I wish there was some live music here. They have board games you can play. I'm not familiar with a lot of Cideries in the area. This one is a lot of fun. B.N.D (dry) 2. Ruddy Wild (dry-cranberry) 3.Jump Start (ginger flavored) 4.Bear Essentials (local honey blend-sweet) And 2 types of apple wine: 1. Citron 2. Apple Blossom They serve those in house and you can purchase cans and growlers to go. They also serve local CT craft beer and mimosas. There's a porch, patio, and indoor area to enjoy those drinks. Hogan's Cider Mill is located on freshly cut, beautiful green grass and plenty of it, in the small, rural town of Burlington, Connecticut. If you had no idea Connecticut had a town called Burlington, well Hogan's will be your intro to it. What an absolutely adorable place and so picturesque! The truck with every imaginable sized pumpkin is so cute! Inside you'll find a little cottage store with all sorts of goodies, from local snacks, to candles, wine, hoodies, all of it. You may get your warm apple cider donut here. Upstairs is where you may get your hard apple cider, or just apple cider. There are so many nooks and crannies that are also decorated for fall, where you may enjoy your cider of choice. We brought ours outside. The donut was warm, fresh, soft and so tasty! The cider was cold and apple cidery with a bit of spike. Hogan's Cider Mill is a must visit for anyone. It kind of took away from the whole outdoor vibe. I was planning to sit out there, so that was a bit of a letdown. Inside was a pleasant surprise. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside. The bar is right at the entrance, which made it feel like a high-traffic zone, so not ideal for lingering. There was a private party in the main room, so I headed back outside to enjoy the sun. Now to the cider: I asked for 2 samples and ended up with the cider that I didn't actually choose, but hey, I'm not one to make a fuss so I went with it. The cider I wanted was actually pretty tasty, so I might return just to give the menu another try. You know how some ciders are sweet and yummy? The one I got was the kind that tastes sour but has a higher ABV. Still good, but my goal was sweet and yummy. Service was fine but not overly warm. Nothing bad, just not memorable. Would I go back? Sure, on a really nice day. If they had live music, I'd absolutely give it another shot. There's potential here, especially for cider fans, but it's not quite my go-to yet. The inside is the tasting room is chic and classy with awesome bar service. Our bartender was super friendly and helpful. We did a tasting of their for four regular hard ciders: Slingshot, Redfield, Rosé and Wild (sadly, they were out of ice cider). Our favorite was Slingshot-- clean, crisp flavor as described! The flight is reasonably priced at $14 and is served in the cutest glasses. Definitely will return! Hopefully we'll get to try ice cider next time!

The vibes and ambiance in the space are great, the bat has all the bottles on display of all the options, the menu has a great variety of unique and interesting cocktail interpretations. We got to chatting with Chris and learned so much from him, got to try so many interesting creations from Waypoint, which even led us to buying a couple bottles to take home! We now can't wait to go back again. Definitely going to be a new weekend spot when we want casual hangouts.
