Our server was quick to greet us, brought our waters right away, and kept our drinks filled throughout the meal. I ordered the Monte Cristo, and it was fantastic. If I see a Monte Cristo on a menu, there's a good chance I'm ordering it--it always takes me back to the old Bennigan's days. Nina's version did not disappoint. My wife ordered the loaded hash brown plate with over-easy eggs. She enjoyed it, although it had quite a few onions. Overall, both meals were very good. With both entrées, a coffee, and a pomegranate mimosa, our total came to just $38.40. For the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the reasonable price, we'd definitely come back.

We were greeted immediately and we ordered two mimosas which came out promptly and very tasty. The place was filled with lively charter and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. The menu had a nice variety and it was difficult to choose. Originally I wanted a waffle but I love eggs benedict and I love smoked salmon. So I ended up getting that dish. The man got the chicken and waffles. My dish was good except the hollandaise sauce was a little off (kind of had a slightly bitter taste) the salmon was good and eggs were perfect. The man said the waffles were good but the chicken was meh (kind of dry and flavorless); I concur because I always taste hi food. The hash browns were good and again the mimosas were great. I'm glad Forney has another breakfast/brunch spot. We'll go back and try out other dishes (the burgers looked amazing) and more mimosas. We spent about $75 with tip.

The service was fast and pleasant. They send out the trays when they are ready and you keep the buzzer until you have everything. The kids loved playing at the outside connect 4, gianand corn hole. Will have to come back and check out the live music. Bill was about $135 pre-tip and, aside from the ribs, I'd order it all again.

I'm not sure what happened, if I'm being honest. Now the mochas taste warm (even if I get iced) with grainy chocolate at the bottom of the drink. The quiches are never warmed thoroughly. And if you're worried about gluten free options, do note that many of the stuff put out as gluten free has either been labeled incorrectly or has cross contamination (I have seen them touching other baked goods that were not GF). The service is friendly, but has certainly gotten slower which I don't usually mind since I'm sitting there for a while anyway. It's a cool place to sit and chat with a patio, too!

The inside has a cozy cabin feel to it, though certainly is on the colder side so make sure you have a cardigan, sweater or coat handy. I ordered their toffee nut latte with 2% milk and avocado toast. The total came out to $15 which blew my mind because the toast alone would cost that much anywhere else in Dallas. The toast was made with all fresh ingredients and was very filling. Even though I added everything bagel seasoning it still needed a bit more, so when I got home I added some chili crunch for extra oomph and it was perfect. The latte itself was just ok, pretty mild in terms of flavor...not sure if it was due to my milk or flavor choice as I normally order hazelnut lattes but wanted to try something different. Nonetheless I'm happy I came and look forward to returning, as they have so many other things I'd love to try.
