They need to hire like 10 people or something they are SLOW. I door dash and every time I come they say "it just came through" like how? If it took 15 minutes to get there. I am thinking of writing a letter to White Castle Corporate. I am a fan of White Castle. I live less then a mile away from this Aurora location. Yet I have to visit Naperville or Batavia when I need a slider. It has been several years since I visited this location. I recently did and I regret it. The day I went to order their 3 for $3 deal, it was in the middle of the day and maybe one person in front of me. When I entered the place, I was shocked. It is so old and very very dirty. The tables and chairs are from the 80's and are rusted and ripped. I could still ignore this since I am not eating in. But I was nervous because if the restaurant is this dirty in plain site, how about the kitchen? Regardless I still ordered my three sliders. With no one in the location at this time, it still took them 15 mins to finish my three tiny sandwiches! There was three people working. One supervisor and two kids. The two kids look like they have no motivation to work. The cashier was a girl...who had long nails and fake eye lashes. I work for a retail company with a food court. You cannot have these things on your body when you are working with food. When I finally received my food I ate one in the car right away. It was extremely dry. The buns have no been steamed and the meat was very dry too. I was very disappointed. I was hoping that this location improved so I can save the time and gas to come over here. But yeah...it is worse then I remember. Corporate, please visit this location. Maybe pay the workers a bit more so they can work harder. No excuses to have customer wait over 10 mins for their orders. read more

This location is infamous for its lack of customer service. The employees are completely uninterested and have what seems not REAL management. The kitchen and back room are filthy. No one cares. I know it's a fast food job but WOW! Good thing White Castle established its reputation a long time ago, because if this was a new restaurant it would be closed in 5 months. i have never had a visit in the drive through last less than 10 minutes... and it's not because of other cars. I order my food in advance EVERY time, give them 10 minutes longer than when the food is estimated to be ready, and when i get to the window I am still waiting. It is especially worse at night. It is rare for me to go to white castle but they have the impossible slider now and it is so good. My main gripe is that I am not acknowledged when I walk in. I know it's a busy place but at least say hi or one moment please. I even ordered online hoping to just go in and quickly pick up my order. I still waited for at least five minutes. I know it is hard to find good steady workers but this was unacceptable. I often eat here. This time I was very very disappointed. The burgers were soggy. The buns were totally wet. The tables & floor were absolutely filthy. They allow non customers to come in & use their restrooms. It wouldn't be so bad, but these people are street people. They are dirty & very smelly. Not really good for your appetite. Ok I know how does a White Castle get 5 stars. For one they are what you crave right... Well yes but in this case there is more to it then just that. This particular location goes above and beyond to give continuous great service. I eat here more then I probably should admit and most of the workers here know who I am. Not a good experience. Upon walking in, the floors were filthy, the tables dirty and the high chairs were disgustingly dirty. Our order of was completely wrong. After telling them we didn't want cheese on any of the burgers they ALL came out with cheese on them. Took them back to the counter to exchange for no cheese burgers and received no refund. The mega soda machine which is supposed to have a huge selection of soda was limited to the usual assortment. No condiments available in the dining room. Don't think we'll be back. read more

About a week after I came and was shown horrible customer service, I returned with a friend of mine, who does not have White Castle in his area, I was shown a complete change. The customer service was beyond my previous expectations (for someone working at midnight) and changed from lack of customer service to a radical customer service. My mom and I stopped here before we went shopping near the Aurora Outlet malls. I had never been to a White Castle before so we went in for their classic sliders with cheese. My mom and I split an order of our and went to our table to eat. When I opened one of the sliders I had, there was a hair in there. Things happen, I understand, so I went up to the counter, discreetly pointed to my finding and gave it back to the manager. He quickly replaced my slider with another and that was that. Now, I didn't point this out to him to embarrass him or his staff, but I was hoping for a little remorse or at least an apology, none of which I received. It was a very weird and awkward situation, essentially he was just like - okay, I'll get you another one - no harm, no foul. Which is fine, except I don't think most people would have been alright with his nonchalant behavior at someone finding a hair in their food. More than likely I won't be coming back here. read more
