New business run by a nice guy. When in the area, stop in and check out their vintage antique furniture.

The building was an old textile mill built way back in about 1814. Huge blocks of stone form the outside and impressive exposed beams and steep staircases are obvious once inside. A roaring fire and all the old wood and items gives the interior a great smell. Not nasty, stinky and musky but just old and cool. You can hear the echos of the past in here and It's still easy to imagine what this joint must have been like two hundred years ago when the mill was still operational. All kinds of sundry and interesting items are for sale. Lots of strange and unique antiques, country furniture, various collectibles and things that defy classification. Of course the inventory is always changing and you never know what you will find. The folks that work there are knowledgeable and fun and we had great conversations about antiques, history and what it must have been like to work in one of these old mills. They seem to enjoy describing and discussion some of their more bizarre finds. I like old stuff and this place is filled with it. In fact the coolest old thing is the building itself. Just so much fun to slowly walk around and look at all the idiosyncratic features of this great building while hearing the fire and the sound of the Chepachet River. Not only a great place to find some cool and unique antiques and old stuff but a building where you can still feel the history and past dripping off the walls.

Uh, no. If it wasn't a straight up lie so I'd buy a pellet stove, it's pure ignorance. If you don't know just say so. Don't make stuff up. I patiently listened to the guy try to sell me a pellet stove, then a pellet furnace, even after I clearly stated I wanted something that didn't require electricity...which I reminded him of after the furnace pitch to which he replied "just get a generator." I was gonna buy their last coal stove but no thanks. Not listening to me=no sale. I went to Fuel & Flame instead bc If they don't know something they say so, or find out, and they do not attempt to blow smoke up (you know where) or sell me crap I don't want. 3 stars because they did have the damper I needed, and the store is neat, well lit, and stocked to the ceiling with pellet stuff (if that's your bag, man.) Staff is friendly, at least. I guess the "atmospheric conditions" just weren't right for me to give 5 stars.

He never returned any calls and I was never provided clarity on delivery after several months, all while they held my $750 pre payment. Now I have been waiting for my refund to be issued and was promised it would be mailed last week, and it still has not arrived a week later. If I do not receive the refund I will have to pursue it through the AG's office

I waited months for a furniture purchase while delivery dates were missed multiple times, with delays disclosed only after I repeatedly chased the store for updates. There was zero proactive communication throughout the process. I've had the great misfortune and displeasure of having to deal with Anthony Goode, one of the proprietors. He needs to get a serious lesson in customer service and hospitality or get out of the retail business. After the second missed delivery, he was unapologetic, deflected responsibility, and refused to provide a guaranteed delivery date. When asked to put everything in writing--including delivery commitments or compensation--he insisted on phone calls only, an apparent attempt to avoid a written record. After extensive back-and-forth and continued refusal to provide basic accountability or a firm delivery date, I was forced to cancel the order. Despite this, the business has refused to issue a refund of my 50% deposit. This is an unscrupulous and deceptive business operation that avoids transparency and accountability at every turn. Save yourself the time, stress, and money--do not shop here. Buyer beware!!!

Just want to give a huge positive shout out to Nathan at BoConcept in Boston…read more I visited my son in Boston and found the store on a whim. Nathan was completely gracious and very experienced with the creative and sales process. I returned to Atlanta to share some thoughts about a sectional sofa that I saw while in Boston. Later in the week Nathan remembered me and was so helpful during the long distance purchase process. Cudos to Nathan...cant wait until the new piece is deliveded. Michel
