Spotless as always. Ordered the usu-zh: A Number 2 (two double cheeseburgers), extra cheese & small fries. I was handed my cup and I went to futz with the soda machine. Soda machine wasn't filled with the diet syrups(), but I found a sugary soda I liked and I was good to go. Burgers were ready; I jumped up to grab the bag and unload the yumminess. Now that it cost as much to eat at WC as it does some restaurants, it is increasingly important that they get their drive through orders correct. I ordered clam strips and drove to a nice park to enjoy my lunch. Of course there was no tartar sauce so my choice was to eat them dry, and they were dry, or to drive back to WC to get my missing tartar sauce. End of story is I did neither, just tossed them and resolved this place just does not care. It was evident on the man who took my order that he did not want to be there, and really could not care less if orders were filled properly or not. My friend and I were heading back to Brooklyn after a rocking concert by Sevendust over at the Starland Ballroom in NJ and since she had not eaten and was in control of the transportation suggested the nearby IHOP. Sadly they were closed on our arrival so the brainstorming of what to nosh on at this now late hour commenced. I mentioned that perhaps Roll n Roaster was a good idea but we weren't in Brooklyn yet when she replied with is White Castle alright with you. What a silly question. Now mind you I do not indulge in the offerings from the place all that often since I am trying to control such things but tonight this was a proper idea and to the drive-thru on Hyland Blvd. we headed. There were only a couple of cars ahead of us before we were placing orders. We opted to get this stuff to go and return to our respective homes. I ordered 4 of the pepperjack cheese sliders and two of their chicken and waffle ones along with a sack of french fries. I've always loved the WC fries. My friend chowed down along the way home at the lights but I decided to wait until I was back in the Media Command HQ to relax. Overall as tasty as expected and I would save most of this for the following days lunch. I can't speak to the interior at all but the staff was fast, courteous and the order came out correctly and combined ran about $25 dollars. We ordered food via postdates on 4/22/24 after midnight. We ordered through Postmates the epic road meal which consisted of 30 burgers, sides and drinks. When the delivery came, the order we received was incorrect. We received 4 burgers, one drink and 2 sides. We called the store to follow up on the order and the employees we spoke with were rude and disrespectful. When asked for their names, they refused to provide us their names. Even one stated that he will not give us his real name and we shouldn't care to know his name. We requested for a manager and him and another lady said they were but both kept refusing to provide us their names. When asked about our order, they said they did not receive anything and we shared that they must have if an order was delivered to us. The male employee started being aggressive and rude. If could give this place zero stars I would, (Hylan Blvd and Lincoln Ave). My order (1-10-23 @ 9:05 pm) was ABSOLUTELY!! DISGUSTING!! To start the food was cold. I ordered 2 double cheese burgers, 2 fish with no cheese, and a large order of onion rings. The two fish sandwiches were a weird dark brown color as if they had been fried in dirty oil, both of them were soggy in the middle, and the bun was hard and dry and soaked with a dark brown substance ( possibly the dirty oil) . The onion rings were hard as a rock and cold as well. The double cheese burgers were cold and had hard crusty edges as if they had been sitting for a long period of time. The bag that they put my items in was previously used, you could tell because the bag was wrinkled and had grease stains on it. I made the mistake of not inspecting my order before I left the drive through. So I didnt see what I got until I got home. That place will never get another dime from me, DISGUSTING!!!!! read more

I keep giving this place chances and it always fails. Every time I order, all the items I ask for, besides the original sliders, are either "out" or will take 15 minutes to make. It's kind of ridiculous how many times this has happened and I've never been there without it happening. I used to come to this White Castle all the time as a child. Recently came back here on my visit to Staten Island and it's still the exact same. Sort of grungy, but I haven't really seen a White Castle that isn't (I've only been to like 3 on a regular basis and that I remember). There are some sketchy people here usually, but it's not too bad. You get used to it. There's always enough seating (as is the case with all White Castles I've been to). Idk why people enjoy this food. I tried it for the first time last night, not impressed at all. Chicken rings tasted like cardboard. Mozzarella sticks weren't horrible but it did feel like I was eating diabetes. I tried drowning the chicken rings in ketchup to make it bearable but that didn't work too well cause it still tasted gross.
