Came here because I was desperate to find a tire place that opens past 6pm and wanted to change 2 tires (1 had a nail and the other just needed a change). I did ask for used tires but they gave me ones from 2016 and 2017. On TOP OF THAT, the tires weren't even the correct size! They were smaller than what my car needed. I found out when I was on my road trip up north and one of the tires they changed for me started CRACKING. Maybe it's my bad for not checking earlier, but they shouldn't have sold incorrect sized tires and old ones from 10 years ago!! read more

I came here because of the good reviews and they were absolutely correct about this place. I stupidly popped my tires on a curb and my tires still have a lot of life to them so I knew I wanted a used tire. I rolled up to this place, I think there was one other car before me and then I was seen in a couple minutes. Jose was super nice and made me feel at ease. He got to work on my tires right away, seeing if it could be salvaged but after confirming it couldn't be saved he got a tire on in minutes. The quickest car service I've ever gotten. Definitely coming back here if I pop my tires again haha. read more

Came in at 9 p.m. after I hit a rock, and they fixed my car so quickly! Everyone was so sweet and helpful. I would highly recommend them!

Yelp comes through once again!! I had a slow leak in one of my tires and after some weeks of filling it with air and dreading the cost of a new tire, I finally sought out a tire place near east Hollywood. I'm so glad I came to Fernando's! When I came Fri morning William was immediately able to see me and find the tear in my tire. Unfortunately it couldn't be patched but he gave me good deal on a new tire that was fortunately in stock. Not only did they have a TON of tires on hand but they have even MORE nearby. Friendly, professional and without upselling- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

These guys are life savers! Open at least until midnight. I showed up around 8 pm. Got a tire patched within 20 mins of getting there. Good price too! They are courteous. I paid cash and I think they take zelle. Call them to make sure of payment methods. 100% recommended. read more

Passed by to try and get a tire. I drive an Alfa Romeo. I get tires all the time because of how my car performs, usually used tire cost 40 to 90 dollars. They were charging me 150 for a used tire . I told him I didn't want to change it at the moment and to not try and stir things up he kept asking so I told him I knew cheaper spot. Keeep in mind all he did was take lug nuts off he didn't change or take off tire off rim. He tried charging me to put back my tire. Ik I was in for a scam as soon as they took my tire off without asking. Tire wasn't even popped Horrible service dint come here trust me !!!! read more

I had a very negative experience with Fernando's Tires. I purchased a set of used tires and assumed they were safe and suitable for driving. Shortly afterward, I took my vehicle to my longtime mechanic for a routine inspection. During that inspection, my mechanic examined the tires and told me they appeared to be cracking and were unsafe to continue driving on. He recommended that I replace all of them immediately. What made this especially concerning is that he does not sell tires himself, so he had no financial incentive to tell me to buy replacements. As a result, I had to spend even more money purchasing a completely new set of tires from another business almost immediately after buying the used tires from Fernando's Tires. I feel that the tires sold to me should never have been represented as suitable for use if they were in that condition. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying used tires here to have them inspected by an independent mechanic as soon as possible. I would not do business with this shop again. read more

Nice people. Honest. Possible to negotiate. Get the work done in no time. Great value. What else?

Great service ! Super friendly and the are fairly priced . They also work very quickly ; usually when you are going to fix something with your car you expect to be there a couple hours . I was in and out ! read more

Hit two massive potholes on Hyperion and got TWO flats . City of Silverlake I'm coming for you! However Fernando's was readily available to help me replace both tires and even helped fix my rim that was slightly bent because of how bad the pothole was. Great friendly service and kept me informed throughout the service and gave options along with decent pricing. They did a great job ! Life savers. Highly recommend. read more

Beware and make sure to double check your tires before you leave there. This guy talks a big game talks about how he cares about your safety and how he's gonna hook you up. I went there the other day and he put the wrong tire on my car. I've called over the past three days since I've been there and he refuses to replace my tire or give me my money back. I put my kids in my car and my car is pulling hard to the right after him putting the wrong size tire on there. I would never recommend this place. He's a side of the road scam read more

I got a flat tire late at night when most tire shops were already closed, and this place truly came through. I called to check, and they confirmed they were still open. Luckily, I had a run-flat tire and was able to drive over safely. The gentleman who helped me was quick, efficient, and provided excellent customer service. The pricing was also very reasonable, which was a huge relief given the situation. I'm incredibly grateful they were open when I needed help most. Highly recommend if you ever find yourself in a bind read more

Not to pricy and open 24/7 is a plus, work was quite quick as well, would recommend to those who need it a tire repair asap.

