The manager Estevan is awesome!! My family and I are on a summer road trip from AZ and are traveling in our van. Unfortunately, the van is a little too high for the drive thru clearance and the dine in option is currently unavailable due to the covid crisis. Luckily, the manager Estevan was willing to take our order from the front door and bring our food out. Great customer service and very mindful of the manager to be willing to take our order from outside. If upper management gets a chance to see this review, you guys have a great employee in your hands willing to go above and beyond! read more

After try to go to a local restaurant while traveling we chose WhatBurger. Priced right, good food, prompt service, and no wait. Ladies bathroom could use some attention. read more

Whataburger - Drive through - Burgers Near Me - Roswell, New Mexico

I ordered a jalapeno cheddar biscuit and I think the cashier heard me wrong. I went opened it up and it's just a biscuit with jalapenos, I'm laughing so hard. The sandwhich was still good and the staff was super nice I was just surprised by this. read more

Whataburger - Burgers Near Me - Roswell, New Mexico

This was absolutely ridiculous I waited for 30 minutes 2 burgers. First my order was mistaken for a salad then my drink was forgotten then I still had to wait for the other order and my receipt needed to be checked again and then again. I had to move my car from the window then again and finally I was asked to just park and after 10 minutes I went inside and still had to wait on my order. Unreal service read more

Whataburger - Receipt - Burgers Near Me - Roswell, New Mexico

Those that know me know Whataburger is bae. As a Texan, I miss having one up the road from me at all times, but on three occasions now, I've gone to this location. Once my order was correct but the fries were cold, once my order was hot but the order was wrong, and on my last trip, I exited the drive-thru because the person taking my order couldn't seem to understand a word out of my life. I don't know if the microphone is poor to the point they can't hear anything or what, but this little taste from home is rather disappointing. read more

I am ashamed to even give this restaurant ONE STAR. First of all, got up to the drive thru speaker and they were out of a long list of things..including fries and chicken strips! I decided to get my usual chicken strip sandwich and substitute the strips for a patty since they were out, not knowing there would be a $5 up charge! I get to the window and the workers were very rude. I could see them scrolling through their phones WHILE WEARING THEIR GLOVES THEY WEAR TO MAKE FOOD and goofing off. The food was cold. And one of the burgers was made completely wrong. When I called and asked to speak to the manager, they were so rude & disrespectful. I usually love whataburger, but this one is a huge disappointment! read more

Literally just at this location and no one was taking our order. The woman on the speaker was taking more than 10 minutes going on and off mic. We just left because she never was available to take our order, and we rolled around to see a huge line of people apparently waiting for food. Have no idea what is going on, but it's 1:31 pm, and the place went from no line to a zoo. Very confusing. I'd like an explanation. read more

I never write reviews and here is my caution: don't stop here! We waited over 40 minutes for food. People came in after, ordered and left while we waited. Never stopping here again. read more

This location is nothing like anywhere in SouthTexas. I went in expecting WHATABURGER due to the REVIEWS but apparently the folks doing the reviews hadn't been to a LEGIT WHATABURGER. With that said service is beyond POOR, attention to detail non existent, your getting a burger from one of those 3 burgers for a dollar joints. You've been warned... read more

Food was good but it took a long time. There was a mushroom in my dr.pepper so I don't know what that was about, probably won't go back

We had excellent service from Daniel at Whataburger! He was very kind to explain what's on each type of burger, and he helped my mom order exactly what she wanted (and she's picky!) The food was awesome too-- fries were perfectly crispy and salty and the burgers were great! I would highly recommend this place for their great customer service ! read more

Out of town, and with covid restrictions of course the drive through was packed. Have to say, there were enough employees, and all with smiling faces trying to get the burgers out the door! My burger was really good, and I don't live in Roswell, NM or know anyone working at this Whataburger. Truly saying: fantastic job executing orders and organizing traffic. Marcos - manager? You can tell when there is a good manager because the employees care where there paychecks come from: the customers. Thank you all at Whataburger Roswell, for reminding me that employees need to be happy too! read more

The food is good, easy to crave again at times. However, depending on who's working, the staff will be hit or miss. They've hired some sketchy people, usually high-school girls who will help themselves to a tip out of your cash, inputting the wrong cash amount, presumably so they can pocket a dollar.. or maybe they're just really that dumb. Doubt it though. Food is good, but count your money back thoroughly. read more

What a Burger ???? We never got it. We waited over 30 minutes and saw a lot of people ordering after us who got their meals. We finally went to the counter and asked for our food. They looked it up. They explained, that the order had not printed, so the meal had not been made at all. No sorry about that or anything. We asked to have our money back and left. Worst experience ever. Came home with ice cream in our trunk all melted :-( read more

Dine-in unavailable. Unable to utilize drive thru with trailer attached to pickup. Had to download app to get food service. Food service slow and had to call store to confirm receipt of online order after waiting outside for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. When food was delivered, team member was friendly. No napkins with our meals. read more

Good quality burger and friendly staff. One staff member went above and beyond explaining what's there to do in town. Although our meal wasn't perfect I called in and asked to get a refund for one burger because they missed the spicy sauce and we were already on the go. Instead of refunding just one thing they refunded the whole meal. I appreciate the manager going above and beyond. Anytime we are in the area will be glad to stop by. read more

Having never been to a Whataburger before, I was anxious to finally try one while visiting Roswell. I found the burger to be very uninspiring and really dry. It would have been much better with thousand island dressing instead of just a little mustard. However, my main complaint was the very poor service I received there. I also echo the previous complaints regarding the fairly dirty conditions of the tables. read more

My family and I stopped in this Whataburger for a quick lunch while on a road trip. However we ended up being there for a while and it took about 20 minutes for us to get 2 burgers. I don't mind waiting most of the time however people who ordered more food after us were getting their food before we did. The second problem we ran into was that the restaurant was disgusting and there were flies everywhere. We could barely eat with all of the flies swarming our food. If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. read more

Always have great service here, amazing Whataburger food and THE BEST TEA in Roswell!!! We frequent here - our whole family loves it!

