I have been going to Connecticut distilling for a couple of years now. I fell in love with it back when it was still Continuum distilling, and the quality and has stayed consistent since changing hands. They don't serve food in house but normally have a food truck on the premises. The service is always great, and the drinks are delicious. They have a fire pit going outside, and often have live music and different events they're hosting. Stop in on a Friday night for the best happy hour special in town. From 4pm-6pm for $8 you can snag a delicious cocktail from the distillery, and a beer from Brass Works Brewing next door. There's something for everyone here! Definitely add them to your list.

This was our second time at Continuum, and we had a great time relaxing here on a Friday night! They had live music and a great food truck. I appreciated that they were able to make me a mocktail version of a Cosmo, which came out great! The staff is always friendly. Such a great place to have in Waterbury!

Great spot to bring family and friends to enjoy some local spirits or mixed drinks. Brandon, owner and our personal mixologist took great care of us ordering mojitos, cocktails and drinks for all of us to enjoy! The Groupon that we found online was so helpful in letting us order the menu of all the drinks along with a flight of their spirits. We have been here during July 4th, back here for Labor Day and can't wait to be back here for the next holiday, planning for the fall/winter holidays to check out the constant rotating spirits!

If you want to find some totally refreshing cocktails, enjoy a cool ambiance and meet some amazing people then you need to check out Continuum Distilling! Everyone here is super friendly and passionate about the distillery. I tried several cocktails here but my favorite is definitely their blueberry mojito! Continuum uses only the freshest ingredients for their signature cocktails. This particular cocktail was made using their house made blueberry rum infused with blueberries locally sourced from Lyman Orchards in CT! It was so good that I had to buy a bottle of this rum to take home. The cozy ambiance is also another reason to come here! They also showcase local artists' work around their taproom! Such a community vibe here at Continuum. Totally recommend coming here to chill with friends and enjoy a delicious cocktail! Totally a gem of Waterbury! I'll definitely be back!

Awesome place owned by awesome people! The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is super friendly and inviting. The liquors they distill are of the highest quality and use fresh real ingredients. You can tell they really have a passion for what they do and care for the community. I definitely recommend stopping in and checking Continuum out!

I came here with my husband on a Saturday afternoon and was so excited to see their cocktail list. You can buy a "package" for two drinks and try out their different spirits they make. It was such a good deal and we got to keep their glasses as well. I enjoyed the tonic and lavender cocktail a lot and found it easy to drink and not too strong. The folks inside were friendly and quick to help and also brought over a food menu for us for the food truck nearby. I'd recommend a stop!

What a fun and unique experience this place is. Their knowledge of the various choices of alcohol is unparalleled. Their cocktails are unique interesting fun and delicious. What a great place to spend some time trying interesting drinks with friends. I will come here often.

Five stars as almost every beer I've tried on the tap list has been great. I especially like the beach traffic IPA and the Portland Pilsner. Very friendly and engaging bartenders and tasty sweet potato fries.

The drink menu was awesome. Creative combos but also very good. They also have a full bar of the ones listed don't hit the spot for you. It's an intimate settling with limited tables. You are definitely encouraged to sit back and enjoy the food and company as you listen to the piano player. It was a great dining experience for sure. If drinks and vibe are what you are looking for this is the place.

