I have been both a consignor and a customer at CC for about ten years. The owner and her staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are kept accessible to all, making it a terrific spot to score an expensive look without spending an arm and a leg. Many of the pieces for sale here are as good as new: lightly worn, much loved, and high quality. I've scored many treasures here over the years! These include a pair of like-new, candy apple red patent leather Stuart Weitzman heels (still in the box!). Loved the selection and decent prices. I wish they had a mens section. Also wished they had summer items on display as I was shopping for vacation but they were well stocked with seasonal items and I snapped up a funky pair of corduroys and a book. I've driven by this place so many times and just recently had time to spare and decided to stop in and see what they had. Its a nice little store, only 2 rooms but they have quite a bit of clothing and other items packed in there. The only disappointment to me was that they only go to an XL, I can wear XL in some brands, but most of the time I need an 1X, so the lack of larger sizes is a definite drawback and there are plenty of 1X-3X women in Portsmouth that would benefit If they expanded their product/size line. The store itself was nicely laid out, very clean and well organized. They had a good variety of purses and some designer bags and they had a nice jewelry section as well. There were 2 women working, the older one was busy behind the counter and didn't acknowledge me at all, I didn't notice whether or not she greeted the other people in the store, but the younger girl was very nice and friendly and showed me a piece of jewelry and didn't even stand there and make sure I wasn't going to walk off with it. Its nice to feel trusted in a store. Because I live in the area, I'll definitely go back from time to time to check out the purses and jewelry. read more

One of my favorite consignment shops for many many years. Great staff. Diverse product.

All in all I wasn't "wowed" by this place. It was big, but I didn't see much by way of fancy dresses/gowns which is what I was looking for. The prices were very reasonable, even cheap if you go into the clearance section in the other room. I would say that if you live in the area, it's worth checking out, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to get to it. read more

The clothes were pretty good but I had a field day with the accessories! Great space, lots of cushy chairs. I took my time trying on hats, scarves and jewelry. I'm a city girl so a lot of the clothes were a little too suburban for me but found a racy dress and some flattering slacks at fair prices. read more

You can find really great clothes in here. Saleswomen are helpful and clothing racks are not overcrowded excepting sales rack. Store also has some really great book titles and fun accessories. read more