Don't order online and wait in your pickup spot. Checked in online and 15 minutes waiting in spot1 temp 103, I finally gave up and went inside. There they had my food sitting under the counter with no heating lamps. read more

I normally never leave yelp reviews, but this particular Whataburger left something to be desired. Not one aspect of this fast food establishment even came close to impressing me. First, the service. Upon walking in, the employees were talking to each other, ignoring the guests in front of them. After about a minute or two, they began to help the increasing line of customers. We ordered quickly, and then sat down. Next, the overall appearance of the restaurant. There wasn't one table that didn't have crumbs, food, or napkins on it, and the floor was horrendous. There was an abundance of dead bugs and various trash on the floor. The women's restroom was less than stellar, and could have used a good cleaning. However, the flies were arguably the worst part of this less than exceptional experience. We were constantly swatting the dozens of flies away from our food. At this point, I was just ready to leave. Finally, the food. After waiting about 30 minutes, our food arrived. We arrived to Whataburger at 2:50, and left at 3:45. Not so quick for "fast" food. Our salad was missing it's dressing, and my hamburger was made completely wrong. The middle of the hamburger was also completely cold. No one at my table finished their food. I personally have experience in fast food, and I hate to leave poor reviews. However, with the customer service, cleanliness, and overall production of this Whataburger, I believe a one-star is much deserved. read more

Whataburger - Spilling its guts lol... - Burgers Near Me - Roswell, New Mexico

Since I've never been to a Whataburger and we don't have them near us, we decided to give it a try. We got the Green Chile Double, Patty Melt and the Bacon and Cheese Whataburger and decided to skip the fries, which were just the standard shoestring. My favorite of the three was the Green Chile burger that had just enough kick to it from the chiles but it didn't take our head off with heat. On the other hand, the special sauce they put on the Patty Melt had some fire to it. I didn't care for the melt being made with Texas toast...I prefer wheat or rye for my patty melts, because that much bread just drowns out the meat. The Bacon and Cheese Whataburger reminded us of Wendy's. When we travel, we'll be sure to look for Whataburgers...I'd love to try them again. read more

Loved the staff here as it was our first time at one of these locations! The meal took a good 15 minutes to get as it is made to order....Thank God because there was an infestation of flies!!! The staff apologized profusely because they could tell we weren't accustomed to so many flies in an eating establishment! One poor staff member was assigned to walk around with a fly swatter to swat flies!!! Yikes! Well we opted out to take our food back to our room instead of eating there! Can't rave about the food as it didn't really stand out. read more

Horrible service, did an online order and waited 30 minutes past the scheduled time and ended up leaving empty handed because they had no estimate of when our food would be ready. Lots of angry customers waiting at the door for their food. Don't waste your time here. read more

Super rude service wasn't greeted just got a half ass "what can I get for you?" They charged me for a large fry but didn't give me them and no toast even though the menu says it comes with toast. Whataburger - My receipt with the employees name. - Burgers Near Me - Roswell, New Mexico

No matter where I travel, all other restaurants fall to the wayside if there is a Whataburger in town. I really don't branch out and try new things, I stick with my Patty Melt meal and savor it. Service at this location was good. Staff was friendly and got my food out in a timely manner. The lobby/eating area was clean enough for it being during the lunch rush. What was unacceptable was the bathroom. When I walked in there was water standing on the floor at the urinals coming out from the wall at least 2 feet. The sink looked like someone covered in coal dust had taken a bath there. I give it 4 stars still because the food is so good. I just wouldn't use the bathroom there. read more

The food scene in Roswell is about what you'd expect for a town this size, though I'm pretty let down that there weren't more mom & pop options available on the main drag. We were coming through town, dying of hunger when what did I spy with my little eye? Whataburger! Yay! Reliable, filling, and good. We stopped, sat down, and had lunch. This place is super clean, staff was nice, and our food came exactly as ordered. My burger was good, my fries were hot, and I left happy. What more could I ask for in a place like Roswell? read more

My husband ordered and paid for our food online and then went to go get it and had to wait in line for an hour. I wanted a biscuit sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese and only got a dry ass sausage patty on a dry ass biscuit. The hashbrown sticks were soggy and fell apart, and you only get three. The chocolate milk I ordered is one you would get in a kids happy meal, but tasted good. The best part of the meal I got was the cinnamon roll. Terrible. read more

Seems like it is severely understaffed or just poorly managed. Food takes forever and the drive thru is basically a joke. Don't plan on coming undoes you have at least and hour set aside to wait in line. read more

Stopped in at about 10 PM while on the road. The service was pretty quick, and they were all very friendly. The food wasn't that great, I got the chicken tenders which comes with gravy, and the gravy was cold. They do give you a lot of food for the price though. It was better than your average fast food joint, but compared to anything else, it wasn't special. read more

I can not express how happy I was to see that big Orange 'W' after days of driving through Colorado and Wyoming. We were exhausted and still had 4-5 hrs to drive home so we decided to stay in Roswell and jist get some food to go and eat in our hotel. Whataburger saved the day.
