I thought the dealership was the best option, but looking back, I should have brought my car to Empire Motorsports from the start. Jack took the time to explain everything to me in detail, which immediately gave me confidence. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and honest, and I never once questioned his quote. I dropped my car off on a Thursday morning, and even though it needed extensive work, it was ready by Friday afternoon. It is extremely hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but after years of searching, I honestly feel like my search is over. But everything in between was honestly really frustrating. I got a text saying my car was ready and that the shop was open Mon-Fri, 8-5. My husband took an Uber on Monday morning to pick it up, only to find the shop completely closed. He waited over an hour, along with other customers, and no one answered the phone, so he ended up spending $140 just to get there and come back empty handed. Nowhere, not the text, the website, or Google, mentioned anything about holiday hours. When I called later to ask what happened, the receptionist was really rude and actually yelled at me while I was just trying to understand why the hours were not what was expected. She made me feel like I was the one in the wrong, even though we ended up losing money and time because of their miscommunication. I don't like leaving negative reviews and rarely ever do, so I wanted the call to give the shop a chance to rectify this mistake by either refunding my cost or at least providing me with a shuttle so I wouldn't have to spend another $70 just to get back to my car, but I ended up just getting yelled at. The technicians seem great, but the lack of accurate info and the attitude from the front office made this a really stressful experience. Better communication and nicer customer service would've gone a long way.

It's now been approximately 3 weeks since my last review regarding my service with Kevin and believe it or not I'm still here waiting for him to install my lights that are supposedly finished. The last time he said he would do a mobile service out to me to install the lights in my car but that has not yet happened and today I receive a text message basically stating that since I gave him a low rating he will not be doing a mobile service anymore and now I have to be inconvenienced by having to drive to his shop in Northridge to get them installed during the week when most of us have to work. So the lack of customer service still continues and then he goes on to say that he won't do a mobile service because there is no guarantee that I won't erase my review and give him 5 stars!!!! What business owner tells a customer that and then he won't refund my money because he says he doesn't refund on custom work well then as an unsatisfied customer he needs to make good on his word and come out to me and make it right, maybe then I'll change my review but until such time I will keep informing the potential customers of what type of service you may run into with this guy. Until he comes out to me and fulfills his commitment to his customer I will continue to give him a 1 star rating. I'm sure after this message he'll be texting me again. Now I'm not one to request a service or talk bad about someone without providing the receipts but here are attached my contact that got no response till this day, my email that didn't get a reply, my Instagram messages that never got a reply and a promise of having them ready and the Facebook messages with some replies but ultimately ending in the same result, no response and flaking. I also called multiple times and left voicemails and no response. I also had a friend who previously ordered some and he ignored it. The service requested was a pair of headlights and provided the color and itching and here I am getting no responses. I was not requested a deposit or anything .This kind of service does not provide any kind of value in the market , where a customer orders something and there is no response. He also deliberately asked me to take down my post because of his poor reputation and I did but with no result. Too many chances with no proper service. Go somewhere else with your money. 0/10. I waited since December and nothing. You can see him messaging me from his personal account, and still no reply. There is no accountability. Cant hide the messages and receipts. There is still no attempt to fix the request to purchase new lights.

I brought him a Jeep that had been sitting for who knows how long -- definitely over 7 years. Most shops would've seen a goldmine and tried to upsell me on everything under the sun. Not Ray. He walked me through exactly what was urgent, what could wait, and what didn't need fixing at all. That kind of honesty is almost unheard of, and he actually came about $500 under my budget! He took care of a ton of work on the Jeep, and not once did I feel rushed, confused, or pressured. His communication is clear, his turnaround time is fast, and his work is solid. The Jeep runs well now, I mean it is a Jeep so there's always going to be something but I trust the car is safe and arguably reliable because of Rays honest work, completely. Ray is more than just a mechanic. He's the Jeep whisperer. If you're lucky enough to get on his schedule, take it. Just don't blame me when he's booked solid because you won't take your ride anywhere else -- I warned you.
