Apple Blossom They serve those in house and you can purchase cans and growlers to go. They also serve local CT craft beer and mimosas. There's a porch, patio, and indoor area to enjoy those drinks. They also sell some locally made soaps, baked goods, and preservatives! I got a large jar of locally made honey. They also have ice cream, which I didn't try this time. I wish there was some live music here. They have board games you can play. I'm not familiar with a lot of Cideries in the area. This one is a lot of fun. Everything about The Bushy Hill Cidery is local and homemade. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Some from as far as Australia and different parts of Asia. They have a shop here with merch and different locally made items along with 3 places to buy drinks/donuts. Their most popular are their alcoholic ciders! The cider is tart and sweet, but not overly of either. Their don't is more cakey if you're into that! They also have mini golf for $12 which is a pretty good deal! There is a bunch of indoor and outdoor seating. And food trucks for lunch/dinner! Definitely a good spot for family and friends.

It kind of took away from the whole outdoor vibe. I was planning to sit out there, so that was a bit of a letdown. Inside was a pleasant surprise. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside. The bar is right at the entrance, which made it feel like a high-traffic zone, so not ideal for lingering. There was a private party in the main room, so I headed back outside to enjoy the sun. Now to the cider: I asked for 2 samples and ended up with the cider that I didn't actually choose, but hey, I'm not one to make a fuss so I went with it. The cider I wanted was actually pretty tasty, so I might return just to give the menu another try. You know how some ciders are sweet and yummy? The one I got was the kind that tastes sour but has a higher ABV. Still good, but my goal was sweet and yummy. Service was fine but not overly warm. Nothing bad, just not memorable. Would I go back? Sure, on a really nice day. If they had live music, I'd absolutely give it another shot. There's potential here, especially for cider fans, but it's not quite my go-to yet. They did have a very cool bathroom sink. Points for that!

We did a tasting of their for four regular hard ciders: Slingshot, Redfield, Rosé and Wild (sadly, they were out of ice cider). Our favorite was Slingshot-- clean, crisp flavor as described! The flight is reasonably priced at $14 and is served in the cutest glasses. Definitely will return! Hopefully we'll get to try ice cider next time!

I lived in the Bronx at that time and on the main shopping street near me was a bagel bakery-you walked in and saw the vats where they boiled them and then put them on a conveyor to bake. I started bringing home bagels for her and soon my whole family started asking me to bring some for them - next thing you know, I was bringing 12 - 13 dozen bagels whenever I drove home (I have a big family)! The bagel bakery began giving me a discount for such huge orders. The only kind I refused to bring were garlic - my car (and I) would smell like garlic long after I arrived. As wonderful as those bagels were, Blue House makes the best bagels I've ever had. And the whole Vibe there is so welcoming -always friendly and helpful staff, so many great products, and a lovely area to sit and enjoy my chai and bagel. My only "complaint" is not being able to buy their fresh bagels on Monday or Tuesday!
