    Beet salad with blackened salmon
    Ruth N.

Great lunch location! Good service (friendly, fast and accurate), in an open and nicely decorated environment; unique artwork, decor and tableware (blue instead of boring white!) Much better than the restaurant that previously had this location. We tried the wings, beet salad, rigatoni in pink sauce and a burger! All were very good and we'd have again! The cocktail my daughter had was chocolatey, banana-y and delicious! Will definitely be back!

We tried this place based on social media sites, and we were glad we did! We got there around 7:30 pm and there was a good crowd in the dining area as well as the bar. The restaurant is Monkey themed, we asked how they got the name and they said like "Monkey in the Middle." They have board games you can play while there too. We ordered some apps, the Chicken Meatballs, Lamp Lollipops, and the Housemade Monster Mozzarella Sticks. We should Have stopped there but we didn't , the food was good and filling! We had placed our dinner order not knowing how filling the apps were going to be. We ordered the Truffalo Friend chicken sandwich with a side of homemade onion rings and the Smashburger. I should have not eaten the chicken sandwich but it looked soooo delicious and it was! I was stuffed The staff was very friendly and the decor was modern w/ monkey portraits. Overall we had a great time and a great meal.

Delicious food with generous portions. Came here with a group of four and we loved every meal and appetizer we ordered. The lamb lollipops were our favorite! I personally loved the mushroom gnocchi which I added blackened chicken to. The ambiance of this restaurant is chic and I love all the Valentines decorations and bathroom. Our only hiccup was our service was extremely slow and multiple times we had to ask another waitress walking by because our waitress was no where to be found. I would still come here though and we all had a great time.

Gnocchi in cream sauce - so good

What a wonderful dinner. Everything from the food to the service was top notch. For appetizers, I would recommend the wings and lamb lollipops. The entree portions are very generous. The winners were the gnocchi in cream sauce and mussels. The grilled chicken and burger were also very good. Can't wait to go back and try all their cocktails.

Bomb. Just go. The first 2 times I had the food here it was a DoorDash order. I knew I needed to go in person. The food, service and the vibes all hit here. My favorite is their blackened shrimp pasta.

We LOVE this place! My husband, 9 month old son Jack and I have been here at least 5 times in the last month. We cannot stay away! The food and drinks are unreal! Tonight we got the smash burger and the cauliflower appetizer. I will most likely dream of that cauliflower sauce until the next time I go back. The burger is always so flavorful and always cooked perfect. The food always comes out very hot which is important to me. The cocktails are very upscale and you can taste the love and effort that goes in to making them. Every single time we've gone, we've been greeted immediately by their very friendly, attentive staff. The owner Merlinda is constantly going above and beyond and checking to make sure all her guests are happy. 10 out of 10 experience every time we've been! The consistency is everything! See you guys soon! Ps, as a new mom, the fact that there's a changing table in the restroom is super appreciated! I never realized before motherhood just how many restaurants don't have them

Tried The Middle for the first time and had an awesome experience. This building has been so many different restaurants over the years, and this is the best one yet. A nice bar area great for watching a game, outdoor patio, and ample seating. The drinks were well crafted, and the chicken sandwich I had was juicy and delicious. The prices are fair and our server was quick and attentive. Stop in to check them out and see all they have to offer!

What a change from the old place. Bright and welcoming as soon as you walk inside. The bartender was enthusiastic and very friendly. The beer system is great, ensuring an awesome pour every time. They even nailed a N.A. espresso martini that was delightful. Honey Sriracha chicken sandwich was juicy and the power green blend on top was a magical mixture. If I differed from one thing, I would say the bun does not hold up to the sandwich. I'll be back!

Stopped in for dinner at The Middle, as we had been to the two restaurants previously here and were curious about the changes made. Definitely updated and nicely decorated for Christmas. When we walked in there was a little bit of an off putting odor, similar to bathroom cleaner, that we didn't love, but once we were seated it went away. Our server, Devin, was attentive, and food arrived quickly to the table. We found the food to all be pretty average, especially for the prices. My mom had the French onion soup, which she thought was very salty, and she didn't love the cheese they used. My dad had the prime ribeye, which was gristle-y and tough to chew. My husband had the Mac and cheese with truffalo chicken, and the breading of the chicken slid right off and was slimey. He did like the Mac and cheese itself though. I had the gemelli pasta, and some of the pasta was undercooked towards the top of the plate. Being such a thick pasta, I think they may have taken it out too soon. We won't be in a rush to return.

    Thai Crunch Salad with Shrimp

It is always difficult to find healthy good food when traveling. My husband and I had lunch at The Middle last Friday. We were greeted by the nicest of hostesses. It took us awhile to decide as the menu has a ton of great options. I had the Thai crunch salad with blackened shrimp. This salad is HUGE. But filled with fresh veggies, charred jalapenos, and crispy fried shallots. The jumbo shrimp were cooked perfectly and the dressing was light and tasty and did not drown out the veggies. My husband chose the salmon with coconut rice and mixed veggies. Again, large portion of salmon cooked the way he likes and the rice and veggies were a terrific accompaniment. We would highly recommend The Middle. Also, check out their bathrooms. Very cool!

