The Find is a great place to look for second hand furniture. Sectionals, sofa, tables etc. Lots of large pieces. Not as much fun as Stillwater, but still a good place to check out. read more

I have been shopping here for over ten years now. You can really cool furniture and knick knacks here. I bought a coffee table from here probably 12 years ago and refinished it and have bought tons of random things for myself and as gifts throughout the years. PLUS they are dog friendly!! read more

Always been happy with the price and the condition of what I bought. This time I went in because I had bought a child's wooden play highchair that was vintage. I wanted a vintage doll to go inside it and of course I found it here. They had two of them and the prices were right so I bought both of them. Sprawling antique consignments and finds. They have dish & glass ware, furniture, mirrors, and one of a kind items. Definitely worth a trip.

Unfortunately, I agree with other reviewers who notice a decline in quality of items there over the last several years AND problems with consignment. I consigned a few dozen items this past year, and will not do it again. The staff accepted my consignment of genuine antique windsor chairs last fall--after I had called to inquire about bringing them in-- but apparently never logged them into the inventory. I went a few *months* later to see what was going on. The chairs weren't even priced! Just sitting there on the showroom floor (looking handsome, making the place look good) but NOT priced and not in their inventory. A staff member let me pick them up and walk out with them just on my word that the chairs were mine: no need to prove or sign anything. Other, smaller, items that I consigned supposedly did not sell. The staff told me I should pick them up from the floor. I scoured the entire display area, several times, and could not find the missing item. When I told the staff person, she just shrugged. Didn't care that they lost my consignment. Never again. Not consigning, and not purchasing. read more

A surprisingly well thought out shop located on route 6. Mostly consignment with a large selection of furniture and smalls. Located in a converted green house and it's out buildings although the green house is still in operation on the side. Their is adequate parking but the parking lot is awful, in desperate need of resurfacing or paving. A nice place to kill an hour of so much to look at. Some "antiques" but mostly older vintage type items. Worth a visit maybe you will get lucky, prices are reasonable in most cases.? read more

I wasn't impressed. I was expecting more clothing, jewelry and designer bags (at reasonable prices. Not overpriced like the few I saw. I can buy new and those prices) there were more antiques and glassware than anything else. Some of the handmade items were nice.. this place has been on a top 10 consignment store list. I'm assuming whoever wrote that article didn't visit many other stores! It's not a bad store and the employees were friendly.. it's just misleading. Doubt I'll ever go back but if you're in the market for glass vases or an Annabelle doll lookalike, stop by. Didn't take pictures of her. read more

This is a cool little consignment shop that has a little bit of everything. They have a ton of furniture and even more little knickknacks! They also have some great antiques. They have clothes, jewelry, handbags and shoes. I couldn't believe some of the brands they had: Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Swarovski, Chamilia, Chico's, The Loft, North Face, Coach, Chamilia, White House/Black Market & many more! The way the pricing works is pretty cool. There are 3 tiers & after a few weeks and it's still not purchased it goes down and by the end of the month it goes down even more. So you kind of are taking a gamble if you wait for the price to come down. Pretty cool overall place. It's worth checking out IMO but there's also a lot of junk in these kinds of places as well- however I think this place does a pretty good job with selecting the good stuff to buy! read more

I don't know what the owners are doing but they're wrecking this place. They seem to be phasing out regular furniture (nice recent stuff at good prices) for furniture that is many decades old and I'm not talking about quality antiques, I'm talking about junk at prices that are way too high. The back greenhouse where you used to be able to find great bargains now has an overabundance of old painted furniture and a mish mash of so much stuff, you really can't peruse the offerings - it's just junk heaped on junk. The section in front of it - where they used to have great antiques has a few nice pieces but, really, who wants to buy an old icebox? How about a humongous broken dollhouse for $1500? Who has room for stuff like that in their house? The main section no longer has a glass showcase where there used to be nice jewelry and handbags. Today I saw a mountain of pillows that you can't look at without knocking them all over. There are linens in the back corner and you just can't see them because there are so many of them. I couldn't see prices on a lot of the glassware because there's so much of it packed close together and I was afraid to touch any of it because everything is so crowded. Less is more. Improve how merchandise is displayed. Say no to a lot of consignment offers. A lot of that stuff shouldn't be in there AND stock isn't turning over as well as it used to because unsold goods are not phased out (to be picked up by the owner or to be donated to charity). Now it's like a great big flea market or multi-family yard sale. I advocate that people should keep their money local and frequent area small businesses and I usually leave positive reviews. I hope the owners fix things so that they don't ruin what was once a great store. Please note - the photos posted for The Find are not that old but the place does not look like that now. It is completely changed. I was there in May and the place was great. I went back in August and the place is not good at all. read more

