Excellent service! The owner and the employees alike are all friendly, and are quick to turn orders around. I probably spend more time figuring out what sandwich I want than actually waiting to get it. The food is great, too. I don't think I've ever had a sandwich here that I've regretted. A great place for lunch! read more

Came at ~5:45pm and we're told they were closing in eleven minutes despite hours stating 9pm. Apparently they only had cold sandwiches? Don't know if something broke or it was because they were close to closing. The two people working seemed to be encouraging us to leave, they just wanted to go home. Waste of time and lazy/rude staff. read more

Which Wich - The Wicked - Sandwiches Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

Years ago, sandwiches were the big hoo-ra of fast-casual lunch dining. With operations like Subway and even at one point of time, Quiznos, taking complete control of the sandwich craze, we never really knew what we were missing. For me, Firehouse is hit or miss. And if it weren't for Jersey Mikes, I think sandwiches would be extinct. I've heard of Which Wich before (still indifferent about the name to be honest) but it's irrelevant, because I'm a foodie and we love food. TLH is now happily home to two Which Wich locations with a third expected to open in the latter part of the summer. I was greeted by the polite and personable General Manager who walked me through the process of ordering. I set my mind on a hot Italian sandwich even before I set foot in the establishment. Here, it's called a grinder. Meats like salami and capicola melted in my mouth. And at Which Wich, you do all the heavy lifting. You build your very own sandwich by providing checkmarks on a writable menu, which just so happens to be a cleverly-developed sandwich wrapping paper of sorts. I landed on provolone cheese, marinara, pesto, lettuce, tomato, spinach, oregano, garlic and red pepper, all on toasted wheat. The ordering of the sandwich, the preparing of the sandwich and the eating of the sandwich, all took 20 minutes. That's quicker than watching your favorite sitcom on cable! Which Wich crafts delicious sandwiches in a timely manner. It stands in the ranks of Jersey Mikes, while bringing a fresh perspective. I bid you good eating. read more

I was invited here for a sneak preview of the restaurant, and everything was perfect. It was very clean, there is plenty of seating, and everything was well-stocked. The drink fountain was very clean, which is something that I always notice in restaurants that allow guests to fill their own beverages. The service was extremely friendly, and the managers showed that they really care about this restaurant. The food was delicious and exactly as I (and my date) ordered. I ordered a hot buffalo chicken sandwich with all of the fixings, and it came out perfectly. The buffalo sauce is delicious - not overly spicy, and just enough tang to make it great. My date ordered the Cuban sandwich with pesto sauce, and it was also tasty. We both enjoyed house chips and fountain drinks. We also were able to try the strawberry and Oreo milk shakes, both of which were yummy. We then tried a warm chocolate chip cookie that tasted just like my mom's old Toll House cookies. We will definitely be back, and I have no doubt that this restaurant is going to be hopping soon! read more

Was stopping by for a single milkshake which I've really enjoyed from this chain in the past. They were out of milk but the employee was really sweet which made up for it! :) This was March 28th at around 7:45pm, and the employee was Alicia- she made my day! read more

Five stars in class. With a recent (last five years) up-cropping of boutique sandwich joints (Jersey Mike's, Lenny's, etc...), this one stands out with an engaging ordering process that assures the customer gets precisely what they've ordered (see other reviews covering the dedicated sacks). Groovy interior decor, moderate pricing, quick turnaround and palpable attention to the customer are all big pluses. Owner (David Walker) very involved with the operation. Evident that he's setting high expectations with the staff as well. This is a hike for us (we live near Magnolia & Park) but David told us that both Which Wich AND smashburger are opening up across from WD on magnolia in about six months - we'll look forward to that! This gets five stars in class from me - and I look forward to coming again and again. read more

Everyone talks about WhichWich (WW) for lunch and dinner (and rightfully so). But no ones talking about WW for breakfast. But they should be. WW has arguably one of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. The starting point is traditional: eggs and your choice of ham, bacon or sausage on your choice of a white or wheat roll. But then things become interesting: because you now have access to the large WW larder, you can customize your sandwich in an almost infinite number of ways. All of their veggies, toppings and spreads are just waiting to be added to your breakfast sandwich in any combination. Want American cheese, 'shrooms, bell peppers and caramelized onions? Go for it (a mighty tasty combination). How about tomatoes, olives and pepper jack cheese? Yep. Provolone and cucumbers? A little odd, but available. In short: you name it, and it's likely you can have it. Your WW breakfast sandwich awaits. read more