The food is so fresh and creative with whipped Feta to roasted tomatoes. The service is quick to bring a mocktail. Love the ambiance as the post customer comments about customers favorite beets. Noemi is a great server!

Bar area with bottom's up taps and a nice selection of bourbons!

Really top notch. Look and feel of the holiday decorated (but not over the top) dining area made a dreary and cold night disappear. My friend and I split a calamari with hot peppers and Gorgonzola to start. Maybe the best I've ever had (although the marinara served with it is meh/bland...so I just stick to lemon). I am already planning on when I can feasibly get back there to order again. He then ordered the veggie panini with a side salad both of which looked like a work of art. I ordered the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe. My favorite combo. It was out of this world. Perfect cook on the pasta and rabe. It was warm and spicy and savory all at once. A must try. Next visit I'm going to be torn on pizza or pasta. Maybe I'll get both - with calamari as a staple all-time order. Go There Now Note: call for a reservation on Fri/Sat nights.

I ordered their Fagoli Soup as a starter and it was more of tomato soup and didn't really taste like Fagoli at all, but it was still decent and the portions are pretty big (but it was $8). For apps, we got their brussel sprouts which I thought were divine, crunchy and savory! We also got their cauliflower and I thought they had a nice kick to it. For my main, my friend and I split the Bolognese and The Hanger Steak. The bolognese had a nice flavor but the gnocchi was a little off and the hanger steak was delicious! And their truffle fries were a little strong but they were really good. For dessert, we got the nutella pie and that was damn good! service was relatively quick as well

I found myself with a hole in my social calendar one Thursday night the second week they were open, and decided to see what the buzz was all about. Their website and facebook page suggested to "dress to impress", so I dug out one of my bespoke Italian suits and found the perfect silk tie to match (lots of orange, because it was nearly Halloween) and hopped in the car to arrive early enough for the first show (they have two shows per night, 7pm and 9pm, both roughly 90 minutes). Picturing a bar-full of women in swanky gowns and men attired similarly to me, I was disappointed in finding out that substituting heels for sneakers with jeans was the norm for women, and throwing on a blazer over jeans was the standard for men. This is more a reflection of the area, than the business, and there were some couples who took this suggestion seriously, with some people dressed to the nines. The inside is gorgeous, with the lounge area filled with comfortable-looking seating areas, and a couple of tables for diners (not a lot of those, however). Paintings of legendary singers lined the walls. The bar area is sparsely decorated, and a bit too starkly lit for my taste, picturing the smoky jazz joints of my misspent youth. Lots of stools, and a beautiful stone bar top completed the look. I found a seat at the bar, and ordered a martini. No Stolichnaya available (except for raspberry) so I settled for Grey Goose instead. It was perfectly mixed, and I awaited for the piano show to begin. As they were new and starting to fill their entertainment ranks, that night they had a pianist who was auditioning. He was acceptable, with a decent voice, but lacked a lot of the spark of other performers I've seen. I have to go back another night to hear some of their other performers they have lined up. There's a menu of small plates that will fit nicely with cocktails, which is the main attraction there, with a list of seasonal offerings. Since I had already eaten, I didn't order any food, but what I saw presented to others looked good. Something for my next trip. All in all, this is someplace I will probably frequent, since it's close by, and in time, I'm sure the concept will catch on and become very popular. I'd suggest giving 88Keys a try for a special date night, or someplace to go if you're looking for a different vibe than the other entertainment venues in the area.

They have a dining room that seats about 50, and a bar that seats around eight. They also have a very cute outdoor seating area covered by a large awning. The menu is Continental cuisine leaning toward Italian, and is very well balanced where everyone should he able to find a satisfying meal. Our experience began with a couple of very unique "East Side Martinis", vodka, cucumber, muddled mint and lime.....so good I had to have a second one! We were then treated (gratis) to the absolutely best bruschetta I've ever eaten.....loaded with chopped tomato, onion, and garlic. Fantastico! For an entree I had the Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin Medallions with mashed potatoes and braised cabbage. A perfect melding of complimentary flavors. This restaurant clearly has no issues with making very flavorful choices when it comes to spices and accents. The wife had the Chicken Special with fettuccine and lemon butter white wine sauce that was also very flavorful and excellent. Everything was so good that we had to get dessert, a slice of Almond Joy pie to go. The owner, Sue, a baker / chef, is typically in attendance, and has heen running the restaurant for ten years now. Our server, Jen, was attentive and experienced. They have a Happy Hour on Monday through Friday 3 to 6 pm. I'd highly recommend this place for everyone! UPDATE: Ate the Almond Joy pie the next day. The crushed almond & chocolate crust was incredible, and the chocolate glazed coconut was delicious.
