Great time here at Meet Me Here. My aunt and uncle are pretty much regulars here and my only other experience prior to this visit was calling to buy them a gift card on the phone. During this request (I live further away), staff were so accommodating and sent the gift card for me hassle free! So after that experience I knew I was in for a treat coming here for dinner. Meet me here is super small but so cozy! We celebrated my aunt's birthday here and had a whole corner of the restaurant to ourselves. It does get loud because the space is small but it does have a nice ambiance. We ordered numerous apps, entrees and desserts. I loved their filet mignon! I ordered mine medium rare and it was cooked perfectly! So tender too and perfectly seasoned. I also loved their drinks- I got the white cranberry cosmo and a regular cosmo. And finally I got the funny bone cake. Honestly that was the most amazing dessert I've ever had out! Highly recommend! Would come here again!

My mom and I found this place a few years ago. From the outside, it looks pretty plain, but inside...WOW! It is incredibly cozy and always decorated for the seasons/holidays. The cocktails are always delicious. The food portions are HUGE and the bill doesn't break the bank. The French Onion soup is definitely a highlight; we get it almost every time we go. The staff knows my service dog by name and they are so friendly and accommodating. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Having a morning meeting that ended around lunch, I was passing by Meet Me Here and decided to finally try it. I've passed by it many times, but never had the occasion to stop. This would be as good a time as any. For a mid-week lunch period after 1pm, the restaurant was fairly busy--all the booths and most of the two-tops were taken, and after I got there, some of the larger tables filled up as well. Luckily, the bar was empty, so I seated myself there. The bartender/server, was quick to come over, put the menus in front of me, as well as the wine list and cocktail specials. After a meeting that could have been an email, the cocktails were tempting, but I settled for a glass of wine--a very nice Super Tuscan, a rarity on many wine lists. Wines by the glass are reasonably priced, and there is a great selection. No lunch specials that day, but the regular menu was interesting. Many sandwiches and burgers, a nice selection of salads, and a small, but interesting selection of entrees--nothing too heavy, but all fairly standard. The server/bartender, Sherrie, brought my wine, and I explained I'd like to sit and enjoy it for a bit before I ordered. No problem, since she was busy bringing food out to tables. Once it quieted down, and my wine glass needed a refill, I ordered: a bowl of minestrone (I rarely order soup, but it was a cold day, and minestrone is one of my favorites), and Chicken Parmesan. The soup was hot and filling, with lots of vegetables and a healthy scoop of ditalini on top, still al dente, since it wasn't sitting in the soup for hours. That was consumed quickly, and it wasn't long before the chicken was placed before me. It was a decent-sized piece of breaded chicken, over house-made fettuccine, covered with a light marinara. The chicken was tender, and not greasy, like some versions I've had in the past, the pasta was still firm, and the sauce was tasty, without being overly spiced. I've lately fallen into the bad habit of asking about desserts, and worse than that, have been ordering one. There was no dessert menu, but Sherrie was able to reel of the day's selections--all house-made. The one thing that caught my interest was the FunnyBone cake--chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, covered with a chocolate Grenache. That, and a cup of coffee (she fresh-brewed) were quickly put in front of me, and consumed even quicker. Tab was settled quickly, and I though it was quite reasonable. I definitely will keep this in my rotation of places to eat when I'm in Middlebury, with the only drawback being they're closed on Sundays, my usual day out. I should also try it for dinner some time, and see what's on that menu. I highly recommend Meet Me Here!

We've been meaning to come here for weeks and now I'm wishing we'd not put it off! We came during off hours (after one pm) so it was quiet but the service was on point and the food perfect! The appetizer of rice croquettes were like Arancini only cheesier and softer ... the creamy sauce was out of this world ... I wanted to lick that plate!!!! :) My salmon over Caesar salad was so good - Cajun but still juicy - I kept saying I was going to stop eating but finished it anyway! The Caesar was delicious! Super garlicky with just a hint of anchovies that let me know it was "real" Caesar! My daughter's burger was loaded with bacon and cooked just as she requested! The penne a la vodka was in the top 10 that we've had and we've had a lot!! Super impressed with the delicious homemade pineapple vodka cocktail!! First visit but definitely not the last. My only "complaint" was that it was a little dark ... but aside from that a perfect experience!!

Another great night here! Started with the scallops and bacon, so delicious. Was disappointed the dish only came with 3 but the sauce was very delicious. I ordered the penne ala vodka with chicken - portion was very generous and so good! I am excited to have this for leftovers! My friend ordered the beef tips with mushroom truffle sauce with fettuccine. This was the star dish! Absolutely delicious! I was so full and still went for her dish! Sadly could not get pictures of this dish because it was devoured. Excellent service like always

    Look at the tax amount!

Be aware! All of their items are even amounts which is fine! However!!! The CT tax for dining is 7.35% and our bill was $120.00 and they added $10.00 in tax. The CT tax on $120.00 is $8.82. We asked the manager and they have no idea why the register ups it to an even number. FYI manager knew the tax should be $8.82 but still gave us the bill with tax being $10.00.

This is the cutest place to come to . I have only been a few times for lunch and they have outside seating . The food is really good I have never had a bad experience.

This is a cute little Italian restaurant in Middlebury. The outside is a house and the opening is on the side. It's a small restaurant so reservations would be best. The staff are very nice and know their menu well. The cook can adjust most food to be gluten free which is awesome. The food is flavorful but could use a little salt at times but that's just me haha. The alcoholic drinks are always amazing here too! I really enjoy how cozy it is inside and how big their dishes are. I often come here with my girlfriends to catch up! Ps. I heard the bread it freshly made and delicious!

