but we waited 15 minutes when there was no other cars in line. I asked for a cheeseburger only mayo and they put at least half the jar on it. Fries were bland and not salted. Asked for tea and got some lemonade thing. The ranch burger was super good and the taco so will probably be back and just hope for a better experience read more

The farmer brown burger is my family's favorite. Every so often we stop in. Their fries and onion rings are dripping in grease so I gave up ordering them. Make the fries at home they taste better. But for burgers they are fair. A little spendy. But it's supporting a mom and pop restaurant so why not. Milk shakes are mediocre. Nothing fancy. read more

So, I used to go to a Small burger joint next to Burger's Etc. in Rupert which recently changed its name to Happy Kamper Cookery. I loved going there as a child, and my mom would always take me because there used to be a brown bag special, which consisted of 3 hamburgers for $1.00 imagine that!!! Ah-mazing!!! Of course they stopped doing it and I was sooo bummed!! I never actually looked at this place as somewhere I'd like to eat. I always pass it on my way to work but never pay much attention to it. One day something inside of me said what the hell, lets try it! I only remember coming here once and having onions rings which in my mind they were delish, although it was so long ago, i cant really remember.. any who enough about my long life story. I ordered a Farmer Brown and to my surprise it tasted like the hamburgers from back in the day!! Dear Lord!!! How I felt like a child again!! The food is always decent but the service has taken a horrible downward turn. We ordered 6 burgers (a $40 order btw) When we got down the road we counted only five. So we returned and asked for the last ranch burger. The waitress went and spoke with someone and returned to tell us the "night manager" said she remembered vividly our order and that it was our mistake and that if we wanted another burger we would need to pay for it. (Not only incorrect but she wouldn't even take the time to come talk to us, and we were the only customers there). So we won't be returning anytime soon and we will be sure to not have anymore company lunches at this establishment. We will just have to spend our $40 somewhere else from now on. read more

Small, dry, lifeless portions. I asked for more fry sauce to choke their hotdog down, nothing doing you have to purchase extra fry sauce. Used to be good, now it's just cheap, crappy and over priced. I try to make it a point to eat here any time I'm in Burley. No salads or tofu burgers here no sir. Just good old fashioned drive in messy greasy food. My brother swears by the Farmer Brown, my loyalty lies with the Ranch burger plus bacon. The tacos are pretty good too, but the hand cut homemade fries are the real highlight. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the price. I used to live down the road from this place glad I moved cause I'd be broke and look like a shorter version of some of my friends. read more

Slackjaw here. A friend recommended this place saying it was the best kept secret in Burley. It was good. Its a walk up location with only a few outside tables and a drive-through. Also, no public restrooms. The service is not fast, but it turns out they are cooking really good, fresh food to order. What a concept. The fries were good and crispy. The burger I had was their classic AC Hamburger with a single patty. The sauce was the difference. Just a hint of a little something extra to make it different from your normal all-American burgers. Had the papa burger. Really a great burger for under $5. The onion rings were delicious too. I will definitely be back. Would recommend it.

Being from Burley my family and I always went to A C Drive-In back in the 80's. Place hasn't changed a bit. Everything still taste's like it did when I was a kid. Now if only I could find out whatever happened to the sandwich shop(I believe it was called Wizards, or something with Wizards in it) that was next to the Yamaha Dirt Bike dealer across from the old Court House. I to this date have yet to find a sub sandwich as good as what they used to produce. read more
