I love, love, LOVE this place and I do not let a week go by without checking it out. Why? They turn items over so quickly then refill with new stuff! Prices are very fair, so do not try to work staff over for lower prices (that automatically reduce month to month). I have been a loyal customer to the corner cupboard for over 25 yrs and have developed which I thought was a wonderful relationship with both owners Marsha and Darylynn. I have had a special fondness to both. I recently consigned merchandise to them and picked up a check of 104.00 for merchandise sold during the month of April and early may. I unfortunately have misplaced the check and searched everywhere but was unable to find it. I decided to go back to the store and talk to Marsha to explain my dilemma. I was very surprised as to how she responded. She spoke to me like a bad child and proceeded to tell me that she would not issue or cancel the check that was lost. She began to tell me to pray to St Anthony! I could not believe what I was hearing ! That was her solution to the problem to pray to a saint! After all these years of patronizing her business and thinking so highly of her. I also run a business and could never imagine treating my loyal and not so loyal customers like this. I am very hurt and surprised how I was treated after all these years. I will never shop or do business with the corner cupboard again. read more

This is my favorite antique shop. I love the vintage jewelry. I can always find something unique that I just gotta have. Many of my family members are collectors and so I'm usually on the look out for a special gift and this shop doesn't disappoint. Very good turn over and pricest are right. This place is the best. Prices are right on and so reasonable. The only place around that actually prices to turn things over not to keep the same things in their store time and time again. I love this shop! I live in MA and always go out of my way to shop there. I find the staff friendly and helpful. I have never been in where I haven't come out with something and the prices are good. My only complaint is they don't have a recorded message stating their hours. I have been trying to reach them and no one is answering the phone! read more

The prices for sales aren't bad, but I must admit that I'm surprised they're still in business after seeing how they treat consignors! After waiting over an hour to drop off a few things, I was subjected to mutterings as the the unlikelihood of my things selling, and 'I should've sorted' this and that before I came, to avoid waisting their time. How would a first time consignor know what it is they're looking for ... and wouldn't their 50% (or more) profit cover a minor inconvenience? read more

Had a bad experience. I called and was told to bring in items to consign anytime between 10am and 2pm excluding Tuesdays and Sundays. Showed up on a Monday at noon and was basically given the bum's rush. Told they were too busy. I suggested leaving my one item to add to my existing account, and that I'd call back later to see how much it was priced at--but was told that wasn't possible. Called a few days later and was told they were still too busy to take my item that day. I'm going elsewhere where they have the staff and the time to devote to customers. read more
