Really enjoyed my spontaneous little visit to Nava. When I spotted a cute pair of charcoal-striped, off-white jeans (wide-legged), I caved and tried them on. I didn't really think they'd work cause I'm under 5' but sales associate Sabrina urged me on. So did my daughter. Between their nods of approval and an onlooking customer commenting on how great they fit, I was sold. Love shopping at Nava cause the vibe is fun, congenial, sincere and helpful. I found a cute shirt on the sale rack and many other cute sweaters that I couldn't afford to pack for my trip home. I appreciated how helpful the staff were. I almost walked right by this adorable store but I happened to look in the windows and I'm so glad I did. I'm new to Providence and I've been looking for that cute boutique experience that I enjoyed in Boulder and this meets and exceeds my expectations. Nava has a great collection of reasonably priced clothing, just under $100 from what I was looking at, that looks more like it's from a much higher priced boutique. In addition to this nicely curated clothing collection, there's a great selection of gifts and accessories such as candles, books, jewelry, and the best Christmas ornaments I've seen in awhile. If you relish wandering around a shop filled with delicates, gifts, fashionable clothing, candles and so much more, this is it. I loved taking my time wandering through the store, talking with the staff, never feeling rushed. I was able to pour over the most intricate necklaces and charms in abundance and ask questions to the helpful staff that actually made me feel so at home we even talked inclusion (always be learning) and developing relationships with customers so they stick to what the needs of their shoppers are. This is a gem of a store, a community stockist with something for everyone. This will be a destination for me any time I visit Providence. I really enjoyed my time visiting Nava! I was assisted by Lorely who had a really good sense of style and knew how to shop for my body. I've been here before and the last person who helped me said weird things about my hair. I LOVE NAVA! One of my best friend's is a doc in Boston, working the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our group of friends wanted to send her stress relievers (bath bombs, candles, incense) as a form of encouragement and thanks for her good work. Now, I have been a long time shopper of NAVA since they were on Thayer Street, and have always found their shop inviting, and all of their staff personable and ever so helpful. I have never shopped their online store before, but today when I went online I found it extremely easy to navigate. They had so many fun products and stress relievers to send to my friend (we got lavender incense, bath bombs, and a delicious smelling candle - smelled it last time I was physically in the store), and the CUTEST cards. I even sent them a note on instagram, and they were able to write a message in the card from us and send us pictures of the cards to choose. I absolutely adore coming to this boutique! I always make sure to pop in to browse whenever I am walking down Wickenden Street. They have super unique products ranging from home decor, jewelry and clothes, and I've found some of my favorite pieces here. Not to mention their Christmas ornaments were so cute, I couldn't resist buying some! Walking through small boutiques like this has always brought me peace, and having just moved to Providence, I'm happy to have found Nava. Beautiful store but terrible customer service. One of the sales associate was so rude, answering questions with one word. Staring and rolling her eyes when I asked for further assistance. At one point she whispered into the ear of the other associate to talk down upon me and gossip. I am not sure if it was due to my identity as a person of color, but I am sad to say while I love this store they will no longer get my business until there associates become kinder, more approachable, and respectful. Had a poor experience while shopping in This store while vacationing here in Rhode Island. Store personnel never acknowledged that we entered the store or the entire time we were there. We have to walk to the register after being there for 5 minutes and it is a very small store as you can be seen anywhere within the store. The person there the day we were there was disinterested in stopping what she was doing to assist us and it appeared we were interrupting here although we were the only ones in the store so we left. The items seemed a little pricy for what they were and the selection was very limited. We live shopping independent business owners and supporting local economy but that doesn't mean they don't need to earn our business by at least providing average customer services and competitive pricing. There are many other vintage stores in the area we visited that were happy to have us stop in and assist with suggesting items based on our interest. We prefer to spend our money with those businesses. read more

Sabrina pretty much instantly figured out what i likes to wear and showed me a bunch of amazing things (I ended up buying all of it) and frequently came back to the fitting room to see if i needed anything. There's something for everybody and the prices are not at all what I expected from a curated boutique. They have a solid vintage section where I've found a few really good pieces. I lived around the corner from Nava for years, popping in periodically and admiring the cute, eclectic collection of clothes, jewelry, and gifts. I would have just left it at that until this past weekend, when I realized I was going to a steakhouse for dinner that night and all my non-workout clothes had been packed away for a move. "Go check out that store around the corner" my husband said, while I debated canceling plans. So I rather frantically show up 20 minutes before closing asking for help, seemingly unable to even describe my usual style. NAVA is my favorite store in Providence! I've had numerous awesome experiences here. I love their plants, rugs, clothes, jewelry...the list goes on and on. It's such a visually pleasing store, and I LOVE being in there. Last weekend I rushed in to buy a dress for a wedding that was taking place an hour later. Both Sabrina and Ali were extremely helpful! They stopped what they were doing and they were on the job-pulling dresses and jewelry for me. I've been shopping at NAVA since they were over on Thayer Street years ago, but in the last two years it's become my go to spot when I want some retail therapy. The store is bright and open with seriously inviting displays. I buy incense and candles from here pretty much exclusively now because the store always smells so good. I have a totally different experience with customer service here. The staff is super helpful and knows how to read a room - if you're chatty they'll be the same but if you don't want to talk they'll let you browse in peace. I shopped at the store enough by now that the staff started to know me and help me find pieces I loved, which is a rare experience in a lot of boutiques. I am not a big spender, nor am I the trendiest, but I feel like NAVA has something for everyone. Clothes are very cute- trendy and stylish. They cater to a range of tastes and body types, and the store is decorated beautifully. Unfortunately the woman (who seems to be always working) is extremely unwelcoming and rude and has prevented me from buying things in the store on multiple occasions because of how rude she was. I can't tell if it is some personal vendetta against me (as I have been there a handful of times) or this is the way she treats all customers. Doesn't greet you when you go in, and when she comes around to ask if you want a dressing room seems extremely exasperated and annoyed you were even in there. I have been shopping at NAVA for over five years. The first time I stopped in I purchased a cozy, warm sweater, which is still in great condition. It quickly became my go-to clothing store. NAVA poured its heart and soul into their new location on Wickenden street. The shop is beautifully decorated with all sorts of lights, prints, and other eclectic wall accents, which are available to purchase. With gorgeous new and vintage apparel for men and women, hair accessories, jewelry, shoes, home accessories, and more, it's hard to leave empty handed.
