    Out of BYO bags
    Iris T.

Been thinking about dining here upon my return to ABQ. Unfortunately, tonight's sandwich was not hitting the Yummos standard. I ordered the $6 Wicked Wednesday special because they were out of the BYO bags. Service was friendly and quick as there were no other patrons. Sadly the shredded lettuce was a limp soggy mess which destroyed the bread. I did notice that produce at the market has not been great so for that I will give Which Wich some grace, but I will not be returning to dine here until the weather gets warmer.

    Black avocado

I usually love the sandwiches at which which but today was very disappointed. Maybe two slices of turkey, asked for deli mustard got yellow, asked for pepper mix got jalapeños and the avocado below looked 3 days old. Disappointed

Ordered the meatball sub. Love the way it is set up with the menu and use a pre order paper to put what you want. Good meal and very friendly staff.

So I have been here before on one other occasion, lunch with the work fam! It was pretty fun, of course maybe that was because I was with them? What can I say, I love them! Tee hee! Okay, so the Which Wich. It was a bit overwhelming to take in the whole menu my first time there. There's a lot to choose from. The nice thing is that they break the menu up into types of sandwiches, or meats if you will. Then there are five different types of sandwiches to choose from within that category. Then you pick the bag and begin working on your sandwich order. Things you want on your sandwich, type of bread, or no bread, garnish, condiments, things like that. There's a lot to do before you make it to the register! I will tell I don't remember exactly what I ordered. I wasn't impressed with it. I think it was the Italian Grinder. oh yes,it was, I remember thinking I would have much rather had the italian sub from dion's...eep! I said it! It's true though! My baaaaad! I wasn't planning on returning to a Which Wich, but the bestie came across this place and seemed to really enjoy it. So much that she wanted to come back, and I joined her on that trip. Being accustom to their ordering process this time around, it wasn't quite so daunting to put together my sandwich order. Or perhaps that was because I went with the Philly Cheesesteak! There's not much to it! I had to make a decision on the type of cheese! Provolone or Cheez Whiz.....Provolone please! I paired with Miss Vickies Jalapeno Cheddar chips. Didn't even know they made a Jalapeno Cheddar! I've only ever had the Jalapeno! Mind blown! (They we good..loved them) Verdict. Eh. It was good. Still didn't impress me. Probably coulda used a bit more cheese too. I've decided that I will return though. My experiences haven't been horrible. They have about 50 other sandwiches for me to try too. I am sure I will find something that I like! Oh but wait, I do believe I have...their ice cream cookie sandwich! I ordered one on the way out! It was the perfect size and just dericous!

This was was my first time here. Ray was so sweet explaining what my choices were for my free 7" bday sub. I got the meatball with green chile, lettuce and onions on wheat. The bread was toasted nicely. The meatballs were tasty. And to wash it down I got a milkshake. They're on sale for $2.50 for national ice cream day today. The vanilla is really good. Nice employees. Plenty of seating room. Fresh, tasty ingredients. I'll be back.

    House Chips! ~$1.25/bag

I'll take Which Wich over Subway any day. I love this location more than the one on Central for a variety of reasons. It's larger, cleaner, and has more parking. They've re-vamped their menu since I last visited a couple years ago, and it seems they've gotten rid of some of my favorite options. I used to frequently order their Hawaiian, with ham and pineapple, but I no longer see it available. It seems they've also changed their house-made chips, as they're no longer hand-packaged in paper baggies, but manufactured in the typical plastic chip bag. I still liked their peppery seasoning. This time, I ordered the Ultimate BLT with green chile, and was not disappointed. I wasn't able to customize it on the bag (change the bread, hollow it out, add other toppings, etc), but it was still good; warm, crunchy bread, generous amount of crispy bacon, and buttery avocado. The green chile was spicy and yummy. On July 4th, they offered active duty military and veterans a 'free regular wich' which was actually -$6.00 your sandwich order. Seeing as we had a sandwich off the Faves list, it was a little pricier than $6.00, so it wasn't exactly free, but heavily discounted. Still great! Love their deals and coupons through the Vibe Club. I'll be back soon when I'm craving another sammich.

It was a long line but the counterman handled it with great speed. The guy in front of me comes in to buy sausage and fresh mozzarella to make his own homemade calzones. I chose the full size italian beef and the other sandwich we got was mostly veggies and mozzarella(I can't remember the name). While we waited for the sandwiches we perused the baked goods and the italian market with tons of sauces, frozen foods, cheese and delicious baked goods. The sandwiches were huge and delicious. Even as a big a guy as I am I could have done with the half size, but I did end up eating the second half for dinner. The sandwiches are on soft, delicious hoagie rolls. The italian beef was stuff with beef and gardinera. The juices of the meat and the gardinera leaks into the botoom of your tray and almost makes a french dip like sauce. This place is fantastic!!!

The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!
