They have transitioned many times and now share the shop with another shop. Inside they have a nice variety of antiques + the ladies that work there are just lovely. This is not your giant antique ware house-- but rather a place you stop in time to time to see what new/old they have. The parking lot is pretty small + you know when you see the antiques flag blowen' in the wind--they're open! They've got: Folk Dolls, Antique Hardware, Buy Antiques, Crocheted Dolls and Sell Antiques. I highly recommend stopping in to check out what they have! Selling used furniture and antiques is not a bad thing but the people who operate this establishment describe their inventory as being akin to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. It isn't. Home Again Consignment is what it is which is a used furniture store. Comparing themselves to Pottery Barn is laughable. If people want Pottery Barn furniture, they can just go to Pottery Barn, which is probably a safer bet when buying upholstered furniture since used stuff (even if it appears to be in good condition) could be harboring bed bugs. Yuk!

I can (and have ) easily spend hours going through each section browsing through all the different finds . I don't think I've ever walked out of this shop empty handed . I love how often items rotate through the store . You can always find something you weren't even looking for . Or the item you were looking for ! The check out clerks are kind and helpful . You are able to drop off larger or multiple finds at the front and they will wrap it for you when you are ready for check out ( so you don't have to carry it all through the store ) . They are also very patient when having to unlock one of the cases. The downstairs area offers bigger furniture pieces , more booths , and plenty of books . They recently added more of a coffee shop ( or how we like to call it boyfriend drop off center ) with chairs , books , chess, and other activities as another way to pass the time . They have food , baked goods , ice cream and drink options. Today I had the Chai which was a little too sweet for me ( it's a powder mix ) don't think I'll order that again... I've had their iced lattes before and those are very good . The affogato was incredible again on the sweet side but it balances well with the espresso. Each section of the store was separated by the appropriate category which made it easy to find various treasures and knick knacks. Everything was priced fairly and adequately labeled. Every staff I interacted with greeted me and was very friendly and prompt. Very glad to see Goodwill expanding its footprint while simultaneously reducing waste.

I've been to Northern Thrift a few times and each time I leave saying the same thing. Why do I go…read moreback? Everytime I go, it just feels "yucky." It feels dirty and the prices were even high today. I'm a regular thrifter so I expect some snarky responses, and that's ok because I just think this place isn't for me. If I'm going to a thrift store, (not antiquing), and I'm looking for home goods, I want to go and look for that. Not have to walk down a long aisle of clothes to look on the shelf above the clothing for glassware. If you're a shopper who likes semi organized merchandising, you may feel the same, but if not, don't let my review stop you. The shoes were all in disarray, toys strewn across the aisle.
