This store sells second hand furniture but has an identity complex. They want to be viewed as an upscale store but they certainly are not since their inventory is strictly "used." Selling used furniture and antiques is not a bad thing but the people who operate this establishment describe their inventory as being akin to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. It isn't. Home Again Consignment is what it is which is a used furniture store. Comparing themselves to Pottery Barn is laughable. If people want Pottery Barn furniture, they can just go to Pottery Barn, which is probably a safer bet when buying upholstered furniture since used stuff (even if it appears to be in good condition) could be harboring bed bugs. Beware! They have no system to track what is taken in on consignment or what is sold, according to the owner. We dropped off a set of my mother's Royal Daulton china in the spring and went back after a busy summer to have then disavow any knowledge of the china or that they even knew who we were. This is the best furniture consignment store I've ever been to the owner is clearly picky about what he takes and he has a really excellent selection of items I bought many items because they were in such excellent condition and very high-quality John the owner was really terrific and went out of his way to make sure I had a wonderful shopping experience he even packed my car with all of my treasures that had my golf clubs and cart in there -- but he managed to get everything in safe and sound I have recommended the store to many people and I can't wait to go back thank you John Laura and Lynn for a really terrific experience read more

A extremely nice consignment shop with mostly furniture and other stuff for the home. No clothes or junky stuff, just quality items and antiques. We bought some nice hanging plant holders that are unique looking without being bizarre and saw many other interesting things. The people that work there were friendly and pleasant without being pushy and the store even smelled nice . I'm not crazy about hanging around consignment shops but this one is a good place to waste some time and money. read more

Which is stupid as years of study and most doctor will tell you healthy or asymptomatic people should not wear masks as it greatly increases your chances of becoming sick. Recently purchased a kitchen table and chairs from this store and the service was outstanding. Upon entering, you think you are in someone's home. Delivery was well handled, furniture arrived wrapped and spotless. I find myself visiting several times a month, always a treasure to be found. You can't go wrong at this store. read more

I spoke with Carol and she suggested I text her photos of the items I wished to sell for quicker response. After waiting 2 days without a response I texted again to ask if they had interest in my items. I received a text telling me I would be called later that day. After waiting another 48 hours without getting a call I texted a third time asking for a simple response. I am now on day 7 waiting for this company to give me the simple courtesy of a reply. Apparently this is to much to ask. When people treat me well I tell my friends. When people don't have common courtesy and treat me with disrespect I tell people I don't know. read more

A little too many reprod antiques for my liking but the staff is super friendly. Although I didn't buy anything today, I may come back to see what they have taken in. read more

It's unfortunate that this shop obviously profiles their customers...which in the end only hurts those who consign with them. As first time home buyers, we were looking to furnish our new home with unique and affordable furniture. Unfortunately, we refuse to spend our money at a store that was stuck-up and unwelcoming. We were nut greeted...not once, no one asked us if we wanted help and that's very upsetting when we had money to spend. If you're wondering why your items might not be seeking, it's because this store is operated by elitist. The merchandise their was amazing, but we felt so intrusive on this little social club of a store that we just left instead. Put your items on Ebay, trust me, there customer service is far and away better. read more

My Great Aunt passed away and my Mother, as Executor of her will, had the responsibility of removing the furnishings and clothing from my Aunt's home. Since we live in Nevada, it was difficult for my Mother, who is 70 years young, to make continuous trips back and forth to RI. We found Home Again online and she contacted John. All went well at first. John took care of all the arrangements to remove the belongings without my Mother having to be present. She asked for one item of my Aunt's to be saved and mailed to her home address - a Hummel figurine that had much sentimental value. John promised he would take care of sending the Hummel to her. Unfortunately, this never happened. Both my Mom and I made repeated telephone calls to John with no results. This man took advantage of my Mother during her time of grief knowing she is too far away to do more than make a phone call. You should be ashamed of yourself, John. read more
