Nitta has been in the lash industry for 6 years. I've known her for almost 10 years personally and she is already such an amazing person but also an amazing teacher. I had such an AMAZING 1 on 1 lash training with Nitta. She is extremely professional, intellectual, nurturing, and supportive when teaching you her special lash techniques. She is EXTREMELY detailed and passionate about lashes. I felt like I learned so much from the two day 1 on 1 lash training. I HIGHLY recommend signing up for the 1 on 1 training to really grasp all of the pertinent information she provides.

Nitta is the only person I have 3ver gone to for my lashes. A coworker referred me a couple of years ago and I never looked back! If you are in Los Angeles, just don't even look anywhere else. Go to whipped lash for natural but luxurious lashes. I get so many compliments on my lashes. If you are worries about COVID compliance, don't. During my most recent appointment, which was yesterday, the health department was present to complete their inspection and I heard with my own 2 ears that Nittany in in compliance with COVID guidelines. Everyone wears a masks, no ifs, ands or buts about it, which is reassuring.

3 lashes stuck to one extension... I thought it was suppose to be 1:1. There were many like this. Falling out within 1-2 weeks

The first time I came here in the beginning of 2019 I was very impressed with her work. At first I was shocked by the price and the time it took but once I got it done it was the best lashes I had ever had and it was so worth it! They lasted almost 2 months! At the end of the year I came back for another set. This time nitta was at a new location. She shorted me over 30 mins of the time per the price i paid. The lashes were going in all sorts of directions. Within 1 week most had fallen out. I noticed as they fell out there would be one extension stuck to several lashes. I was under the impression it was suppose to be 1:1. I was upset the day I left the salon when I realized she spent less than 60 mins for a full set when I was paying for a 90min set. It had been over 6 months since my last appointment so can't say that I had less lashes to put on or anything. Maybe it's because I didn't tip enough last time? I mean I am already paying a very high amount for lashes here.... I can't afford to tip a high amount too. Kinda like if I went for a 1 hour Chinese massage for 20$ I'd tip $10 but if I went to glen ivy For a $200 massage I'd still tip $10z Also one more note. If you are looking for a relaxing experience this salon is not the place to go. Nita plays really loud rap music. I had gotten lash extensions in the past like 5 years before this and use to fall asleep.... there was no chance of that here.

I have an addiction for eyelashes I have been using eyelashes extensions for about 2 years but Have been with whipped lash for about three months The happiest three months of my eyes LOL FOR REAL this is the best place for eyelashes!! I am so lucky that I live around this place and I can go walking I have booked with all of the girls who work here because I always take any spot is available cause due to my schedules I don't have so much time so after going with all the girls who work here now I know with who my eyelashes have been perfect , my eyes do not burn like in other places in the past when they apply the eyelashes My fav are , Jenny and Nita When they do my eyelashes they last for a really long time almost three weeks with more than a 70% of my eyelashes. For me it's a little bit annoying the fact they only accept cash payment Because I never have cash On me I always use my card zelle Venmo or Apple Pay all the time and I always have to go the atm and get cash specifically to have my lashes done , but anyway Is their policy and they do a great job I never took a picture right after having my lashes done But this pictures like I said was taken three after my appointment and my lashes look beautiful, no perfect but like I said three weeks after having them done.

Nitta is amazing and always keeps my lashes on point. It's the curl and dark lash line that is so fire. She specializes in classics, so if you're trying to look like a little baddie with a natural look she's your girl. She really knows her stuff each appointment she gives me a break down of what my lashes are doing and what is best for them at the moment. She worked with me and listened to all of my feedback each round until we found the perfect lash style and I'm obsessed. She does book up fast but it's because she's that good. I recommend Nitta to everyone I know so try her out. Super chill girl, chill vibe and good music always playing. She has those throwbacks that'll put you in your feels. By far the best place for lash extensions!! Nitta is very sweet! She gives you a consultation on what you like/dislike about lashes and even explains the difference in length/thickness of each lash which I've never experienced before with other lash techs. It's my first time getting eyelash extensions and I was hesitant about it because I read articles about possible infections, fall out etc. but Nitta was super helpful with educating me on eyelash care and expectations. She accommodated to my lifestyle and eye shape. Immediately walking into the salon it was super cute, clean with a laid back attitude. The tables to lay down are so comfortable I swear my body felt like it was on a cloud, it didn't even feel like 2 hours. My coworkers were mesmerized by my eyes lol they didn't know if it was a new mascara or extensions! I like that I don't wear any makeup and I still feel fabulous. On my refill I worked with Gigi and she is just as amazing as Nitta. Gigi is easy to talk to, and made me look great again. I normally like my lashes super long and super dramatic and full. I don't mind if it touches my brows. But after trying out nitta when my regular lash girl wasn't available...she blew me away. I never really paid attention to curl and how it made such differences in my eyes. I guess I was using c curl. And she took the time to show me comparisons in different types. I now only use D curl instead of C's and have reduced my lengths from 14s & 15s, to 13s being my longest. The curl made all the difference and gave the illusion of the length& fullness I was looking for. She's really crafty while making sure my real lashes aren't compromised. I liked that! read more

