EDIT: I am giving 5 stars ONLY because of the owners response. I did end up taking my business elsewhere however I truly appreciate the professional and quick response to my feedback. Thank you. (3 stars previously). I came here specifically looking for a USED tire because I'm currently driving on a donut and trying to stay within a budget. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called beforehand asking about getting a tire changed and at no point was I told they only had NEW tires in stock, that there would be a card fee, or how busy things were.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I understand I could have specifically asked more detailed questions over the phone, but as a customer I didn't think I needed to clarify whether a used tire shop actually had used tires available. I also didn't know there was an additional fee for paying by card until arriving. What frustrated me most was standing there waiting around for about 30 minutes before finally being told there were no used tires available at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even a simple heads up to customers waiting such as "just so everyone knows, we currently only have new tires in stock" would have saved people time, gas, and frustration.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employee wasn't necessarily rude, but the overall experience felt very disorganized and communication was lacking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a business owner myself, I know communication is what keeps transactions smooth on both sides.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customers may forget to ask certain questions, but businesses should also proactively communicate important information that affects pricing, inventory, and expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Acapulco Tires was a great experience from start to finish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had never been to them before, but they made replacing all four tires on my vehicle as simple and seamless as possible. They only had three of the four tires I needed in stock, but they had no problem ordering the fourth one for same-day installation, which I really appreciated. The team was professional, helpful, and clearly cared about making the process easy for me. Great service, great communication, and overall a very smooth experience. They guys at Acapulco tires are the Best! really quick service always when I need a tire patch or a plug. i bring my new tires tothem for my vehicles. they always do a great job, and when I bring my vintage vehicles to them Kieran always knows what valve stems I need for the crazy sized tires I bring him. from Vespa to Honda z cars, split rims dont phase them. Even 17" Borgward Alexander Rims and Borgward truck rims are all done like clockwork. My car came with upsized aftermarket rims and I asked them to install the new tires on my stock oem wheels which I had brought, still wrapped from being stored. They swapped the wheels and installed the oem back on the car with the new tires, wrapped my aftermarket rims and put them in the trunk and backseat for me to store until I either sell or install in our suv. They were fast and courteous. Can't ask for anything more.

And yes, that has happened to me before. But given the experience I had at American tire depot in La Crescenta, I will never go anywhere else to have my car worked on again no matter what. my husband reminded me that you can go to some tire stores and they will fix holes for free, this is definitely true at American tire depot. So one afternoon I took my vehicle to see if I could get this tire fixed. Jason helped me out; and while I had to go home and come back because I have a BMW and we have weird tools you need to get tires off of the car, they did fix my tire for free and all was good in the world. But in fixing my tire, they also noticed that my rear brakes were all screwed up. Jared, the tech who helped me out this time, was able to look up parts and labor rates and gave me a quote within five minutes. I went in today to get the brakes fixed... and on two different occasions the technician came to the waiting room to sit down and explain to me what actually was wrong with my brakes. They had photos, they showed me the parts themselves, why things had been installed incorrectly previously, and all that jazz. and they were just as kind as they could be, not talking down to me because I'm a female who doesn't understand cars, but explaining everything to me because I'm a customer, and they want my business back. which they are going to get! I learned that I'm also going to need to replace the brake calipers. It's going to be pricey, but Jared said they would forward me a quote as soon as possible. I will seriously never take my car anywhere else ever again!

I came in the afternoon and was pressed for time so it was my mistake not to review the quote. They add on items that should already be part of the repair. Other things to keep in mind with this Glendale branch: (1) If you buy tires from Firestone they charge extra for balancing unlike Discount Tire Centers or America's Tire where it is included, so you save money buying tires elsewhere, (2) They do not deduct diagnostic fees when you authorize the repair unlike all other Service Centers even Dealerships, they also don't tell you that beforehand, (3) Firestone will overcharge you for parts. Granted dealerships will do the same but it's just a sleazy practice that no one should be doing. (4) They will not thoroughly explain what's included on the costs. Like I said I should have reviewed the quote in detail. They added hazard protection for the tires without letting me know, which added $125 to my bill. My verdict is go elsewhere. These people will pad your invoice and are dishonest and deceptive. BE FOREWARNED!

It's no secret that run-flats can be significantly more expensive than regular tires, but I like that extra layer of protection as my car has no spare. We settled on four Hankook tires that are both round and black. No unnecessary upselling at Montrose Tire. Rosemary knows her tires and treated me fairly. The tires were ordered and arrived the next day in plenty of time for my install. It is true that the run-flat ride can be a bit rougher than air only tires, but the knowledge that I can keep going with a nail or two in my side is totally worth it. I'm a fan of Montrose Tire!

I asked- "So, you will not provide service because you can only change tires for 950$ and only after you are able to check my car even the battery?" He replied- "Yes" I just wanted to get service, but received this instead. I hope this manager gets some feedbacks as Yelp is full of his behavior. I hope some actions will be taken, I loved it, but after this experience I will not come back.

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

This place is not in Beverly Hills so I'm not sure why people are complaining about the service and what not. If you want something affordable and a job well done then this is the place you go to. If you want someone to "suck up" to you then go to a fancy shmancy place that will do that. I've gone here on several occasions. They are reasonably priced and the used tires I got from here worked well, far more than I expected they would last .They told me over the phone how much it would be and they charged me the same price once I got there. After checking several places this one is the best one I have found in this area! Today I took my friend who needed two front tires replaced. We didn't know they only take cash so we had to go to the bank and get the money before they could change the tires and they were nice enough to wait for us PAST their closing time! And they did it in less than ten minutes! The price was the same as when I asked over the phone and my friend was so happy she tipped them $10 out of gratitude. Really bad service compare to other tire shops. Normally other shops don't even wait for me to turn off my car when they are already next to my window asking me what's the problem. The part that bother me the most is that they are very unorganized. I went there exactly on August 21 for my brothers bday. Because my tire had a nail it in. I went there thinking max they will charge me 10 bucks max at other places this guys didn't told me how much was it gonna be so when everything was done the person taking my tire out said that it was 33 dollars. Really crazy if people actually have pay that price for a nail. I mean a place by my house charges me 7dollars. Came to remove a nail from my tire, they quoted me $10 fair enough. then I made a mistake of mentioning that my tire is a run flat, all of a sudden it's $20 because they have to use a "special filler" haha yeah right.
