Selling used furniture and antiques is not a bad thing but the people who operate this establishment describe their inventory as being akin to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. It isn't. Home Again Consignment is what it is which is a used furniture store. Comparing themselves to Pottery Barn is laughable. If people want Pottery Barn furniture, they can just go to Pottery Barn, which is probably a safer bet when buying upholstered furniture since used stuff (even if it appears to be in good condition) could be harboring bed bugs. The two staff at the register, presumably the owners, were very friendly and insisted I take a tootsie roll pop on my way out "everyone needs a little sugar to brighten their day".

They have transitioned many times and now share the shop with another shop. Inside they have a nice variety of antiques + the ladies that work there are just lovely. This is not your giant antique ware house-- but rather a place you stop in time to time to see what new/old they have. The parking lot is pretty small + you know when you see the antiques flag blowen' in the wind--they're open! They've got: Folk Dolls, Antique Hardware, Buy Antiques, Crocheted Dolls and Sell Antiques. I highly recommend stopping in to check out what they have! I've come across so many stores that market themselves as selling genuine "vintage" items but end up being nothing more than bargain bin thrift store castoffs that no one really wants or are just dingy, old clothes with no charm or style. This is so very NOT the case here -- I've never once been disappointed in a vintage item from Amelia.