Which Wich - Breakfast! My egg, ham, American cheese, mushroom, bell peppers, and caramelized onion sandwich on warm white roll was fantastic. - Sandwiches Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

Love the food, the set up, and the service! These were the three things that really stood out to me here, which to me qualifies for a 5 star review. So let me tell you more about this... At their core they're a Fast food sandwich place, with options to build your own or grab a specialty sandwich, house chips, and milkshakes. Great milkshakes, I recommend the Chocolate Oreo. So...They've got some really tasty specialty Wiches like the Meatball Grinder (cheese, pepperoni, sauce, meatballs...yum) or the Wicked (3 cheese, 3 meat, veggies...traditional sub yum). You just grab a bag and pick your Wich, the type of bread (or lettuce) you want it on, the size, and the toppings (like double cheese). You can customize any of the Wiches, even the specialty ones like the Elvis (throw some grilled onions on that and thank me later). Now we all can attest to the fact that customer service can make or break a place. Also, it can seriously brighten or dampen your experience there. I'm happy to report that Which Wich's Friendly service stuck with me and made the waiting tolerable. PS-they serve breakfast Wiches all-day! read more

"Great. Another sandwich shop" has been the resounding response of the denizen in Tallahassee. There is one commonality among these individuals: they have not yet visited the shop. Which Wich is a step above the rest. The place is clean and minimally decorated in a way that reminds you of Chipotle, but more inviting. We were approached not once or twice, but three times by employees who offered assistance in explaining their unique ordering system. This system is one of the many distinguishing factors of the shop. There are 10 different kinds of sandwiches you can order: ranging from chicken, turkey, ham and pork to classic, breakfast, and vegetarian. Within each of the 10 sections there are about 5 sandwiches. You select the category you want by choosing the paper bag with the printed category name on it and use a provided marker to choose both the selected sandwich and all of your toppings and specifications (there are a ton. I won't ruin all the surprises)! Another cool feature is that all of their meat is cut fresh in the back of the shop as you order. No pre-cut stuff here. They are about full customization. And let's not forget the quality of the sandwich: fantastic! I ordered a hot beef cheesesteak sandwich and the toasted flakiness of the outside and warm fluffiness of the inside are unparalleled to any sandwich bread I've had in Tally. The veggies were all fresh and I didn't feel shorted on the amount of meat either. Overall a great sandwich! Finally I want to touch back on the service, which was superb. Jason, the store manager, was extremely friendly and approachable. Even just ordering your meal made you feel like you were talking to an old friend. And Brett, my sandwich creator, was both fast and professional. I loved both the experience and the food and suggest any doubters make their way over before prejudging this new sandwich heaven. read more

Which Wich is definitely the king of their league; they do fast-casual sandwichery right. I've been to this location several times and it is consistently great, the service is prompt and friendly and even though they have an infinite list of ingredients and options, the menu is well-organized and thus not overwhelming. I always opt for the Avocado and add...well everything. They have a great selection of cheeses, fresh and cooked veggies, condiments (everything from hummus and pesto to BBQ and ranch) the bread is always fresh with just the right amount of crunch on the exterior and soft fluff on the interior (they seem to never get soggy either with is a beautiful miracle). The sandwiches are served warm (unless requested otherwise) and I'm always impressed with how flavorful and satiating the sandwiches are. I treated my strong pregnancy craving to an Oreo milkshake recently and it was pretty spectacular. read more

Decided to give Which Wich a try on the way to work. There was a Hooked deal for $5 Wicked Sandwich- a great price. I thought it was really cool that you write your order on the bag instead of just telling the cashier, it was a much quicker method. I customized the sandwich a good about as I don't enjoy all sandwich meats. There was a plethora of topping options, very few had an additional charge. The full size sandwich was large enough for me to eat one half at the beginning of my shift and the other later on. The sandwich was pretty good, nothing amazing but definitely worth the $5. I would probably come back for another good deal. read more

