The new jalapeño hush puppies and cravioli were extremely over-fried, dry, and tough instead of soft and flavorful. Even the onion chips tasted old. We ended up throwing most of the food away, which says a lot. For a $30 order, this was beyond disappointing, especially with new menu items that should be coming out at their best. White Castle is one of those places that you don't set your expectations very high when you go. We came to this location and were blown away by the excellent customer service. The lady working the drive through informed us of deals on the app and even helped me use the app when I got up to the window. Most people get annoyed, take your money and send you on your way. She even invited us back. That alone makes me want to visit again. The cheese sticks were delicious and the cheeseburgers too! read more

Sometimes you have a long day of day drinking, and someone gets a random craving for staple fast food items. That's how you end up at White Castle at 12 midnight Sunday morning. I really can't say anything ultra prolific about fast food, it's enjoyable and I eat it from time to time. But I assume all have had it at one point or the other so there's nothing that I can't tell you that the reader wouldn't already know. Hats off, this place is super clean, and they even have a nice little tribute table to service men and women. They also have White Castle swag that I'm super interested in. This is a typical White Castle. Greasy food that tastes good. The staff is ALWAYS friendly at this location, I've never had a single bad experience customer service wise. Accuracy, is a different story. I always say no cheese on the chicken and waffle slider (which doesn't come with cheese but I always double verify) and it always comes with cheese anyways. This location is horrible! Went through drive-thru for a quick lunch today. Couldn't hear the lady through drive thru speaker. I only ordered a large onion chip well done and 2 original sliders. When I get to window to pay, the cashier was extremely rude. She dropped my change outside and looked at me and giggles saying one of the homeless will be happy! It was raining very heavy also. There was no one behind me so I pulled up and had to get out of my car to retrieve my $5.76. She never apologized either. I was given my food and asked if I wanted any condiments. I told her ketchup. I drove off. Shame on me for not checking my food before I pulled off because it was wrong. I received 2 fish sandwiches! How do you make the error? For fast food breakfast, this hands down has the best food down S Emerson. Food is always hot, and the ladies are always nice. I come here at minimal once a month for the past several years, and not once have had cold food or missing items (like most fast food chains)...and what's best they appear to be happy and not crabby like most places down Emerson. I ordered from the drive-up lane and moved up to the line. I was the 5th car in line. After waiting for 42 minutes, in which the cars in front of me were serviced an average of 10 minutes or so, I arrived at the window, asked if my order was ready to hand out the window, was told it was.
