This estate sale shop is always a pleasure to explore. Wall art, carpets, dry sink, lamps, sofas, dishes. On and on. You seriously could furnish and decorate all of your home with the items available here. Of course stock rotates often so you should stop in often. Collectibles, crystal figurines, light fixtures. Smaller items are in cabinets. Larger items are scattered over two floor and usually easily accessible. No need to 'dig through' other items. Everything is easy to see. Prices decrease the longer an item has been in stock. Some include information on it's 'new' price with their price listed for comparison. All the staff members we have interacted with over the years have been lovely. You can pick up the item yourself or pay for delivery. They have a private lot near the door and another across the street. Even if we don't find what we came looking for, with all the lovely items they have available we always leave happy.

    Scores this great find!

Awesome stuff here. I think the Yelp page is a little out of date you don't need appointment only. This is a very well-curated shop with high quality stuff that has great prices. They have home furniture and kitchen things and a bunch of stuff in between. I got a sweet mirror here (pictured). Most of their things are priced so the longer you wait, the lower the price gets. They have workers who can help carry the heavy stuff to your car. Note anything below $10 is cash only.

Buffet we bought here, along with q picture of the Boston Public Garden. Great pieces here!

I absolutely love this place! We bought a buffet and picture of the Boston Public Garden for our antique Beacon Hill home here. I am a teacher and my partner is a nurse, so we are on a budget. This place has fair prices and GREAT pieces. If you want to take the risk, wait for a piece to come down in price (weekly). Great place to come browse around.

If any thrift/antique store in R.I. deserves 5 stars it is HANDS DOWN this place. Hidden down a road where- I kid you not, I lived right across from for years without knowing about it. Two floors of absolute heaven. Furniture, glassware, trinkets, old books, pictures, odd finds, cultural vases/artwork. I could spend hours, I think I did... rummaging through this place. Beautifully open and run. Not messy or smelly. I will be back in often.

My wife and I came here on a recent weekend afternoon. It's a bit hard to find, and even harder to find parking, but once we got past that, we were generally quite impressed. In many ways, it felt more like a museum than a consignment store (and I do mean that as a compliment). The old mill building is in great condition, and it was not the least bit chilly or smelly inside. Merchandise, mostly furniture, is nicely displayed, and runs the gamut from vintage to modern. It's not overcrowded, either, like some consignment shops. There is plenty to explore, with two floors, and it's like stepping into a time machine, especially with the household items on the second floor. The wife and I recognized several items we had not seen since our childhoods! You probably won't find the deal of the century here, although prices did not seem unreasonable either, especially when you consider that vintage furniture is generally more solidly made and of better quality than new furniture. The longer merchandise sticks around, the more it gets marked down, but if you see something you like and hope to return in a month or two, there's always the chance it'll be gone.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I walk in. We don't have many shops like this out in LA so we really appreciate this kind of gem. It has the most beautiful furniture, antiques and then some. We have to protect businesses like this that are very hard to come by. Authenticity and integrity goes a long way so thank you to all of the friendly staff. Especially the dark haired woman at the front desk. I should've asked for her name but I'll for sure get it next time!

    More fabulous finds from Mike's!

Came into this store on MAY 31 and found a great Robin Egg Blue chest of drawers, but didn't have…read morehelp or access to a truck as my BF was out of town (and I was meeting him in 3 days) until we flew back 6/11. I made this clear to Lynda, the owner, and she told me no problem, I could still purchase it and come back and pick it up when we got back to town and she would make sure everything was noted. I paid the $200 and got a receipt with the phone number circled and Lynda's name written at the top for me to call and arrange the pick-up upon my return. As luck would have it, our afternoon flight on 6/11 was delayed by bad weather and we were not able to make it to the store that day. I called at noon the next day (6/12) to let Lynda know my BF would be by that afternoon to pick it up...only to be told THE CHEST OF DRAWERS HAD BEEN RE-SOLD (like, double sold, basically) TO SOMEONE ELSE THE PAST WEEKEND! Prior to my opportunity to re-iterate the arrangement we'd made, the whole thing is my fault, or at least not their problem, and it's clear Lynda 1) had zero recollection of me, my purchase or our arrangement and 2) does not properly note pick-up arrangements. First, I'm told that I did not come in within the "7-10 day window" and that this is "posted throughout the store" - um hello, I explicitly said I was out of town until 6/11, and how was this not noted on my item?! Then, I was told that people don't come back for "Layaways" regularly, in which case they sell it to someone else - wait, you call my full payment of $200 layaway?! Then she was blaming it on her "small storage area" - ok so someone's purchased property has been sitting at your store for a mere 12 DAYS (as they told you it would) and based off your "small storage area" you re-sell it to someone else for another $200?! To be frank, I don't believe they thought this was on layaway - I can't see how a consignment store would forget a $200 purchase (vs. layaway) of a Robin Egg Blue chest of drawers. I would think $200 makes a difference on the books...? Finally, they supposedly didn't have my phone number, which honestly I can't remember if I gave it to them or not. But regardless, if you are a consignment store owner who has a policy to re-sell $200 merchandise if not picked up in a very short window of time - you should get the phone number (!!!) so you can at least ensure you are an ethical store/owner and call first, before getting a double profit on a piece of used furniture. The only credit I'll give is once I got upset and refuted all of the aforementioned things she said, she finally said that it was their fault and apologized and said they should not re-sell purchased items except if it's been an exceptionally long time, and that she failed to properly note my timeframe for returning. She also offered me an additional $10 back for my trouble...??

A lil pricey but you can find some gems in there. The staff was pretty nice and the store is well…read moreorganized. There is a dressing room. Nice for a quick stop in. Jewelery counter is extensive! Only take credit cards for $20 or more. If you need a mini hunt, this is your kinda place.
