    Clothing and shoe rack
    Danielle D.

I will say that this place is very organized for a thrift store. They have everything lined up by sizes, even the shoes. They have a wide variety of clothing, shoes and accessories. However, they do not have much in sizes XL & up. It is mostly size large and under. However, I was still able to find a few good deals, but I must say the cleanliness & organization of the store is a little deceiving. The prices of the used clothing is still very high for the conditions of some of the stuff.. alot of the items you can tell are worn with lint balls but are still being sold for $12. I have gotten free stuff in better condition than alot of stuff here. The shoes, I wouldn't even touch them, they are all very worn, should be up for donation, not for sale. Like I said I was able to find 5 reasonable items. The coach wristlet for $18, a juicy couture purse with the tag still on for $16 and my daughter got 3 nice clothing items for $13, which was great. Maybe I will return here in the future to browse, but it is more for smaller woman (did not see alot of bigger men items either).

My last visit to Plato's Closet was strictly as a buyer. My second visit was strictly as a seller. I'll start out by saying that the staff were overall friendly and prompt. The drop off was fairly seamless and the registration is done entirely through a portal sent to you via text. The processing timeframe was very quick (one might say rushed), and processed within 45 minutes. They definitely missed a few items that met the criteria based on what I saw in the store racks and what they posted as a need online. The three tips I would recommend to sellers is get familiar with the brands they buy, pack your items neatly in either a plastic bin or tote bag, and lastly go on a week day so you have the best shot at all of your items getting a thorough review.

I would love to find another comfortable brand of shoe that can handle long walking distances but I never seem to find much in my size. The styles are a bit pricey and too fancy for my liking plus the shoe section can be an absolute mess with shoes not in the correct spots and all over the floor. I completely disregard the clothes because a few times I've seen a sign that says an item was under $39.99 and then you look at the price tag the Nordstrom rack price tag, and it was over that amount so I was very confused by this. I also don't like the style of the clothing in here. It's just not my cup of tea but that's fine. It might be for others but they do carry the shoes that I need so that's why I continue to come here. I've also never seen an employee greet me ever only when I'm checking out. Very odd.

My…read moredaughter was having her bat mitzvah and she and her friends went into Zuzus because i had always had exemplary experiences with them. When they stepped into the store the woman slithered out from the counter and immediately began using a passive aggressive tone. The girls went over to the dress section to find a gown for this joyous occasion, however the woman continued to follow them around without offering any assistance. The girls felt an impending sense of fear as this woman was practically breathing down their necks. Another customer showed up ( WITH A CHILD I MIGHT ADD) and the sales woman rushed to assist them leaving my daughter and her friends struggling to carry the dresses and find a fitting room. My daughter found a dress she loved and when she went to check out the sales woman questioned whether or not she had the funds to pay for it. My daughter was so humiliated she left and sent me later to get the dress. When i returned i discovered the evil witch of a sales associate had sold my daughter's dream dress. I would have understood the service had my daughter and her friends done anything wrong however all she did was try and find a dress. The woman did not tell them to leave and come with an adult she just proceeded with unprofessional and rude behavior. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE

My mom and I visited Zuzu's a few weeks ago while we were in the area, and I was impressed by the high quality of their garments and the warm reception we were given by one of the co-owners who happened to be working that afternoon. I was thrilled to purchase a gorgeous metallic green leather jacket, which sounds weird in theory, but is a wonderful fall staple piece that I literally cannot stop wearing! As other reviewers mentioned, this boutique is definitely in the $$$ price range, but more than worth it in terms of quality and longevity of their products. With Small Business Saturday right around the corner, Zuzu's should be at the top of your list for a visit!