If you choose to go here - ask up front how long until they will get to your car. They may do great work but the communication is nonexistent. I have a nail in my tire and it's a Sunday afternoon - needed a basic patch. I called ahead of time - was told to come by. Was there in 10 minutes. The singular guy at the shop was working on a car before me and said literally nothing. I sat there for an over an hour, while all the other shops in town closed, and then finally asked if I could get an estimate on how much longer. And was told 45 minutes. I left, as did one of the guys who came in after me and heard me ask how much longer. We both ended up at the same shop down the street after that. If you're 20 minutes into a 2 hour job and you're the only guy working, have the wherewithal and courtesy to make incoming people aware. read more

AAA guy recommended this place to me when I caught a flat and José was the nicest person to help me. He suggested a patch instead of a new tire since my car was brand new, saving me a lot of money since I was going to get a tesla service rep to come out and switch the tire. Super nice and honestly made me feel safe given that it was late in the afternoon. Definitely recommend this place. read more

I had a flat tire in the neighborhood and I'm so lucky I was near Fernando's! I had never been before but the very kind William who works there helped me at 7:50am on a Saturday, expertly patching my tire for a reasonable price and checking thoroughly for other holes. It turned out in addition to a visible nail in my tire, there was also a tear where I had gotten it patched elsewhere a couple month ago; he showed me that the patch simply fell off because it wasn't done well. His patch immediately looked sturdier and I appreciated him showing me what he was doing and explaining, and also not trying to talk me into buying a new tire. Very kind and professional and fast! I was in and out in thirty minutes. William really saved the day (and my tire)! read more

This is how you run a business! Got a flat and needed a patch, it was 7:30 pm, and first of all, they stay open till 9 or something which is fantastic. I called ahead and buddy told me they had a couple cars in the shop so he sent me to their sister store at 5255 Santa Monica. (About 5 mins away) I got there, had good conversation, and within 5 minutes, I was back on the road. He double checked the pressure on all my tires, before sending me on my way. Class act. 10/10 recommend either location! read more

What I can say is that this is 10000% true he does stay open 24 hours all day everyday. I caught a flat in Korean town and drove to him and he was open just have to call him and let him know your coming . Quick and easy thanks Fernando read more

Avoid this place -- completely unprofessional experience. We urgently needed a tire replacement late at night on a Sunday. I called the shop, and they quoted $130 and told us to drive to another location where they would meet us. We agreed and followed their instructions. From there the situation became unbelievable: * First they said they'd arrive in 8 minutes. * Then it became 15 minutes. * Then 25 minutes. * After 50 minutes, I called again -- they said "another 10 minutes." * When I politely asked if they could adjust the price for almost an hour of waiting, they refused. * Then, after even more waiting, they stopped responding and finally said: "I'm done for today, text me at 7 AM." This business advertises 24/7 service, yet they left us stranded at night with no communication, no apology, and no service provided. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable -- especially for an emergency service. If you value your time and safety, go elsewhere. read more

I want to give Fernando and his team a shout-out here. They took care of my flat tire need and provided roadside assistance when I contacted them. The price was reasonable, the communication was clear, and the speed exceeded my expectations. A local shop helping the local community and neighbors. Way to go guys, please keep it up! read more

Don't know the guys name but he was trying to scam me charging me way to much for a used tire and then when I called my dad he kept trying to talk and make other stuff up when my dad told me it was too much they then tried telling me they can give me a new tire for the price of a used one they originally quoted me for . They take advantage especially if you're a woman they think you don't know read more