Woodbury Brewing Company is a craft brewpub that opened in Woodbury, Connecticut in December 2017…read more It was founded by friends and business partners Allan Cetrone, Tim Budrewicz, T.J. D'Alexander and Ken Mair. After he found his previous employer's ethical standards unconscionable, Cetrone decided to quit and find a new line of work. He and his friends frequently got together at a backyard barn man-cave which was complete with a fridge and kegerator. Cetrone had also been experimenting with his own homebrewed beers. Once their man cave became a popular spot for family gatherings, the four friends decided to open their own brewery. The taproom has a rustic saloon aesthetic (a nod to the friends' backyard barn man-cave) complete with a stage for live musical acts to perform. In addition to the housemade beer, WBC also serves wine, cider, craft cocktails, and a large menu of delicious food from their in-house kitchen. I recently visited Woodbury Brewing Company for the first time. I had heard that they host a lot of live music acts and I purchased a ticket to see Hudson Valley-based Rush tribute band "Limelight". I'm a HUGE Rush fan, so I was really excited to see the group perform. I arrived over an hour before the show started. I had a reserved table right by the stage. There was a modest crowd when I first arrived, but the whole taproom was packed by the time the show started. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the "Nashville Hot GIANT Chicken Sandwich" (hot honey, cajun spice, pickles, mayo) with "Sweet Potato Fries" as well as an order of "Cheese Curds" (served w/ house-made marinara). I was totally shocked when the food finally came to the table. When they say "giant chicken sandwiches", they mean GIANT! I could barely fit the sandwich into my mouth, but it was so delicious! The sweet potato fries were equally big and delicious, and the cheese curds were really good too! Throughout my visit, I enjoyed pours of "Yummy Beers" (Double New England IPA), "Collusion" (New England IPA), and "Barrel-Aged Don't Go Romanov" (Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout). They were all surprisingly good! Limelight also gave an excellent performance to the very energetic crowd. Overall, I had quite an enjoyable evening and I'll definitely be back! I already have a ticket to another show!

Really top notch. Look and feel of the holiday decorated (but not over the top) dining area made a dreary and cold night disappear. My friend and I split a calamari with hot peppers and Gorgonzola to start. Maybe the best I've ever had (although the marinara served with it is meh/bland...so I just stick to lemon). I am already planning on when I can feasibly get back there to order again. He then ordered the veggie panini with a side salad both of which looked like a work of art. I ordered the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe. My favorite combo. It was out of this world. Perfect cook on the pasta and rabe. It was warm and spicy and savory all at once. A must try. My friend and I started with a glass of wine, and the service in the beginning was good. However things quickly went downhill. This library proves you can't judge a book by its cover. We ordered the calamari appetizer. When it arrived, I opened my silverware from the napkin and discovered that my fork was filthy-- a giant glob of white, crusty food, the size of a dime, was still stuck between the prongs. I waited for my waitress to check in (she didn't deliver the food) but she never came. We tried to get the attention of another waitress and were ignored. After 10 minutes, with my calamari growing cold, I eventually walked to the bar to get a replacement. The bartended exclaimed, "Gross!" -- my sentiments exactly-- when I showed him the fork. By the time I actually sat down to eat, the calamari was cold. It was also super tough and chewy. There were hardly any peppers. We didn't eat much of it. I love French food, and I ordered the duck for dinner. I ordered it medium. When it arrived, it was cooked well done- perhaps in an oven rather than seared. I say this because the skin was not crispy and the fat had not rendered, so the skin/fat remained thick, chewy and inedible. Usually the crispy skin is the best part of duck, so I was disappointed. I had to cut off the skin and thick layer of fat to make it edible. It tasted quite gamey and there was no pink center. It came sliced into thirds, so they knew it was overcooked when they served it to me. I only ate a small portion. The rest of my dish (which came out looking stunning by the way) was also a big disappointment. Although it looked beautiful at first glance, I discovered the delicata squash still had the rough, inedible skin attached. The cherry sauce was heavy-handed and drowned my brussel sprouts, sweet potato purée and carrots to the point that all I could taste was the sauce (a thick, sugary glaze). I did my best to eat around it, because my waitress didn't check on us until much later. In fact we were basically done by the time I saw her again. I had given up at that point and left most of my food behind. There was also an issue with where we were seated. We had a small table in front of a window, but completely blocking a much larger table in a narrow corner. There was a family there when we arrived, and each time they got up to use the bathroom, I had someone's body pressed against my chair to squeeze by. A woman's behind actually grazed the back of my head at one point. When the family left, I could feel them brushing my coat off the back of my chair, resulting in them stepping on it. I can't blame them- it was a tight spot and a very awkward place for a table. I was annoyed that the waitstaff (I'm assuming) took the other chairs at my table, making a 4 seat table into a 2 seater, so I had no choice in where to sit. I didn't understand why they did this, because there was a lovely fireplace nearby and I had my back to it all night. Clearly, they weren't thinking about the dining experience from the customer's point of view. Maybe I could have switched tables but finding my waitress was like trying to find Waldo all evening, so it wasn't worth the hassle. Safe to say I won't be back. If you decide to try it out, be sure to get there early as parking is a pain to find at peak dinner hours.