Had not been there in a while and decided to go look for stuff I knew they had in stock. The place was very sparsely populated compared to the last time we went. One lady was very nice that helped us. We went to check out and asked to use the restroom and was told they do not have public restrooms. Again, like Stillwater, we will never go back. What is the problem with shop owners in Northern Rhode Island and their restroom phobias?????? Maybe you should fire the employees who demand this unacceptable and irrational policy if that is the case. read more

One of my absolute FAVORITE antique and consignment shops in Rhode Island. Spacious, fresh, clean and beautifully kept and organized. 5 Stars all around. I have purchased a wonderful couch, several lamps and quite a few kitchen collectibles over the years. They offer a delivery service as well for their furniture, at a very fair price. A huge plus is that the employees are always very kind and helpful and parking is good too. :-) read more

I shopped at this store, and its' predecessor for over 20 years with many purchases made, meaning I spent a lot of money here. Then I thought I would try consigning. I have consigned at many stores over the years and always had a good experience. Apparently, The Finds policy is that you must pick up your check for items sold within 90 days or it is invalid, and they will not issue another one; so, everything I sold there they profited from. Why they can't issue checks when you go to pick them up, or reissue a check is beyond me, but they do not have any margin for error and are unbendable in their policies. I will never shop or consign there again, or recommend the place, their loss. read more

Not sure if I can express how much I love this place. I like to stop in a few times a month to see what's new. I typically never leave empty handed. My first purchase was a huge entertainment center which they had marked for 250ish. When we were loading it into the car I noticed it was Ethan Allen! I was so excited. What a score! They have a really cool shabby chic area. Which does not match with my log cabin home but I love to browse. This week I noticed they have a new miniature fairy garden area. Which I love. Once the snow goes I am getting one. If your looking for a nice ride check out the find on 6 and then check out some of the winery's and vineyards around. You will not be disappointed. read more

Man, the Find provides a lot. Antiques, consignment, a wide range of decades, delightful shopping environment in a repurposed nursery. Fabulous furniture, reasonable prices. Nice knock knacks. I have bought many lovely decorative items for my home. Also, it helps that they have uhaul rentals as you can easily furnish a home on the cheap here. read more

This is one of the nicest Antique/consignment shops I've been too. So much nice furniture, old and modern, to choose from. It is very big and spacious. Several booths that extend out into a green house. Be warned though even in 50 degree weather it was really hot inside that part. They do have fans set up, hopefully more in the summer. We are definitely going to come back and bring a bigger vehicle. My sports car doesn't have enough room for everything we wanted to buy. We'll be back to grab furniture for our new apartment! read more

It's hit or miss / but I'm not overly impressed with this consignment store lately. I stop by once a month or so. Things tend to linger that no one really wants, not enough new stuff on a regular basis. I am particularly upset that they have not updated their current hours of operation on their own website. They are currently NOT open on Mondays or Tuesday's even though website says they are. In this day and age this is inexcusable. read more

Be careful when you leave your items at The Find. I left 20+ Byers Choice Carolers there before Christmas. They sold everything except one caroler which was either lost or stolen. So we're out one of our items and were told they are not responsible. Thank God it wasn't an expensive piece of jewelry!! One of the best advertised consignment shops in the area, which is why I wanted to consign there-- Until I arrived. There were no carts to help bring in items. Staff seemed bored and uninterested. One staffer (owner?) approached barking, "No Christmas items! And definitely no Thanksgiving!" without even looking at anything. Granted, there was one ceramic turkey at the top of one of the boxes. We could have easily removed it. Today is 11/18. Too late for a complete Willow Tree Nativity set? Art? Furniture? Clothing? We never got more than the first box in to the building when the tone was so rude ("It's a week before Thanksgiving and you bring me a turkey!") that we turned around and walked out. I have been a customer here as recently as July (for furniture). I'll never go back. They have every right to curate. They have no right to berate. It was a dark, dingy reception on a dark, dingy day in what I now view as a dark, dingy store. read more