I got a flat tire in Koreatown late last night and most of the tire shops were already closed. Luckily, the tow operator knew Tony and recommended his tire shop!! Tony and his family came out and opened his shop around 10pm just to do a quick tire change for me, which was such a relief because I didn't have a spare and I wasn't sure how to get home. He and his family were so kind and accommodating, and the tire was super reasonably priced. If you're ever in need of tires, please check this place out and give Tony a call! I would definitely come back here again for the great service, price, and to support an honest and kind local business. read more

WATCH OUT!!!! I would never recommend switching tires with Jose or Fernando (I'm not sure of his exact name). I tried to work out a deal with him to replace my two front tires, and initially, he offered me a good deal, which I agreed to. I asked him how long the work would take, and he assured me it would be a maximum of three hours. However, after the tire replacement, he told me my car was ready and waiting at the alignment shop. I drove 40 minutes to the alignment shop, only to be told they needed an additional three hours, which was completely unacceptable. At that point, I asked for my money back for the alignment and decided to take my business elsewhere. Despite the inconvenience, Jose insisted on charging me for the full package, which seemed suspicious, but I decided to trust him. Then, while I was on my way to the alignment shop, he called me to say I had accidentally been given the wrong tire--this was a lie, as I specifically remember the tire serial code, which matched the tire he had offered me. He continued to refuse to refund the alignment charge, even though I explained the situation. Instead, he asked me to bring my car back so he could remove all his parts and then pay for his labor. At that point, I no longer trusted him to touch my car. I just wanted my money back for the alignment. In the end, he only refunded me $100 instead of the $220 I was owed, which felt like he was trying to take advantage of me. Charging for labor to remove his parts is completely unreasonable and unprofessional. To summarize, I got 2 used tires for $550 . no alignment . no warranty. completely been taken advantage of. Please Watch out ! read more

Awesome shop, the owner is a very honest and good dude. Had a nail in my tire, he closes at 9 and I was some ways away and wouldn't get there till after. He stayed open an extra 30 min for me. Patched the tire and also noticed the previous tire place had put the tire rotation backwards. He corrected that, luckily tires are new so the tread didn't get completely damaged. Definitely going back if I need anything tire related read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. They are scammers and overcharged me $40 to patch a tire and whenever I go to other places it's always $10. I had even asked beforehand how much it was going to be and he said it was going to be very cheap or even free. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

Fernando's Tires is AMAZING!! I live around the corner from this place with a 2018 Honda Fit that has endless tire issues. Not actual tire issues usually but the tire light goes on in my car way too often for no reason. Jose always helps me out! He is extremely nice and wonderfully patient. His prices are super fair and he's even checked out my tires for free before and has helped me put air in them and reset my light warning system. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Their business hours are 7am-8pm EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK but Jose lives nearby and is actually on call and available for service 24/7. He provides roadside assistance in the middle of the night or you can get your car towed here any time and he will hook you up and help you out. As a person who has gotten flat tires at the most inconvenient hours, this is an incredible amenity!! Also, Jose's wife and kids can often be seen at the shop and they are so nice and fun. They are even super sweet to my dogs when we walk by! This is a family owned business named for Jose's late uncle Fernando. Highly, highly recommended! :) read more

Came yesterday around 2:30am , thankfully they were open late , Jose there told me he could do $200 for TWO Pirelli 255 30 20 , made me zelle before the job was finished and only ended up changing the front left side , when I told him about what we agreed on ( $200 for both tires ) he just looked at me confused and said he didn't remember saying that . At this moment I knew he was taking advantage of the situation and I didn't want to deal with it . I told him again we agreed on $200 for BOTH but he said he didn't say that , considering the fact that I offered $150 for 1 used tire and then he offered to sell me both if I did $200 makes it all seem shady and sketchy . He took my # down to " exchange tires " when my correct size and model come in and told me I could pay the difference , which is not what I wanted to do . He also scratched up my brand new wheels which at this point was the least of my worries , just be on point if you have an inconvenience late at night. His name is JOSE , also read a few bad reviews with his name mentioned, unfortunate they keep someone like this at work , most reviews are good but all it takes is one employee to ruin it. read more
