In the past i have avoided this mcdonald's as I have had a bad experience and have heard about bad experiences but that was 2+ years ago in the last couple weeks I have decided to give them a try again as I work pretty close by now and each time i've been i've been over 3x my food has been hot and excellent, the staff has made sure to correct and check every item before it was handed out to me and also every customer before me the bag was stocked with napkins, my straw and condiments every time not a single item was forgotten, that's usually one of my biggest issues with fast food but the staff here is friendly helpful and on it read more

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit here today. They were friendly and quick to get us through the pay station of the drive through. Then we waited as did the 4 or 5 cars behind us. It wasn't too long but we ordered 3 fish sandwiches and fries so a longer than normal wait seemed crazy. However, the sandwiches were fresh and hot. The fries just came out of the fryer. Kinda surprised this location has such a low rating. I will say the morning crew is great and the evening crew is iffy, at least in my experience. I always get in and out quick in the morning. The morning crew always says good morning, thank you, have a nice day, etc. which isn't always common at fast food restaurants. The only issue I usually have is they don't really have a full menu posted, more like highlights. I visited this location last night and one of my double cheeseburgers were forgotten in the drive thru so I went inside and respectfully showed what I assume to be a manager my missing cheeseburger. She dug her hands in my bag, turned around grabbed the cheeseburger that was already sitting there clearly forgotten, made a rude comment and had a nasty attitude and didn't apologize. I work in food as well and I understand that mistakes are made that's why I was respectful in my confrontation, there was no reason for her to have a nasty attitude with me because of a mistake on their part. The burger was sitting right behind her clearly forgotten and a simple mistake that could have been a simple "I apologize have a good night" but instead was an interaction that ruined my night. read more

I give two stars, instead of one, because the drive thru people are usually very nice. We go to this particular McDonald's about three times a week, because it's the closest McDonalds to us, where we can get decent service fairly regularly, but there's still a lot of issues with the place. Today we went and waited about twenty minutes in the drive thru to get two absolutely disgusting iced coffees, that just had WAY too much syrup. Not a big deal. Didn't want to wait in line again, so I just took them inside. The manager, a heavy-set black lady in her thirties, continued to ignore me, so I finally called for her. As I tried to explain the issue, she just stared at me, refusing to speak. Finally she just motioned towards the trash can. I said "Throw them in there?" She just motioned again, so I did. I guess speaking to me was too much trouble. A few minutes later a kid came out and handed two solid white cups of what looked like creamer to me. When I got to the car, my wife and I tasted them and that's actually what it was, just a huge cup of creamer. There was NO COFFEE IN THE COFFEE!! I could only imagine that they were trying to send a message by making that as a replacement, so I just left and threw these in the trash. This McDonald's used to be so nice. For years we took the kids there and loved it. Now it has turned into this. I won't go there again. read more

24/7 McDonald's that has multiple drive thru lanes, because the place definitely gets busy during rush hour. McDonald's is McDonald's so I won't comment on the quality of the food, but I'm giving this specific location a 4/5 because sometimes they forget certain items like extra cheese on a sandwich, or giving me regular soda when I asked for diet, etc. I've been to some bad McDonald's restaurants and this isn't one. If I could I wouldn't give any stars. We took our granddaughters here for breakfast and not only did they charge us for water but our granddaughter's pancakes had hard spots all over the edges. I had ordered the big breakfast with hot cakes and a medium coffee since we ate in I figured no problem with the order big mistake my hotcakes were worse than our granddaughters couldn't eat them. Well, finally got a chance to visit the new McDonald's on Emerson. While I really like the color schemes, etc inside, I do have to say that I am not impressed overall. From an overall layout perspective, this is probably the most poorly designed McDonald's I've seen anywhere in the country. For starters, the men's restroom is literally directly behind the cashiers' station, separately only by a six inch thick wall. Everytime someone uses the hand dryers in the men's room it is SO LOUD you can't hear the cashier asking what you want. In fact, my wife and I were sitting half way across the restaurant and could barely hear each other over the noise from that hand dryer. There is also some really annoying loud bell that rings over near the drink station on a somewhat regular interval...seemed like every few minutes. And, again, very loud. Then, every buzzer and alert from the kitchen seems to be much louder that I recall from any other McDonald's. The seating design is an open floor plan and open layout. Seating looks nice and modern....BUT, the "open" layout is such that there are no natural sound breaks throughout the room, making this the loudest restaurant I've been in for a long time. The new design is definitely not conducive to any sort of relaxing dining atmosphere. I will likely stop in from time to time to grab a quick meal to go, but not likely to make it a dine in destination any time soon. And,one more thing...I eat a lot of salads lately. Just found out today that this McDonald's no longer carries croutons for any of their salads?! read more
