I stopped in here on a Sunday when they opened at 11am to enjoy a nice day outside with some good wine. There were plenty of tables outside and parking available to allow people to space themselves out well. The person inside doing tastings and selling the wine was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had great recommendations for dry red wine and even gave a small taste before we bought a bottle. The space was cute and clearly a well run family business. Also the bottles were extremely well priced, especially in comparison to other wineries and how expensive they can be.

Ok you must consider that I'm reviewing this as a Connecticut winery. Have a had better Italian, French, and California wines?Yes, but the atmosphere here was great. It's such a cute place, and I really enjoyed my tasting. We visited three different wineries on this particular day, and I think this one was probably my favorite overall. This was our first stop on our Connecticut winery day tour (special thanks to my friend's BF for chauffeuring us around for the day). I knew I was going to love it pulling up. You drive down a long driveway through the vineyards, it's beautiful, and park next to a barn in a gravel lot. Outside in the lawn are large trees for shade with picnic tables and rocking chairs. Since this was our first stop of the day we didn't really take advantage of the outdoor area, but it was pretty I would consider making it your last stop and bringing some snacks to enjoy a bottle under the trees. We entered the winery and were greeted, and they explained a tasting would be $7, include five samples, and you get to keep the glass. An amazing deal in my opinion. Their credit card minimum is $10, so if you need to use a card bring a friend, or plan on buying something else as well. This particular day the tasting featured: *white frost: chardonnay grapes, with a hint of oak...I'm not much of a chardonnay fan, and I liked this better than a lot of the more expensive ones I've tried that people rave about *gentle shepard: another white, pretty good, but I'm more on a red kick lately *aurora: white, this one was a little too sweet for me *highland reserve: yesss, reds...I think I enjoyed this one the most. It was most similar to what I am used to drinking *marechal foch: a red with a hint of cherry at the end...good but a little on the sweet side for me *nor'easter: this seems to be a favorite here, but it was definitely too sweet for me Ok I know my wine comments actually aren't that glowing, but this review is for the winery as a whole, and I just loved it here, and that's what tastings are for, deciding what you like and what you don't. If we didn't have a few wineries ahead of us still I would have purchased a bottle of the highland reserve (the white frost if I were in the mood for white) and enjoyed it on the lawn with an amazing view of the vineyards. Instead I ended up just doing a souvenir t shirt and heading on my way. I just loved that this place was so small, and it felt like kind of a secret place. It wasn't nearly as commercial as the other wineries we visited, and I liked that. Quite and country with wine...my favorite things.

Jerram is a lovely winery in New Hartford. It is comprised of several buildings including one for wine making and a tasting room. The grounds are small, but beautiful. This winery feels much more quiet and peaceful as compared to some other wineries in the area. There are plenty of picnic tables and chairs outside, although there is limited seating inside the tasting room. The tasting is a great value-- 6 tastings and an etched glass to take home all for $7. Unfortunately, the wine falls flat for me. They all taste a little unfinished to me. My favorite was a semi-sweet white called Aurora, although I've definitely had better wines at other CT wineries.

Nice family owned Vineyard located in the New Hartford Woodlands. Good people, decent prices, and fair tasting wines. A few wines tasted of import preservatives, but overall a good time.

Only seven dollars for a wine tasting of six delicious wines and an extra one class to bring home but that's not all you're going to bring once you taste the delicious wines you'll have to buy one of those at least to enjoy when you return home!

The staff was nice enough but easily can be skipped on the wine trail- many better options are available.

The building itself has no water, so I'm not sure about restroom or if they exist. The first floor has all this cute locally made stuff, and donuts and pies. Yum. The second floor has a bar right at the top of the stairs (I suspect when they're busy a line may form there) and there are roughly three rooms with different types of tables and chairs to sit in. It IS worth getting a drink with a donut. Just grab napkins for sugar spills. My drink had the face of a Halloween pumpkin, and even though I'm not a drinker, was sweet without being toothaching and fun to drink.

Some from as far as Australia and different parts of Asia. They have a shop here with merch and different locally made items along with 3 places to buy drinks/donuts. Their most popular are their alcoholic ciders! The cider is tart and sweet, but not overly of either. Their don't is more cakey if you're into that! They also have mini golf for $12 which is a pretty good deal! There is a bunch of indoor and outdoor seating. And food trucks for lunch/dinner! Definitely a good spot for family and friends.

Bottle Stop is right between the huge Avon Goodwill Store and an auto parts dealer, and truth be told it looks small and fairly unimpressive from the parking lot. But once you go inside you'll see that the store is actually quite large and the aisles seem to go on forever. Their beer section is enormous, filling both sides of an aisle from the front of the store to the back. They sell quite a few single bottles so you can be adventurous and create your own six packs. We went to the bargain wine section and walked away with a nice Pinot Grigio for $3.99. Wandering the aisles and checking out their big inventory made me pretty sure they would have whatever I might need from a liquor store.

It was a simple issue, take back empty bottles and cans in accordance with CT Bottle Bill. The first time I tried to return very clean cans I was told they had to be in boxes not bags. The bottle bill doesn't say that. So back I went with my cans in boxes, one box had whole cans and in the other box I had crushed cans. The owner then told me he would take them this time but next time they needed to be whole cans and not crushed. The bottle bill specifically says any place selling the cans needs to take them back whole or crushed they. The owner said he had his own store policy and didn't need to take returns of crushed cans. There are lots of beer, wine and liquor stores to choose from and great customer service is the difference.
