I used to love getting deals and having .99 items those days are long gone. I don't like how uppity they act now, I refuse to go back. They're even picky about what you donate now, I thought the money made helps the less fortunate, but they don't want precious donations? I'm so sad that most of these thrift stores have completely changed. They lost customers by this change. The price tags are relatively high now for used products.

However, they do not have much in sizes XL & up. It is mostly size large and under. However, I was still able to find a few good deals, but I must say the cleanliness & organization of the store is a little deceiving. The prices of the used clothing is still very high for the conditions of some of the stuff.. alot of the items you can tell are worn with lint balls but are still being sold for $12. I have gotten free stuff in better condition than alot of stuff here. The shoes, I wouldn't even touch them, they are all very worn, should be up for donation, not for sale. Like I said I was able to find 5 reasonable items. The coach wristlet for $18, a juicy couture purse with the tag still on for $16 and my daughter got 3 nice clothing items for $13, which was great. Maybe I will return here in the future to browse, but it is more for smaller woman (did not see alot of bigger men items either).

Not have to walk down a long aisle of clothes to look on the shelf above the clothing for glassware. If you're a shopper who likes semi organized merchandising, you may feel the same, but if not, don't let my review stop you. The shoes were all in disarray, toys strewn across the aisle. I made this clear to Lynda, the owner, and she told me no problem, I could still purchase it and come back and pick it up when we got back to town and she would make sure everything was noted. I paid the $200 and got a receipt with the phone number circled and Lynda's name written at the top for me to call and arrange the pick-up upon my return. As luck would have it, our afternoon flight on 6/11 was delayed by bad weather and we were not able to make it to the store that day. I called at noon the next day (6/12) to let Lynda know my BF would be by that afternoon to pick it up...only to be told THE CHEST OF DRAWERS HAD BEEN RE-SOLD (like, double sold, basically) TO SOMEONE ELSE THE PAST WEEKEND! Prior to my opportunity to re-iterate the arrangement we'd made, the whole thing is my fault, or at least not their problem, and it's clear Lynda 1) had zero recollection of me, my purchase or our arrangement and 2) does not properly note pick-up arrangements. First, I'm told that I did not come in within the "7-10 day window" and that this is "posted throughout the store" - um hello, I explicitly said I was out of town until 6/11, and how was this not noted on my item?! Then, I was told that people don't come back for "Layaways" regularly, in which case they sell it to someone else - wait, you call my full payment of $200 layaway?! Then she was blaming it on her "small storage area" - ok so someone's purchased property has been sitting at your store for a mere 12 DAYS (as they told you it would) and based off your "small storage area" you re-sell it to someone else for another $200?! To be frank, I don't believe they thought this was on layaway - I can't see how a consignment store would forget a $200 purchase (vs. layaway) of a Robin Egg Blue chest of drawers. I would think $200 makes a difference on the books...? Finally, they supposedly didn't have my phone number, which honestly I can't remember if I gave it to them or not. But regardless, if you are a consignment store owner who has a policy to re-sell $200 merchandise if not picked up in a very short window of time - you should get the phone number (!!!) so you can at least ensure you are an ethical store/owner and call first, before getting a double profit on a piece of used furniture. The only credit I'll give is once I got upset and refuted all of the aforementioned things she said, she finally said that it was their fault and apologized and said they should not re-sell purchased items except if it's been an exceptionally long time, and that she failed to properly note my timeframe for returning. She also offered me an additional $10 back for my trouble...??

I would love to find another comfortable brand of shoe that can handle long walking distances but I never seem to find much in my size. The styles are a bit pricey and too fancy for my liking plus the shoe section can be an absolute mess with shoes not in the correct spots and all over the floor. I completely disregard the clothes because a few times I've seen a sign that says an item was under $39.99 and then you look at the price tag the Nordstrom rack price tag, and it was over that amount so I was very confused by this. I also don't like the style of the clothing in here. It's just not my cup of tea but that's fine. It might be for others but they do carry the shoes that I need so that's why I continue to come here. I've also never seen an employee greet me ever only when I'm checking out. Very odd.
