Awesome little local spot that's been around for years. Great service and burger! Will be back next time I'm in Bellevue.

Burger, get in my belly! I visited Wibbley's for lunch 'cause I was craving a burger (like always), and it hit just the spot. Wibbley's is a casual burger joint in east Bellevue, located in a business/shopping centre. But once you step inside - it doesn't feel like another business located in a shopping centre. The high-top tables and craft brews on tap gives you the impression that you're at a pub instead, which is something I can get down with! And the food says even more. I ordered a Wibbley's Double Cheese Burger with fries and added a house sauce to go with, as the employee mentioned that the house sauce is similar to fry sauce! YASSS! It didn't take long to get my food, as an employee brings out the food to your table and immediately, I smelled the grilled/charbroiled flavor that these burgers are known for. Seriously, there is something about charbroiled burgers that's unlike any other. I don't discriminate when it comes to how burgers are prepared, so as long as they're awesome, but charbroiled burgers just have that good ol' classic taste that reminds you of drive-ins and BBQ picnics. Ya know what I mean? Especially with the melted American cheese, shredded lettuce and house sauce just makes it perfectly familiar and freaking delicious. That's what you'll find here at Wibbley's. And those hand-cut fries were well-seasoned and crispy, making my meal complete. BUT, you must get the house sauce to go with for an extra 35 cents. As the employee who took my order mentioned to me, it does have that fry sauce taste, but there's some oomph to this house sauce, as if they add relish to it. I dunno 'bout you, but relish in a creamy sauce works. Get the house sauce, dip your fries in it and maybe even slather some on the Wibbley's burger, which already has Wibbley's sauce, but you'll want more. It's that good. Overall, for anyone who loves burgers, Wibbley's is a solid option, especially for the area. I also love that it's been around Bellevue since the '90's. Once you eat a Wibbley's burger, you'll understand why. read more

I appreciate the science here, because burgers should be balanced works of art, and you bet your first-born cattle that it is. From the first moment you bite into the burger, you realize they give care, attention, and with that beautiful swaddling, that a nicely toasted bun gives to impact that burger. It doesn't leave you stuffed because the bun doesn't fill you up like other places, there is just enough bun to be tasty, without overwhelming the burger. The Meat and Veg should be the star, and yet, there is just that hint of buttered up bun goodness, that makes it. What you don't realize is that in this strip mall, is a wonderful establishment of really friendly people, that say hello when you walk in, smile as you explore the curated menu, and finally when the food is ready, they bring it to your table. This is a place you expect, for the type of burgers they serve. It's brown, woody, and something of a tinge of country. Yes, it's not designed for large groups, but really for the people who want to enjoy a good burger with a couple friends, have a drink, and enjoy life/lunch/food. This might be the closest thing you get if you are looking for a Red Mill Burger on the east side, and that's high praise, because Red Mill burger is still one of the best in Seattle. The meat is fresh, the toppings are crisp, and the flavors are bold yet balanced. A great burger. The meat is of good quality and taste and cooked well. The options for topping are everything you typically see. I will be visiting again. The malts are really good! I had a blackberry malt and I was not only satisfied, but impressed with how well they balanced the ice cream, blackberry and malts flavors. Masterfully done! Woah!!! i tried the impossible patty on the Picante Burger, it was Bomb.com! so many Jalapeños on the burger, it was juicy and delicious. My first time having the impossible party, and it was a lot better than i expected. i also found out you can substitute the impossible patty on any burger there! makes the choices a lot better for variety for anyone not eating red meat! Definitely want to go back and try the kimchee burger, looked amazing. read more

I went here for lunch with some classmates and got the cheeseburger with a side of sweet potato fries. The place is always packed around lunch time on a Saturday, but service was still pretty fast. It's great that they have hangers for where you can place your purse or coat while you dine there. As for the food, the food was absolutely delicious! Loved the burger and sweet potato fries. The size of the burger and the amount of fries they give you is just the right amount. I definitely will be going there for lunch again and try out the other burgers. read more

If you are passing through Bellevue and looking to eat a burger, then you must stop by here. The restaurant is right off the 520 freeway and there is plenty of parking spaces available in the lot so getting here will not be a problem. The customer service is really good and I was even greeted by the owner, Daniel. He's very passionate about his burgers and he seems like a genuine person; I even saw him converse with older regulars about family and what has been going on since they last saw each other. I went with a couple of friends and we split the Century Burger, Teriyaki Burger and Cheeseburger along with fries, onion rings and fried mushrooms. All of it was delicious, but the Century Burger was the best, because I am a huge fan of blue cheese crumbles and sprouts. My friends loved the food as well. We all had big smiles on our face after the first bite and we each gave the nod of approval. The food comes out fast, the beer is local and they also have gluten free and impossible burger options. Like I said in the beginning of this review, come here if you are passing through Bellevue. They were also voted best burger in Bellevue! read more

I have yet to have a burger but Ive ordered the fish and chips a few times and they are fantastic.. The pictures make them look kind of burnt but that is just the seasoning. Great value and large portions though the fries dont do well if you are getting delivery or takeout. read more

You'll love this place if you're looking for a classic burger and fries. Kaiser bun, crisp and fresh iceberg lettuce, tomato, and onion...how could you not love it? You come in, place your order at the counter, and then grab a seat while you wait for them to bring out your order. It seems to be a frequented spot by many, but patrons cycle in and out pretty quick (at least during lunch), so seating wasn't a problem for us...although I would come earlier or later just to be safe. read more