Tried their wicked sandwich fkr the first time today and it might be the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, reordered a second one and the manager recognized me from my earlier visit, and even gave me a coupon for my next visit since I enjoyed it so much, amazing customer service and amazing sandwiches. read more

Many thanks to the young lady that helped me make sense of the ordering process which is unlike any place I have ever been to. Which Wich - Sandwiches Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

I believe this might be the worst sandwich I've never had. First time ever at Which Wich on Magnolia in Tallahassee today I ordered 2 large sandwiches with extra ham and cheese, etc., 2 chips, and 1 drink for $32 and left a tip. The sandwiches were wrapped in parchment like tissue paper and then in aluminum foil. I guess they had been steamed, I don't think they were put in a broiler, but maybe. They were a soggy mess and the bread disintegrated. I dropped off 1 with my daughter before I opened mine and knew how bad it was. I ate about a quarter of mine, throwing the bread away and then threw the rest of the sandwich away. This is definitely a one-and-done place to eat. read more

This is your typical sandwich shop. The food is good and they've got some interesting mix. They have a unique way of having their customer order which i guess makes the whole process of getting a sandwich...different. I haven't been disappointed yet. read more

My gf was invited to the opening of restaurant on a Saturday. We went for lunch at noon and what we found was better than our expectations. The restaurant was very clean and organize, as expected for a new restaurant. The crew was extremely friendly and attentive to out needs. The food was really good but they did take a bit longer than usual, I will attribute it to the fact that its a new crew therefore they are still learning. I ha a Cuban sandwich with pesto, which I highly recommend. read more

My first time using the yelp app to order food. The canceled my order because "they were out of chips".

Love the Philly cheesesteak. Local college kids do the best they can, and they seem to be eager to please. Takes a little while to receive your order but it's worth it to me. read more

I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich tonight. I always get it with spinach. Tonight spinach was clearly marked on my bag, yet the sandwich maker put shredded lettuce on instead. When I opened the tinfoil around the sandwich I could IMMEDIATELY smell warm lettuce. Check your food before you leave because you might be highly disappointed otherwise. For the price of the sandwich it should come correct especially if the toppings are clearly marked. If you are out of something, let the customer know please do not replace it with a "comparable" topping because shredded lettuce does not substitute for spinach. I don't know how the lettuce ended up on my sandwich but it was not okay. read more

Great sandwich place-5 stars for staff friendliness/helpfulness. 4.5 for food. We had the Wicked and the Philly Cheesesteak. Wicked was very good; Philly Cheesesteak was good but not much melted cheese on it. Would try again next time we are in the area. read more

First visit at a Which Wich and I had the Reuben and it was pretty good. Line moved fast and food was ready pretty quck.

Ive been a repeat customer here a few times and always left satisfied. The last time I came in for lunch, I ordered one of the vegetarian options. Whatever they did to that sandwich gave me severe food poisoning. I went there on Wednesday. Its Friday now and im still roiling from stomach cramps and diarrhea. Not coming back. read more

Went here and ordered from a touchscreen in the drive-thru which I thought was pretty awesome. Unfortunately, they missed a part of my order despite the fact that it couldn't be any clearer since it was sent electronically. Wonderful food and great customer service. My mom and I went for the first time over the weekend and the guy behind the counter came up to us and told us how things worked, which we really appreciated. The idea is very unique and exactly what a college town like Tallahassee needs. The only place in town with a better sub is Publix, and even then Which Wich comes incredibly close. There are more options than any other sandwich place. Delicious food, great service, and super quick. read more

I've only been here once, and I'm good with that. Usually when I don't like a place on my first visit, I give it another try. But no thanks. I like the fact that you choose a bag based on the type of meat or non meat sub you want. I chose beef. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sub, with grilled onions and mushrooms. When I sat down to wait on my food. The tables and seats were dirty. They hadn't been wiped off and the place wasn't busy at all. My sister ordered the BLT. My sandwich was disgusting. Why is there raw mushrooms on my hot sandwich? The onions weren't grilled they were sautéed. I don't like deli beef, I expected real beef hot off the grill not heated by a toaster. My sister's sandwich had too much mustard and black pepper on it. And where was the bacon? The staff was nice. But the experience wasn't good at all. I'll stick to Jersey Mike's and Newks if I want a sandwich. read more

Do not get the Philly Cheese. Literally the worst sub I have ever had, in my entire life.

