Not rating the food, obviously.... Coming to Roswell means that you have to immerse yourself in all things extraterrestrial. This McDonald's offers that opportunity. There are gray aliens outside guarding the ship shaped dinning room, and a very nice mural that you can see from the drive thru. Inside, it all looks like a regular franchise, until you go towards the back and sit in the spaceship. Some of the decorations that make everything "out of this world", but you certainly know you are still of planet Earth. Service is good, food is good, place is clean and full of locals. read more

Obviously the only McDonald's probably in the world worth going to. I don't know if there is any cooler McDonald's than this. I hope to take my kids here someday so they can imagine being inside the ufo playplace! Lots of cool lights on the exterior and silly space themed art on the inside. Workers were attentive and focused on maintaining cleanliness. :) I did not get to eat anything from here, so I can't speak on food quality. read more

This is the coolest McDonald's I've ever been to. It's a space ship. The place where you order is regular side . The problem person working there was very helpful. The spaceship was the kids play area. My son is into aliens and he loved it. We had lunch for under $30 you really can't beat that. read more

A four-star review from me for a McDonald's is a monumental surprise. But this isn't your grandma's Mickey D's. On a road trip through New Mexico, we spent a night in Roswell. Due to the Roswell incident, Roswell makes a lot of money off of tourism and really plays off of the alien theme. With alien-themed restaurants, museums, gift shops, etc. all over the place, McDonald's, out of everyone really stands out. That's because the freaking fast food joint is shaped like a UFO. You have to stop by and take pictures because it's that cool. I'm not a fan of the food, though I will say their chicken McNuggets are solid. Though I guess it's not real chicken. We went inside as we felt a need to give them our business given how cool the place is. The alien theme continues inside as the play area is alien-themed. McDonald's characters, including Ronald McDonald, hang from the ceiling in astronaut suits and stuff like that. Very, very cool. Well done, McDonald's. read more

Five Stars? For a McDonald's review? Am I crazy?! No. I am not. This is five stars as good as it gets (at McDonalds). Yes there is a bit of a caveat here, but let me "ehhsplain." On a recent trip through Roswell we stopped in at this charming "Space Ship" themed Mcdonald's to use the restroom and get some sodas . Then I was all, "What the hell, I'll have an Egg McMuffin." So B. got breakfast too, and we had the nicest time I've had at any fast food restaurant ever. The manager of this store obviously goes out of their way to be inclusive of EVERYONE when they hire, and the employees were SO genuinely nice and friendly. The store was immaculately clean, and was decorated with fun, spacey/alien type things, like Grimace in astronaut gear etc. Way more thought went into theming this restaurant than the boring, green wooden aliens outside most of the other fast food places along the main strip. The food was fine, I mean, its Mikki D's, so it is what it is. Stop in here for the experience, and have a Mcmuffin while you're at it. read more

We had a wonderful experience here just last week. I visited with my friends (who are all local) and we had a great time eating the food. The fun aliens, UFOs, and space decor add to an exciting experience, and is done in a way that isn't too much or too cheesy, just plain old fun! The big reason why I am writing this positive review, though, is because while we were dining in, the coolest and most kind guy walked up to our table. He checked in on how we were liking everything, and how the food was tasting. Great at-table service one wouldn't expect at any fast food restaurant! After we responded positively about everything, he offered my boyfriend a refill of FRIES and offered me a refill on my Caramel Iced Coffee: all on him! He asked if he could get us anything else on the menu - his treat. While everyone in our party declined (we were already full of the food we had, and I did not need another coffee at 10pm), he introduced himself as the owner and told him he was happy we were enjoying everything, and to find him if we needed anything. He did this to several other tables, and made sure everyone was having the best time he could offer. This was extremely memorable for him to offer such unexpected refills, great service, and the kindest introduction. I would come here anytime I am in need of a McDonalds (drive-thru OR dine-in), want to show the alien/UFO spirit of Roswell to a visitor of ANY age, or hope to see the coolest owner in town. Best McDonald's I've ever been to! The kids had a blast in the play area and we tried the green Chile cheeseburger. We had a great time!

-1 if possible. I mobile ordered a cookie tote and it took over 40 minutes to receive. It wasn't until I got out my car and walked in and asked what was going on. The cashier asked The young manager where they were, they both look s confused, she never even looked up once to apologize, management if you can please really consider who you promote, thin young lady with glasses, ugly attitude, and it was between 7:40pm and 8:30pm, you guys can see who the manager on shift was, I've been a manager at a McDonald's, and believe me, if I had a positive attitude my crew had a positive attitude. please, if these "managers" don't like there job, demote them, and if you don't like to talk to people, customer service isn't for you. Very nice McDonalds. The UFO thing is of course cool, but the staff was very nice. We went inside and they had two animatronic aliens I started videoing. The lady behind the counter was like "hey I can turn them on for you if you'd like!" It was so nice of her to do that. So we got good video. Even with the Covid mess they still allowed us to eat in the UFO and were very friendly about it. Also a personal plus they are playing worship music. As Christians my wife and I were pleased to hear that. With the music and friendly staff we thought we were at Chick Fil A! Keep it up guys. I feel silly reviewing a McDonald's, but this is no ordinary McDonald's. This is the only McDonald's in the world that is shaped like a UFO!! We didn't want to actually "waste" a meal here because we wanted to get as much New Mexican green chili in our bodies as humanly possible. So after our actual dinner, we stopped by here (at night when it was all lit up of course!) for McFlurries. The menu is obviously the same as an regular ol' McDonald's, but I did enjoy seeing the UFO all lit up and the Roswell aliens on the electronic sign. The play place inside is also decked out with a Chicken McNugget in space and astronaut Ronald, Grimace and Birdie. It certainly isn't worth your time to drive here, but it was a fun stop and well, I got ice cream, so anything with ice cream automatically gets 2 stars. read more

McDonald is basically like everywhere else honestly EXCEPT this one is made to look like a freaking UFO! So you have to come here just to see it! Inside they also have alien themed designs as well as the play place. Unfortunately adults aren't allowed inside the play place so I couldn't investigate further. This Mcdonald's is basically the same sort you'll find anywhere else. The service was quick and easy. We were passing through town on a road trip and needed a place to have an afternoon snack. When we walked in there was such an awful smell that we lost our appetites. WOW! I rarely write reviews, so who would've thought I'd be taking the time to write one for McDonald's of all places. However, this UFO-themed McDonald's is not your average franchise location. I'm not just talking about the awesome and entertaining decor (I wanna go back!). I'm actually talking about the exceptional customer service my husband and I received inside. I felt like I was in a Chick-fil-A, not a McDonald's--and we all know what a stark difference there usually is between customer service at the two. A man that I assume was the manager was surveying the place to make sure everything was in good order, and a friendly employee checked in on us not once but twice to ask us if we needed anything, like ketchup or napkins, and to make sure our experience was pleasant. Well, it was! The only reason we ate at McDonald's that day was because there aren't really any themed restaurants in Roswell besides this one, but we were both so glad we came here. Thank you to the UFO-themed Roswell team for maintaining a super fun and unique aesthetic, a clean and well-running environment inside, the nice music playing, and your attention to detail and to your customers.
