07/16/25 - Saved by Go Tires (and Edwin!) This could've been the most stressful ending to what was a fun, spontaneous trip to LA... but thanks to Edwin at Go Tires, it turned into a story of pure relief and gratitude. Right as I was getting ready to head back to the Bay Area, my car flashes the dreaded low tire pressure warning -- 26 PSI. I'm in unfamiliar territory, it's already 7PM, and most tire shops are long closed by then. Total panic moment. I jumped on Yelp, hoping for a miracle, and boom -- Go Tires pops up with solid 5-star reviews and open until 9PM. YES! I called, and Edwin picked up right away. Super calm and helpful. He texted me the address -- only 15 minutes away -- and I was on my way, gripping the steering wheel and hoping my tire didn't give out on me... The second I pulled into the garage, Edwin greeted me with a smile and immediately got to work. No waiting, no upsell, just efficient and kind service. He patched up my tire, checked the others, and had me back on the road in under 45 minutes. Honestly, the price was more than fair -- especially for an after-hours, last-minute emergency. But more than that, it was the peace of mind he gave me. Edwin truly went above and beyond, and I can't thank him enough. Lo barato sale caro. I initially came here because I had a flat tire and this shop was the closest place to me at that time. They told me my other tires needed replacement which was true, so I decided to change all four for $500 new tires. At the time, I thought it was a good deal! but I was wrong. :/ Despite their great customer service, my experience with their tire quality was extremely disappointing and honestly scary and exhausting to deal with. The first time, minutes after leaving the shop, I got a flat tire. Edwin, the man in charge, blamed my rim and offered to send someone out to replace the tire, which I accepted. The second time, I went in for a simple patch due to a nail in a completely different tire and rim (from driving through an alley). Once again, right after leaving their shop, the tire literally exploded!! while I was driving on the freeway. My car swerved, and I barely managed to pull over onto the emergency lane. I was terrified and overwhelmed, could have easily been in a serious accident with a whole more severe damage to my vehicle and myself. Before leaving the shop that day, I had specifically asked Edwin multiple times to reassure me that I wouldn't be stranded again like the first time. He suggested the patch, I told him if I had to get a new tire or rim I would rather buy it than put myself in a risky situation, he still reassured me that the patch would be better and I took his word for it. Yet it happened anyway. When I called him immediately after the blowout, he again blamed the rim, but I highly doubt that's what it is, it's either the installation on how they put the tire or it's the tire quality. What concerns me most is that this happened with different tires and different rims, yet the same issue occurred right after service!! Both times, I had someone come and replace my tire with the replacement that I bought from them as well (used) & it already had a patch on it :/ Which I regret not being able to know about these kind of things, this terrible experience wouldn't be happening. That makes me seriously question whether the tires were installed correctly or if the tires themselves were old, worn out, or damaged from long exposure to the sun¿ After two dangerous incidents, I completely lost trust. Even though Edwin offered to come replace the tire again, I refused!!!! after two times, I wasn't willing to risk a third. I don't want to end up in the hospital over tires. It's truly a shame because their customer service is good, and I wanted to become a regular here. Unfortunately, I now have to spend three times as much elsewhere to buy quality tires and new rims, since mine were damaged from the tire exploding on the freeway. I should have paid for quality from the beginning. Please beware, especially when it comes to tire services. Maybe they're good for other things, but I am very skeptical about their tires. I will not be returning, and I hope to come to an understanding with Edwin on how he can make this right. (Will update) read more

Came here to get all 4 tires replaced. The only employee there at the time could BARELY speak English. He told me it would cost $70 per tire, which is insane. I'm thinking maybe it's "inflation". I ask google what the avg cost is for my vehicle, google says $30-$60. I call the other tire shop I was considering going to, they tell me $50-$60 depending on the size of the tire. I'm like whatever, I'm in a rush, I agree to the $70 per tire, even though I was obviously being overcharged. I ask the guy if they also do brakes, out of curiosity to see how much they overcharge for that as well. The guy has no idea what "do you guys do brakes?" means...not even kidding. He pulls out google translate, I say it again..."do you guys do brakes?". He reads the translation & goes ‍ At this point I just say never mind. I sit down & wait for him to replace my tires...10 min go by, he hasn't even started. He pulls out a box & begins to look at what appears to be black sheets of paper. He does this for over 5 min, this clearly has absolutely NOTHING to do with my car, I stand up & leave. I called about getting my tire changed and Edwin said they take walk-ins! I was able to come shortly after calling and got my tire changed in less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Right before finishing, he noticed that I had leftover sticker residue from the Warning sticker on my drivers side window and went out of his way to wipe it clean off for me with Windex and a stainless steel blade.
