Went for the 1st time today. They had ample parking with an attendant. There was a tasting room and an area where you can enjoy wine by the glass with charcuterie. The food menu was rather small. The appearance was welcoming with photo setups. They also had signs that gave a brief history of the family and their legacy. I only tasted one wine and was not impressed. The tasting room employees seemed a little intense, not the friendlitiest. We didn't stay long. I'd go again to do full tasting and see if I have a better experience.

Had a great time at this winery. Plenty of outdoor seating. While you can't walk around as much, the areas available to the guests are spacious. They have a wine by the glass policy of 2-3 depending on if you did a separate tasting. That didn't bother us since we knew that going in. We enjoyed the two different whites we tried (white lotus and woodlands). We also enjoyed the charcuterie plate, but we wished there were more food options. Still, a great experience with quality wines. Would certainly recommend if you are in the area!

good - the sangria and other wines they offer on the menu - charcuterie - plenty of seating - very relaxed and chill vibe bad - 2 limit pours - limited food choices Overall, the group that I went with liked it.

Our friends were raving about Jones winery and we knew we had to check it out on our last day before leaving for home at the beginning of July. I loved the quaint, family friendly feel of the place and felt very welcomed. Me and the hubby decided to do the tasting flight of 7 wines plus a complimentary wine glass after the tasting (17.95 plus tax). I liked how there was a dry and lightly sweet wine list and that we didn't have to stick to one side necessarily. Me and the hubby really enjoyed all the wines but some of my faves were Muscat Ottonel, strawberry serenade, sunshine white and blueberry bliss. A few of these are award winning wines and I can definitely understand why! We ended up buying a bottle of the Muscat Ottonel to take home and enjoy. We will definitely be back to visit and hopefully around when it's cooler weather!

This was a cute family owned business. I had an incredible time tasting wine and enjoying the outdoors. The strawberry serenade was my absolute favorite!

Obsessed with this winery!! Been two times so far and already can't wait to go back. The location is perfect and they have tons to throughout the year in addition to the winery. My favorite wine there currently is the Strawberry - SO delicious. They also have some cheese and cracker plates for purchase as well as some other small snacks.

Keep in mind that there is a "Jones Family Farm Pumpkinseed Hill" at 120 Beardsley Rd., and then the "Jones Valley Farm/Jones Winery" at 606 Walnut Tree Rd. My GPS accidentally took me to the Pumpkinseed Farm at first, but it wasn't a big deal because the winery is just a few minutes away. Once I was in the right place, a staff member greeted me and gave me the wine/food menu. They have a lot of different areas to sit, including a patio with tables/umbrellas (where they had live music playing), a pavilion with tables underneath, an upper patio that was covered by a pergola with leaves/vines on top, and an inside bar area with seating. The inside bar area has garage doors that were open, leading out to the upper patio. Even though it was a hot day, I sat under the pergola and it was surprisingly cool underneath! After sitting down, a staff member quickly came over and took my drink/food order. I tried a glass of the Sunshine White, which was delicious! It was on the sweeter side though. Keep in mind that they only sell wine by the glass on the menu, but they do have a store where you can buy bottles to go. I also ordered the Simply Cheese Plate, which came with sharp cheddar cheese, Jones Berry Chutney, and sea salt crackers. This was excellent! They also do have a "Light Fare" menu with things like a hummus plate, cheesecake, popcorn, etc. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. They had a "Bouquet Bar" set up where you could buy fresh cut flowers, as well as a small gift shop. Overall a very cool winery in Shelton, I would definitely recommend!

You can check their website for the field locations for picking, call their number for the daily crop report, and make your reservation online. We usually get the large berry box. It is quite large and takes my family of 4 adults a long time to pick, so take that into consideration when deciding what sized basket/box you get. In addition, since the large box can fit so much, be prepared to bake with your fruit or feed many hungry guests!

The wine flight did not disappoint -- we tried the red, white & a combination, all solid pours. The cheese box is necessary if you're trying the flight ( or you can bring your own food). Aquila's gives a 30-minute grace period, which helped since the area gets very dark at night and the roads are narrow. I knew ahead of time there would be a lobster food truck and a live salsa band. When you arrive, you check in with the hostess, though there's no clear hostess stand since she's stationed at the end of the bar. The inside was crowded with no available seats, but we weren't there for the band anyway. Our igloo had a heater, but two would've been ideal. They recommend bringing a blanket, which I forgot, but it wasn't too cold--around the high 40s. We tried the "Sweet Wine Flight," which included Sparkling Rosé, Moscato, and white and red wine slushies. The white wine slushy was my favorite. It started raining while we were there, and everyone with fire pits cleared out, so I was extra glad we chose an igloo. They offered a cheese box, but it looked too small, so we stuck to drinks. Our server was polite and brought everything out quickly. Reservations give you two hours, and we had a great time. I like the variety of reservation options they offer. For suggestions: it would be nice to have a real charcuterie board instead of tiny cheese and veggie boxes. The indoor space could also be larger, especially for people coming for the live band, and there are no seats around the bar. Overall, though, it's a cozy spot, and I enjoyed the experience.
