The manager Estevan is awesome!! My family and I are on a summer road trip from AZ and are traveling in our van. Unfortunately, the van is a little too high for the drive thru clearance and the dine in option is currently unavailable due to the covid crisis. Luckily, the manager Estevan was willing to take our order from the front door and bring our food out. Great customer service and very mindful of the manager to be willing to take our order from outside. Those that know me know Whataburger is bae. As a Texan, I miss having one up the road from me at all times, but on three occasions now, I've gone to this location. Once my order was correct but the fries were cold, once my order was hot but the order was wrong, and on my last trip, I exited the drive-thru because the person taking my order couldn't seem to understand a word out of my life. I am ashamed to even give this restaurant ONE STAR. First of all, got up to the drive thru speaker and they were out of a long list of things..including fries and chicken strips! I decided to get my usual chicken strip sandwich and substitute the strips for a patty since they were out, not knowing there would be a $5 up charge! I get to the window and the workers were very rude. I could see them scrolling through their phones WHILE WEARING THEIR GLOVES THEY WEAR TO MAKE FOOD and goofing off. The food was cold. Out of town, and with covid restrictions of course the drive through was packed. Have to say, there were enough employees, and all with smiling faces trying to get the burgers out the door! The food is good, easy to crave again at times. However, depending on who's working, the staff will be hit or miss. They've hired some sketchy people, usually high-school girls who will help themselves to a tip out of your cash, inputting the wrong cash amount, presumably so they can pocket a dollar.. or maybe they're just really that dumb. Good quality burger and friendly staff. One staff member went above and beyond explaining what's there to do in town. Although our meal wasn't perfect I called in and asked to get a refund for one burger because they missed the spicy sauce and we were already on the go. My family and I stopped in this Whataburger for a quick lunch while on a road trip. However we ended up being there for a while and it took about 20 minutes for us to get 2 burgers. I don't mind waiting most of the time however people who ordered more food after us were getting their food before we did. The second problem we ran into was that the restaurant was disgusting and there were flies everywhere. We could barely eat with all of the flies swarming our food. Having never been to a Whataburger before, I was anxious to finally try one while visiting Roswell. I found the burger to be very uninspiring and really dry. It would have been much better with thousand island dressing instead of just a little mustard. However, my main complaint was the very poor service I received there. I normally never leave yelp reviews, but this particular Whataburger left something to be desired. Not one aspect of this fast food establishment even came close to impressing me. First, the service. Upon walking in, the employees were talking to each other, ignoring the guests in front of them. After about a minute or two, they began to help the increasing line of customers. We ordered quickly, and then sat down. Next, the overall appearance of the restaurant. There wasn't one table that didn't have crumbs, food, or napkins on it, and the floor was horrendous. There was an abundance of dead bugs and various trash on the floor. The women's restroom was less than stellar, and could have used a good cleaning. However, the flies were arguably the worst part of this less than exceptional experience. We were constantly swatting the dozens of flies away from our food. At this point, I was just ready to leave. Finally, the food. After waiting about 30 minutes, our food arrived. We arrived to Whataburger at 2:50, and left at 3:45. Not so quick for "fast" food. Our salad was missing it's dressing, and my hamburger was made completely wrong. The middle of the hamburger was also completely cold. No one at my table finished their food. I personally have experience in fast food, and I hate to leave poor reviews. However, with the customer service, cleanliness, and overall production of this Whataburger, I believe a one-star is much deserved. read more

Loved the staff here as it was our first time at one of these locations! The meal took a good 15 minutes to get as it is made to order....Thank God because there was an infestation of flies!!! The staff apologized profusely because they could tell we weren't accustomed to so many flies in an eating establishment! My husband ordered and paid for our food online and then went to go get it and had to wait in line for an hour. I wanted a biscuit sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese and only got a dry ass sausage patty on a dry ass biscuit. The hashbrown sticks were soggy and fell apart, and you only get three. Since I've never been to a Whataburger and we don't have them near us, we decided to give it a try. We got the Green Chile Double, Patty Melt and the Bacon and Cheese Whataburger and decided to skip the fries, which were just the standard shoestring. My favorite of the three was the Green Chile burger that had just enough kick to it from the chiles but it didn't take our head off with heat. On the other hand, the special sauce they put on the Patty Melt had some fire to it. I didn't care for the melt being made with Texas toast...I prefer wheat or rye for my patty melts, because that much bread just drowns out the meat. The Bacon and Cheese Whataburger reminded us of Wendy's. When we travel, we'll be sure to look for Whataburgers...I'd love to try them again. read more

I can not express how happy I was to see that big Orange 'W' after days of driving through Colorado and Wyoming. No matter where I travel, all other restaurants fall to the wayside if there is a Whataburger in town. I really don't branch out and try new things, I stick with my Patty Melt meal and savor it. Service at this location was good. Staff was friendly and got my food out in a timely manner. The lobby/eating area was clean enough for it being during the lunch rush. What was unacceptable was the bathroom. When I walked in there was water standing on the floor at the urinals coming out from the wall at least 2 feet. The sink looked like someone covered in coal dust had taken a bath there. I give it 4 stars still because the food is so good. I just wouldn't use the bathroom there. read more