A new spot in the Watertown night scene, several friends suggested it would be the kind of place I…read morewould enjoy, considering my jazz background. I found myself with a hole in my social calendar one Thursday night the second week they were open, and decided to see what the buzz was all about. Their website and facebook page suggested to "dress to impress", so I dug out one of my bespoke Italian suits and found the perfect silk tie to match (lots of orange, because it was nearly Halloween) and hopped in the car to arrive early enough for the first show (they have two shows per night, 7pm and 9pm, both roughly 90 minutes). Picturing a bar-full of women in swanky gowns and men attired similarly to me, I was disappointed in finding out that substituting heels for sneakers with jeans was the norm for women, and throwing on a blazer over jeans was the standard for men. This is more a reflection of the area, than the business, and there were some couples who took this suggestion seriously, with some people dressed to the nines. The inside is gorgeous, with the lounge area filled with comfortable-looking seating areas, and a couple of tables for diners (not a lot of those, however). Paintings of legendary singers lined the walls. The bar area is sparsely decorated, and a bit too starkly lit for my taste, picturing the smoky jazz joints of my misspent youth. Lots of stools, and a beautiful stone bar top completed the look. I found a seat at the bar, and ordered a martini. No Stolichnaya available (except for raspberry) so I settled for Grey Goose instead. It was perfectly mixed, and I awaited for the piano show to begin. As they were new and starting to fill their entertainment ranks, that night they had a pianist who was auditioning. He was acceptable, with a decent voice, but lacked a lot of the spark of other performers I've seen. I have to go back another night to hear some of their other performers they have lined up. There's a menu of small plates that will fit nicely with cocktails, which is the main attraction there, with a list of seasonal offerings. Since I had already eaten, I didn't order any food, but what I saw presented to others looked good. Something for my next trip. All in all, this is someplace I will probably frequent, since it's close by, and in time, I'm sure the concept will catch on and become very popular. I'd suggest giving 88Keys a try for a special date night, or someplace to go if you're looking for a different vibe than the other entertainment venues in the area.

Everything was very clean. Parking was a bit of a struggle - there was street parking above, below, and across, and a huge lot in the back. Supposedly there's a backdoor from the lower lot - those who tried found it to be locked. The food was delicious - my local burger was cooked medium, and the fries were little circles! They were well cooked but some had much more salt then others

The menu looked pretty good so we started with some apps. Beer cheese- definitely a different twist than I expected but it was great. Very flavorful, really beer forward. The bruschetta was ridiculously amazing!! The cucumber salsa was missing something but ok, needed some acid or heat. My disappointment started when they brought out our meal, (we still had two apps to go, I hate my meal coming out with or before the rest of our apps. I had the hot honey chicken and NE Clam chowder. The chowder was brown and was not what I was looking for, I packaged up to go. It was primarily the brown I assume the roux went farther than it should have or there is something else in it.. The hot honey chicken was ok, the chicken was paper thin , tasted mostly arugula no heat, no sweet... I'd switch out the bread for a roll next time and douse it with hot sauce. The cottage fries are out of this world and I would come back for beverages and those!! My partner had the biria sandwich which was fire, also had a salad which was really good as well. The cookies are really amazing! Actual Dessert- I am struggling with we opted for the Chocolate cake which was literally melting- did not think it was ice cream so not sure why we had a puddle in a box when we got home. I want to try other things, as we had some good and some not so good, so we'll be back and update again after another try.

They have a dining room that seats about 50, and a bar that seats around eight. They also have a very cute outdoor seating area covered by a large awning. The menu is Continental cuisine leaning toward Italian, and is very well balanced where everyone should he able to find a satisfying meal. Our experience began with a couple of very unique "East Side Martinis", vodka, cucumber, muddled mint and lime.....so good I had to have a second one! We were then treated (gratis) to the absolutely best bruschetta I've ever eaten.....loaded with chopped tomato, onion, and garlic. Fantastico! For an entree I had the Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin Medallions with mashed potatoes and braised cabbage. A perfect melding of complimentary flavors. This restaurant clearly has no issues with making very flavorful choices when it comes to spices and accents. The wife had the Chicken Special with fettuccine and lemon butter white wine sauce that was also very flavorful and excellent. Everything was so good that we had to get dessert, a slice of Almond Joy pie to go. The owner, Sue, a baker / chef, is typically in attendance, and has heen running the restaurant for ten years now. Our server, Jen, was attentive and experienced. They have a Happy Hour on Monday through Friday 3 to 6 pm. I'd highly recommend this place for everyone! UPDATE: Ate the Almond Joy pie the next day. The crushed almond & chocolate crust was incredible, and the chocolate glazed coconut was delicious.