Support local businesses! This is our go-to burger place :) Food: is amazing and always made super fresh! I can't eat that much in one sitting, so I usually either get the Chicken Sandwich or Wee Meal. I usually think grilled chicken is bland and dry at other burger places, but the ones at Wibbley's is juicy and has lots of flavor! I also really appreciate they keep the veggies nice and cold - it just gives an extra boost to the texture of the burger! The fries are on the softer side but you can request them to make them crispy. They also have sweet potato WAFFLE fries that are out of this world. Ordering: they have their own app! We used to call for to-go orders, but everything is super easy to order on the app now. Staff: the friendliest people ever. My husband and I are always excited to go to Wibbley's since we know we'll be greeted with a smile :) Cleanliness: there are hand sanitizers at each table, and the staff are quick to wipe up after customers leave their spot. EXCELLENT burgers of all types! Great shakes! Curbside pickup, too. I go there regularly. Only issue is the bistro seating and no backs on stools. But if you're doing curbside pickup, that doesn't matter. read more

Took my wife and 2 year old son to Wibbley's and had a great experience. We went for the dinner rush so it was was pretty busy in there but they handled it well. The owner was training a new chef in the back but also making sure the customers were taken care of. Kid friendly restaurant with toys for the little ones. Together we ordered the Century Burger, Fish and chips, Garlic fries, onion rings and a couple of shakes. The burger was delicious. Just the right amount of blue cheese and the bacon, come on, it's Bacon, of course it's good. Great value for $7 or whatever it was. The fish had great breading but I love panko breading. The garlic fries are also on point. Not over powering but enough to enhance the fries. Over all I highly recommend Wibbley's for a great burger fries and a shake. I had a Wibbly's burger and half french fries $9.00 The hamburger patties was slightly rare making it juicy and soft to bite down. The vegetables were freshly crisp and the buns were soft and nicely held everything together as I take a bite. Definitely would come back to try a more ambitious burger from their menu. read more

I read all the reviews on Yelp this morning and figured I would try this place out. It is set back in a strip mall kind of parking lot with their front facing the street. They have lots of seating, all bar stools with high tables and even coat racks between the tables for jackets or purses. (that's a plus!) I read that a lot of their items were good, I settled on the Fish and Chips. The man that took my order (I found out later was the owner) was really friendly. Being a little after 2 pm, there were only 2 other people in there besides me. All wrapped in their phones with slow rock playing, this place is pretty quiet. My water and food was brought to me later. I noticed that the tables are pretty bare. Only a napkin holder. I was looking around for straws or lids for my water, but did not see a station. It was not until half way through my meal that i noticed there was a condiment station near the front... and then walking back from there, there is also a condiment station in the back. The Fish and Chips were as good as the reviews. Really hot and tasty. The fries crisp and the tarter delish. I remembered that this was only a HALF order of fries. This must be like Five Guys, that one order of fries can feed a family of 5! I noticed also that the owner walked around a lot wiped down tables and counters. I thought, this is a guy who knows that appearances matter in a food establishment. I was getting up to order a Chocolate Malt (as the reviews below suggested), when the other cashier, before I had barely left my table, if I needed a box. Yes. Yes I do. And a Malt. So.... roughly 15$ later, I am full, still have half my meal and a yummy treat to go. This place was pretty good today. I hope it is always like this. read more

We arrived in Bellevue really early for our Scuba class, and decided to find somewhere close by to grab a bite. I don't know Bellevue, nor do I enjoy driving around in rush hour traffic looking for places. I wanted something very close, so I jumped on yelp for some help. I saw this place and figured it was close enough with good enough reviews to try. Thankfully it truly was close and easy to get to. My son ordered a burger, and I just ordered a side of fries and milkshake. The store was clean, employee was VERY friendly, and patient with us as we stared at the menu forever before ordering. It was quiet when we arrived, only one other person in the restaurant. They advertised heavily for being a Pokémon stop (which I could care less...but my kids do it). Service was quick, and by the time we were finished eating the place was packed. My son loved his burger, my food was good. The only thing I could find to complain about was that they didn't have ANY tables that were regular height. All bar style tables with stools....which is very difficult/ uncomfortable to sit in with my foot. So it's not handicap accessible inside. Otherwise...great little place to stop if you're looking for a burger, fries, shakes, or a beer. read more

Such good food, non-pretentious, straight forward, high quality. I am enthusiastic about this place for lots of reasons. First of all- it tasted great. Picante Burger sub grilled chicken, and fish & chips. Highly recommend the fish & chips. Thank you Wibbleys. Rather than skimping and cutting corners like many establishments, they give EXTRA/more than expected. examples would be 2 big tarter sauces with the fish and chips (don't gotta ask for more half way thru the meal!!) and a burger that says it comes with jalepenos on it having a hearty serving of jalepenos that are dispersed in every bite, not just 2 or 3 put on the sandwich for decoration. These are the little things that make a big difference! I really appreciate that they give you what you want without having to pay extra. Shakes look good. Their burgers are so neat! Okay let me clarify. No, I did not sit down and talk to my burger (aside from telling it to get in my belly.) But whoever prepared my burger made sure to place all the ingredients neatly atop the patty and made sure to spread them all evenly around. Truthfully, the neatness of the burger is how I mostly judge a restaurant and Wibbley's knocked that one out of the park! No sitting around and completely rearranging my burger here. As for the taste--it was hot, fresh, and good. They put their own sauce on the burger that is similar to thousand island and I happen to love it! The fries were thick and also super fresh. Not a huge selection of condiments to choose from for the fries, just your basic ketchup and mayo mostly. And some A1. And perhaps some other hot sauces. But all in all this is a convenient little joint to run in and grab a hot burger after working up an appetite running around and being spectacular all day, you superstar you :-) read more
