Small distillery that has an awesome outdoor seating area, live music and cornhole. Dogs were allowed on the patio area. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty crowded, but we got the last picnic table/umbrella. There was a line inside to order our drinks but it moved pretty quickly. The whiskey flight that my boyfriend tried included 5 different whiskeys that they make on site for $35. I had the cucumber cooler $12.50 and didn't like it. The melon purée that they added had too much pulp and the drink was not enjoyable. Next time, I would love to try their cucumber vodka with plain club soda. They had a large list of cocktails and you are able to purchase all of their liquors inside. They had a pulled pork station and a few other food options. Overall, it's small but very enjoyable. I like the atmosphere much more than Jones's winery since it's more laid back.

Nestled among the apple orchard the distillery is a great addition to White Hills! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I come here for the cocktails and they do not disappoint! With a wide range of spirits, there's sure to be something for everyone. You can also tailor a cocktail to your desires. They host events occasionally, I am a fan of the dinner series as they bring in a local chef who always prepares an amazing dinner line up. I love watching them grow and continue to welcome the community.

This was a great random stop a few of us did driving through the town. This is a small distillery with unique whiskey. I tried the whiskey flight which is $35. 4 of the 5 are whiskeys that were distilled from local beer. My favorite was the Red Head. They have tables outside where there is cornhole and had a live 2 person band playing. I saw they had BBQ to eat as well. Overall it was a good time and a unique place. The people were all nice and explained all the different types of liquor they had.

Love trying new distilleries and vineyards in the area but if you plan on stopping here please keep your expectations low. Atmosphere: 8/10 - Live music! Can't complain here! There was a great dou who played music from all different generations and genres. Lots of seating options with umbrellas for shade. Drinks: 4/10 - more pulp than booze. Wasn't expecting pulp to take over the base of the drinks. Food: 0/10 - We had originally inquired about buying a charcuterie board that was listed on the menu, but we're then told that wasn't an option since there was a food truck outside. The women working let us know they had assorted nuts available if we wanted a few of those though.... Food Trucks: 6/10 - Not too much to compare to since the establishment didn't provide anything. Decent pizza truck outside! For the price it was alright but consistency was not there from pizza to pizza.. that didn't stop us from ordering a few different kinds. Staff: 4/10 due to one persistent, increasingly rude women. The bus boy was very friendly! Parking: 4/10 - Big lot with lots of spots but no parking attendant so we ended up getting blocked in between 2 fences and a car. Made it very tough to leave and no one knew who the car belonged to... The Experience: We brought outside food not knowing whether or not there would be a food truck or food options here. The Facebook and website didn't provide any updates so we figured we'd rather bring something than end up drunk and hungry. Upon arriving we sat directly at the picnic tables by the band- what a cute area! As our party arrived, the women working noticed that we brought a bag a pretzels to share with the group and quick proceeded tell us that no outside food or drinks were allowed and that we should have read the sign out front... The sign was a 9x11 piece of paper stapled to the side fence (not very visible). She came over 2 more times after that to remind us that we shouldn't be having any outside food, even as we were eating the food truck pizza. Later on she approached us again to let us know that outside drinks were not allowed and that we needed to put our water bottles in the car. She proceeded to tell us there were water and cups inside that we could bring to our table. It felt like a joke when we went inside to get the water and saw that the cups were 2 oz shot glasses. Overall I'd call this place a bust, unless you're trying to get over served and hungry.

This is a nice place. I have family in the area and they've been telling me about it so I finally was able to check it out. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside at one of the many picnic tables. The drink menu changes often but the drinks use the spirits they make. The drinks were good and reasonably priced at I think $12 each. They often have live music which is nice. Food is supplied by food trucks that change daily. Only downside is that we went on a nice fall Sunday afternoon and the place also has apple and pumpkin picking as well as a bakery, so the it was crazy and parking was definitely a challenge. Otherwise we all had a nice time and I recommend it.

Enjoyed for a 40th birthday party...great information on the land and the history of White Hills. Very tasty. Did a tasting and picked 6 different liquors/moonshines. A great place to check out with friends!

When a friend of mine, who like me also enjoys bourbon, suggested StillTheOne, I was excited to pay them a visit. That visit went in unexpected directions - not bad ones fortunately. Even though they have a small parking lot, you might not be able to find a spot. In that case, be prepared to park on a side street, possibly up to a few blocks away, and then be prepared to walk uphill a couple of blocks. The tasting area is very welcoming and cozy, with seats at a small bar, "bistro barrels," some long tables and at least one really comfy sofa. The owners are really knowledgeable and friendly. They're the type of people with whom I'd enjoy sitting down and having a conversation, if they weren't already busy running the place. This was a place where I was surprised that I wasn't fond of the bourbon. The whiskey and rye were more appealing to me. But the big surprise was the honey vodka. I've never been big on vodka or vodka cocktails, and I'd never had one I'd consider sipping. This one I would. Similarly, the gin was very interesting, and this would not be a gin I'd use for traditional cocktails, but would find other options. But this is still a really neat place to visit. Once you find which liquors and cocktails you like here, I could see spending a nice amount of time here with friends.

I'm a huge fan of the 914 Bourbon and the honey vodka. If you don't like vodka - you will still like this vodka. And if you like vodka, you will be drinking this stuff neat. It's unbelievable good and really smooth. They also do karaoke nights and have food trucks on Saturday so it's just a cool place to spend some time with other friends and just enjoy an authentic distillery experience that's a short drive from some great at restaurants.

Watercure is a locally owned distillery that uses locally harvested ingredients to craft small batches of vodka, rum, whiskey, gin, bourbon, and brandy. Their website lists 20 different spirts, so they get pretty creative in the distillery. Everything is made on site, and when I asked to take a look at the sparkling silver tanks where the magic happens, our host happily obliged. They sell Apple Spice Flavored Rum, Vodka Flavored with Cucumber and Mint, Vodka Flavored with Strawberry and Rhubarb, Corn Vodka, Apple Vodka, Wheat Vodka, Shiitake Mushroom Flavored Vodka, Connecticut Corn Whisky, Barreled Aged- CT Corn Whisky, Connecticut Wheat Bourbon Whisky, Barreled Aged Gin, Gin, Rum, Brandy, McIntosh Apple Brandy, 1686 American Bourbon Whisky, Wolf Den Rye Whisky, 1701 Single Malt Whisky, Connecticut Bourbon Whisky, and Connecticut Barley Bourbon Whisky. Pretty impressive, eh? You can get a flight of four samples, or a mixed drink at their bar while you enjoy the super chill atmosphere in an old barn. We had a $14.99 flight of Cucumber and Mint Flavored Vodka, Apple Vodka, Apple Rum, and Strawberry Rhubarb Vodka (which we loved and was clearly our favored sample). As for my bourbon loving buddy, we picked up a 200 ml bottle of CT Wheat Bourbon ($59.99), and when we mentioned it was destined to be a birthday present, our host lovingly wrapped it in plastic and tied it with a pretty white bow! We had a wonderful experience out here in Pomfret Center, CT, and I bet you will too.

The Connecticut Bourbon was mildly complex with a rich brown sugar and vanilla profile and a deep oak finish. The wheat bourbon was amazingly smooth, and the Corn Whiskey, while not as complex, was solid and flavorful. The corn was my favorite!! My wife had a martini which was spot on and the mushroom vodka was killer!! The tasting room was very welcoming with a warm, wood atmosphere. They offer food, we had cheese and crackers which were priced very reasonably. We will definitely be going back for the amazing spirits and service!

When a lady came out distributing more. One serving of each was plenty for me. Shortly after I went inside to pay.