NITTA saved my eyelashes!!!! I literally gave her a call 30 mins after I got my extensions w/ someone else. Not kidding! LOL Initially, my plan was to get lashes this week after 2 years of not having any on. I went to get my lashes done with someone who offered to do them since they were beginning their eyelash business. I kid you not, she stuck the eyelashes on my skin! Welp! My eyes were burning, itching and stinging. I didn't have the heart to tell her that she f***** up my eyelashes so I called Nitta since I had her on my yelp bookmarks. I'm so glad I gave her a call dude. She salvage my lashes... & let me tell you..... it didn't take 20 mins for removal. IT TOOK HER 2 HOURS!! That's how bad my eyes were. She saved me. I can't wait for her to do my lashesss! She throughly went through the application of lashes and how mine were not isolated as they should be. If only I could show you the bad job. I can laugh about it now since the pain and redness is gone, LOL. For anyone who's had a bad experience, you have to go to Nitta. She's very good at communicating and professional with her work. I came to Nitta for her group class on November of this year, and honestly she has been my backbone through this whole journey! She teaches her class with such a passion for you to succeed in your own lash business. I can not thank her enough for what she's has taught me, and is continuing to teach me because I honestly could text her at 10pm at night and she will reply to me within minutes answering my crazy questions! One star because my lash extensions didn't even last two days they started falling out like crazy and when I when to make an appointment apparently it wasn't "confirmed" so when I texted to reschedule we were texting back and fourth and when I told her what days work best for me she never responded I texted 4 times and sent pictures of how bad my eyelashes looked. I spent $140 for my lash extensions to last TWO DAYS. I am beyond disappointed. Nitta is the absolute best hands down. She is patient and extremely knowledgeable about her craft. Nitta introduced me to eyelash extensions and now I can't be without them. I live in Indio so it's hard to get my lashes done. I got my lashes done by a local lash girl here and absolutely regretted. Never will I get lash extensions by anybody else but Nitta again. She takes her time and triple checks her work to make sure she gets every lash that she can! She is thorough! She is also quick but provides quality work. Before she starts lashing she asks you for your input and tailors your lashes to your eye shape and desire. This place is hands down the best! It's super cute and clean inside. The ladies are all so welcoming and nice, especially the owner Nitta! She's helped me reschedule a couple of times and has always been so understanding and easy to work with. I see Jenny regularly and I cannot recommend her enough! She is extremely meticulous and so fun to talk with as well. I constantly get compliments on my lashes, and people who do not know me think they're real! Everyone says they look so natural and so good. I get compliments literally everyday - from the day I get them filled until my next appointment 3 weeks later! History

Established in 2018.

My name is nitta. I am a California licensed esthetician as well as a certified lash artist. I’ve also shadowed working close to top awarded lash artists in the Southern California area. I’ve been playing with lash application for a little over 7 years now. I truly get a thrill out of making my clients feel beautiful. It’s therapeutic for the client to lay comfortably as it is therapeutic for me to do the applying. I look forward to this downey location bringing upon amazing results as I showcase my skills.

Meet the Business Owner: WHIPPEDLASH S.

I earned a Bachelors of Science in Public Health in 2016 from California State University of Los Angeles. I’ve worked with behavioral therapy, in banking, as well as retail management prior to setting out a career in the beauty industry. Eyelash servicing is something I’ve loved from the very beginning as a hobby and now I’ve completely transformed it into my fun filled full time career!

I did not receive the service I paid for, and the proposed resolution did not address the quality or customer care concerns I reported.

This review is long overdue! After taking a mediocre lash course with someone else, I felt that I was still lacking in being fully educated about eyelash extensions. I had the chance to have a refresher course with Nitta and let me say that she is highly knowledgeable, detailed, and VERY professional! She gave me tips and tricks that have allowed me to improve on my lash sets. If you are looking to learn the art of classic eyelash extensions or need a refresher course I highly recommended training with her...you will not be disappointed! Also, she will be opening her own lash studio so be on the lookout for that. =] read more

I've been having Nitta service me for about two years now! I will never trust anyone else with my lash extensions. I LOVE Them long but she advise me shorter and classier lash styles not only retain better but also it made my lashes look more appropriate for my age And eye shape. She's truly gifted.
