I'm sitting here at five guys downtown Indianapolis on located on East Washington Street, I just want to say the service is outstanding the food is very awesome and very outstanding the manager and the staff are very friendly and very helpful the restaurant itself is very clean very well maintained service is not a waiting game. And most restaurants in Indianapolis especially downtown there's a long waiting line most of the time. The overall I just wanted to give this review five stars and two thumbs up. So if you happen to be in the Indianapolis area stop by grab a hamburger and some fries and maybe a strawberry milkshake. After walking around the circle my friend and I walked to five guys for dinner. The place was packed. I haven't been to a five guys in a super long time because my husband hates the fries. Service was pretty good. Food prices have gone way up ( seemed almost double since my last time I've have it ). Over 24$ for a cheese burger an bacon cheese burger both single a small fry and one bottle of water. Burgers were good. Fries were good. They were busy and looked liked 3 staff on duty. My favorite are the milkshakes though, almost every time I come here I get one and it never misses, there a great treat if you have a sweet tooth. I don't normally do fast food chains but this place is my sanctuary, my office away from my office. I love this place. I go here atleast once a week. They staff is always friendly and the drink machine is always stoked. It is new and located right near Bankers Life Field House. Five Guys has the best burgers and this franchise is no different. And you get a bag of fries (Yes, please). You cant beat that. I am in heaven. Yesterday, I placed an order online for carry-out. I was given a pick-up time within less than 10 minutes and was very impressed by that. Upon arriving at the location, it was very crowded, but they got us in and out rather quickly. I had ordered a bunless burger for myself and my daughter had hers the traditional way. We both got the bacon cheeseburgers, which come with two patties. On mine, I requested extra cheese, extra lettuce, raw onions and grilled onions, pickles, mayo and A1 sauce. The lettuce, which I did not receive extra of, was completely wilted. I was so happy that I opted to have it lettuce-wrapped and placed in a bowl. Had I only had it wrapped in the wilty lettuce, I probably would not have been able to eat it. While I am always happy when a restaurant offers a lower-carb burger option, it is very important that it is well-executed. Unfortunately, since Five Guys uses foil and aluminum containers for bowls, which are both great conductors of heat, the lettuce suffers greatly. I'm also pretty sure that I didn't get any grilled onions. I searched and couldn't find one. I'm not sure that the A-1 sauce was present either. I also ordered Cajun fries, the regular or medium size. I never purchase more than one order of fries because they literally fill the bottom of your brown paper bags with an overflow of fries. Even after picking at them the entire ride home, we both still had an ample amount of fries to eat with our burgers. We'll be back, but next time, I'll stick to a classic burger until they obtain different packaging or some way to provide lettuce with a crunch. read more

Five guys is located at E Washington st corner. They have a pretty big premises. They make really good burgers and there fries are one of the best in downtown. They have 2 options to choose from regular and cajun style.i prefer cajun style more but you can't go wrong with both. There staff is very friendly. They also serve milkshakes with sone interesting flavors like peanut butter, salted carmel, oreo cookie and some other regular flavors . There are 2 soda fountains installed inside the premises with lot of flavors to choose and mix and match from. The service is fast and dont forget to try free basket of peanuts kept right near the counter where you pay and order. read more

I always only get the Little Burger because that's more than enough for me. The regular burgers come with a minimum of two patties. They have more than enough options for toppings. One of the better burger places in my opinion. Quick and good eats, what's better for a burger. Obviously so good I forgot to take my pic until after I started In on the burger. If you've never had Five Guys you're in for a treat and just go with the works for no extra cost, it might get a little easy though. Now that it's downtown and easily walkable I can walk off the huge double burger. The single burger is a great size for lunch and won't leave you nodding at your desk after lunch. Great walking location. Parking downtown, good luck. Your best bet is at the mall. The space for the line is short you'll easily be standing in the doorway or outside during lunch hour. In celebration of burger week, I decided to try Five Guys for the first time. It's a new location recently open in downtown Indy. I walked in and it was super crowded but the cashier greeted me with a friendly hello and the line moved quickly and it took about 10 minutes to get my food. Not sure of the meaning, but they offer free peanuts while you wait for your order. FREE is always good! As I was waiting for my bacon cheeseburger, I watched how meticulously the employee stacked and wrapped the burgers. I noticed a chart that they were following that tells them what type of topping go on the top bun and what toppings should go on the bottom bun.The burger was cooked just the way I like it, well done but still juicy The FRIES though were soft and greasy The hand made shakes looked really good, will have to try one on my next visit. After ordering, grabbing our drink, we waited for nearly 15 minutes for our order. I understand it takes time to cook a real burger on a grill and not in a microwave, and those seemed to be prepared as quickly as possible. After watching the manager bag the burgers, the bag sat waiting for fries for nearly 10 minutes. Patiently, I didn't say anything but it seems like the workers were in slow motion. I don't like criticizing the workers but this was beyond noticeable. Plus, the restaurant tables and floors were filthy. Cashier was very friendly - their shake machine was down which was a bit of a disappointment but I took that as a sign I didn't need it. Waited about 10-15 minutes for our food. Took it home because it was later only to find one of the two burgers we ordered was completely incorrect. Tried to call the location to have them make the correct burger so all we would have to do is pick it up and they never answered on three attempts. Friends and I decided to go here last night. 2/3 of us found hair in our food. It was absolutely disgusting.

We were supposed to give ideas of things we liked for a Secret Santa at work and on this list I had, blankets, colors and cheeseburgers. That's how this trip to Five Guys came about. I was running a little low on the funds and I remembered that I had this $10 gift card to Five Guys and the one over here on Penn just opened. So this was the perfect opportunity to go get some. I just got your basic cheeseburger with almost every topping possible and the cajun fries. I think the burgers are a little overpriced, but that's my opinion. These fries would be pretty banging, except there are A LOT of them all in the bag and they are also too greasy. Sounds like that shouldn't be a bad thing, but I just wanted to be able to carry the bag back to work without it breaking or giving me a third degree burn. Otherwise, the service was pretty top notch and very friendly. They were quick and efficient, especially for the amount of people in there at the strange hour of 11 am. So fantastic to have Five Guys directly downtown in the Mile Square! In my humble opinion this is the best French Fries of any burger chain. They also understand that malt vinegar is the bomb with hot and salty fries. This location was crazy busy at 12:15pm on a Tuesday and it's to be expected because it is a fast and delicious lunch. The wait was not too long and I'm sure the fact that is just opened added to the crowd. Burgers are made to order; served hot and tasting as delicious as ever.