Great idea for a sandwich shop this maybe the way of the future. I ordered my sandwich (and its toppings) side and drink in the drive thru on a touch screen menu all by myself (I'm such a big boy). Service was average speed the sandwich was great and filling but as most sub places not named Jared I spent about $17/18. Again it was good eating though and my meal was prepared correctly both times. If you got sec stop by; If you're in rush DONT DO IT read more

Customer service at this Which Wich is awful. Ordered 2 medium Meatball Grinders at the drive through get home and not sure what kind of meat is n the bread, but it is just meat and bread. Called and spoke to the manager who said they don't sell meatball grinders anymore, well why weren't we told. No cheese, no nothing, meat and bread only for $8.50 each REALLY....didn't offer to make it right or anything. Still have both sandwiches. Their managers (if I truly spoke to one) need MAJOR training in customer service. I will not go back there. I would give ZERO stars but it won't let me post without giving one star. read more

Excellent good and great service. I was impressed by the professionalism of the young people working here. Very refreshing. I asked for spicy mustard on my drive thru sandwich and the woman put like half the jar. It got everywhere. I had to scrape it off and it still tasted like only mustard. I took a bite of it when I was in the car and mustard squirted out everywhere because even though I had scraped a lot of it off, she had hidden some like 3 or 4 tablespoons between the meat. It got everywhere. I would estimate there was half a cup of mustard on my sandwich. I have been back but I didn't get any mustard. read more

I've been here a couple of times now. The ordering system they have is weird and confusing if you haven't been here before. They make you choose your own bag at the front of the restaurant. They are all numbered for some reason, which makes it all the more confusing (why do the bags have numbers at all??) The problem with this system, is there are always new customers who haven't been here before and get confused. Then they ask for help, but since there is a line of people, it ends up slowing down the whole process. Both times I've been here, there were confused students asking the staff what to do, and I had to wait in line at the cashier while they were walked through the process of ordering. This is going to be a huge issue in a college town, where you're constantly getting new people in the restaurant who know nothing about the ordering process. It just makes it take way too long. With that being said, the sandwiches I've had here have been pretty decent. The bread is the best part about the sandwich. It's tasty and high quality bread. However, the sizes of the sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. I have found that when I order a medium sub (10 inches), it's not enough food and I end up leaving hungry. If I order a large sub (14 inches), it's too much food and I can't finish it all. This is a bad situation to be in. To make matters worse, it's really expensive. A medium sub, drink, and chips, is going to cost you $12.60. This is even more expensive than Firehouse Subs, AND you're getting less food. (A large sub combo at Firehouse is going to run you around $11, and is a bigger sandwich.) They also have a specialty sub that changes every so often. I noticed on their website that it was a cheesesteak sub, so I made it a point to drive out there to get it. Unfortunately when I arrived, they told me there was a new specialty sub, and the website was just out of date. (The website needs to be updated in a timely fashion if you're going to offer limited time subs, especially when it's a chain restaurant with a lot of locations.) Another really weird decision they've made is they don't have any napkins available on any tables, or anywhere at all really. If you want napkins, you have to go up next to the drink machine where they have a huge roll of paper towels where you can unravel some for yourself. Not only is this inconvenient, it's unsanitary. When people need napkins (or in this case paper towels), it's usually because they have messy hands. You're asking people to put their messy hands on the paper towel roll so that they can tear off a piece for themselves. Then the person behind them has to touch the same roll the person that had messy fingers just touched. No bueno. The good part about this restaurant, is they have quite a few options available for subs, so there is a little something for everybody. Unfortunately, the unorthodox ordering method, price, and paper towel situation makes for just an average chain sub shop. read more

The pre-order paper system will keep me from enjoying this place too much work for simply wanting to pay for lunch.
