I ordered sliders with cheese and ketchup waited at the drive thru window for 3 minutes before receiving my order. Then had to blow my horn to let them know I didn't receive my drink yet. and as I drove away from the restaurant I opened my sack and I received greasy soaked bun bottoms in every carton I couldn't even pick them up without them falling apart in my hand and the meat appeared to be not thoroughly cooked This is unacceptable Louisville KY- 3705 Bardstown Rd. First time going to a White Castle and it did not live up to the hype. I should have figured as I walked in and didn't see any customers. Next thing I noticed was employees in the kitchen wearing pajamas. I had to ask for someone to take my order. After placing my order it was hard to find a clean table as you can see from the pictures. The next issue was the coke machine only having three options. I asked the girl behind the register if they had more drink options at the other machine used for drive thru and she responded with "I don't know". After staring at each other for two min I just sat down. Gods came out rather fast and had a funny stale taste. I only ate one burger and the rest went in the trash. Never again.

BBQ Brisket Slider (mehh)

Ummm ummm good nothing like sliders for breakfast, except I didn't get the plain sliders. Oh no I went all out and ordered a BBQ brisket slider $1.79 and 2 BBQ Original sliders do $0.99 The BBQ slider sure wasn't Smoque, but for a quick bite it wasn't too bad, wasn't too great either. The BBQ slider was a tasty little piece of a nutritious meal, your slider meat patty w/little crispy onion ring crust & BBQ sauce. I wanted to try the vegetarian Impossible burger, but they didn't have any (waaaahh cry me a river). What happened to the good old days when I could slam down a dozen of these sliders, NOT NO MO

Got a couple of double cheese sliders w/American cheese and fries. What's there to say? It's always done right and 2 are the perfect size. Fries were nice and crispy.

I was joking around with the manager about making me a huge burger he said, no problem, I can do it. He made me a triple jalopeño burger and it was great! I love this White Castle and it's the only one I go to. It's clean, well maintained and the staff have all been here forever, like 20+ years. They know what they are doing and there is never a long wait for service.

a tray of food including a hot dog and french fries

This location has been around my whole life. While relatives aren't around to grab a crave case, I decided I haven't been in a long long time and decided to stop in for dinner. Was doing dine-in. Food was solid. Exactly what I expected. However, the dining room was a bit dirty, was hard to find a clean booth. Also, there were no napkins available. You had to ask for them. But we were the only ones in the restaurant and it was quiet.

One star review because the wait time in the drive through lane is ridiculously long. You CAN do better

Worst place ever, prepare to be waiting for 15 to 20 minutes for a simple order like sliders.

But even 90 minutes in a car is worth it, especially if if you figure out a way to widen your journey, like combining Tony's with a trip to the Museum of Science and Industy: which is Fun & Food for the whole family. I admire 'Tony's Italian Beef' mostly because of how much I despise the many institutionalized versions of homegrown Chicago restaurants that are spreding everywhere like a virus as delicious as their food might be: - like 'Portillo's', with 112 locations and more than a dozen foid items on their menu, - or 'Buona Beef" with 36 locations and a menu of around 70 offerings, - or even 'AL's' (my favorite) owning a mere 5 stores and having just 10 or so menu listings. But 'Tony's Italian Beef' is not one of these. For them, here is here. That's it. If you aren't near Marquette Park on the South Side of Chicago, you're not anywhere near 'Tony's Italian Beef', because there is only one location. One of the best things about 'Tony's Italian Beef' is also one of the worst. The menu at 'Tony's...' is so big, and so many things look and smell so good, that once you arrive, and it's a long drive from everywhere, you start to wonder: "Maybe I should try one of these other delicious-looking items." I counted more than 120 menu choices when the listed variations are counted separately. 120! 'Tony's...' is way more than an Italian beef place. It offers chicken sandwiches, steak sandwiches, tamales, a full breakfast with pancakes, eggs, and Tony's McMuffins, fried fish, hot dogs, Polish sausages, salads, gyros, burgers, fries, shakes--the list goes on and on. Tony's owns the street it's on, with big signs offering big specials. It looks like its customer base consists of people who want a bucket of food for their family for cheap. I just don't understand why 'Tony's...' has so many options. I thought that it was due to insecurity. But after I watched customer after come in, saying "Hi" to everybody in the staff, and even giving one old guy behind the counter a hug, I realized that it was because everyone there knew everyone else, meaning that this was truly a neighborhood place. Both times that I was at 'Tony's...' everyone I saw had an Italian Beef Sandwich & Fries. There was one hot dog lover, but the tomatoes were huge and unripe, so they could hardly eat it without everything falling out. But nobody had a gyro, a burger, or a tamale. The first time at Tony's, I ordered the Italian beef, dipped heavy, with sweet peppers on top and giardiniera on the side. As a bonus, because the menu is so big, I got a tamale. I love traditional Chicago-style tamales, which are nothing like real Mexican tamales. I also got fries and a drink. My girlfriend got the chicken cutlet sandwich and a Greek salad, which made me want to throw her out the window. On my second visit, I ordered the same thing, except I got fries again. They were okay, but I've watched several videos in which people rave about Tony's hand-cut fries. They look delicious, and you can hear the crunch when people bite into them. Maybe I just caught them on an off day. The Italian beef sandwich with sweet peppers was excellent, especially with some yummy au jus on the side to make things extra wet. The giardiniera was tasty and hot, though it needed another month or so to marinate and soften. And they offered mayonnaise on their Italian beef, which is just wrong. And finally, the drive to get there was simply too long. Would I come to Tony's again? Yes, if it was closer. But there's a Portillo's five minutes from my house, so unless I'm on a job that brings me closer to Marquette Park, I probably won't return.

ONE LAST NUGGET…read more Always double-check your bag from Wendy's, in case there's a surprise nuggie at the bottom. It didn't take long after starting my new job to find the nearest distributor of chocolate Frosties. I hit up this location in Garfield Ridge for lunch every other week and the experiences have been generally pleasant, even though once they forgot a straw and on a separate visit they gave me no sauce :( You're greeted with a quartet of self-order kiosks when you walk in, but you can still place an order with a human being. I like the counter area they have by the windows facing Archer Ave. No ketchup pumps, which makes me think their condiments are behind the counter under lock & key. I recently tried the ghost pepper ranch chicken sandwich ($11 for a combo) and to their credit, it was pretty damn hot. Halfway through eating, I started seeing little horizontal lines which made me wonder if I was hallucinating or just needed new contacts. I made ample use of their Coke freestyle machine, regardless. Saucy nuggs are great, you can get them standalone or as part of a 10pc combo ($10)--I recommend the spicy honey bbq, garlic parm, and buffalo. The $5 Biggie Bag is still the best deal in town, a Jr bacon cheese with fries, 4pc nuggets and drink for a crazy low price. * TL;DR * This is a solid Wendy's with a clean dining room and quick drive-thru. I've tried to avoid going out to lunch more than once a week, and when I do, I usually only drop $5.54 (the exact cost of a Biggie Bag + tax). You can find some nice deals online, like a free 10pc nuggets when you sign up for Wendy's rewards, or $2 off a premium combo. Tip: trying to turn left onto Archer is tricky, and though you could get lucky with the flow of cars, you're much better off exiting onto Laramie and using the traffic signal.
