Absolutely LOVED this place!! So very clean, well spaced, and good music! Salad was fresh, angus burger was really good with the bread being amazing, and the Mac & cheese concoction was perfectly spiced. Husband and kids enjoyed a game of pool while we waited for our food. Ezzel was super welcoming and helpful! Mariah was sweet. Chef Anthony was super informative and his food was delicious! Thank you for an awesome lunch! read more

1st time here and I had the steak fingers and onion rings. Both were fabulous, the steak fingers were the best I have ever had so tender. Onion rings hit the spot! Highly recomend! read more

Clean restaurant located in a church building with excellent counter service and delicious food!

Solid cafe food food with generous portions and extremely friendly service! Only slight complaint was that the room was freezing cold lol but better chilly than hot! I ordered the chicken Cesar wrap and it was delicious- generous with the dressing and lots of chicken so it made a solid meal. The people who got burgers all looked happy and the salad was also a good sized portion. Sweet potato fries were good and the onion rings looked amazing. The cashier was super friendly as were the staff who cleared our table- all in all I'd recommend it! They also have some free games available but we were on our way somewhere and didn't hang out. read more

First I'd like to say that it's worth the wait if it's busy. I ordered the stuffed Jalapeños and chicken strips and also had their BLT. Food was perfect, and could tell they take pride in thie restaurant. I would highly recipes this place and hope they do well enough to open a North location. But it is worth the drive. read more

This was a surprise find and one that we were thrilled to stumble into. The staff was lovely and it quickly became clear that they were supporters of a greater cause. The food was just what was needed after a long drive. The location is interesting, certainly not a normal restaurant, but this is due to their mission. The family will return when we are next passing through. read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way home to Texas from Northern New Mexico. Friendly faces, fantastic food, and great atmosphere! If we had our kids with us on this trip they would have loved to play on the pool tables, air hockey table, and giant chess board. These free features are great after being in a car all day. Thank you Valley Cafe for the great experience. read more

We loved the Valley Cafe. The outside is unassuming, we were even sure if we were at the right place. You walk in and it is huge. You walk up to a counter, place your order and grab a table. We started with the tomato bisque soup which was absolutely the best soup I've ever had. We loved it so much we took a quart home. Then we split a burger fried avocado burger with tater tots, it was a home run. It is family owned, the chef and staff walked to each table to be sure you were happy. I wish I took a picture but the food came and we dove right in read more

Best patty melt I've had in years. Great hospitality and service. The burger, green chile peppers, onions along with the toasted bread were perfectly cooked. read more

The food was fresh and tasted great after a long day of traveling. I had the angus chuck burger with tots and sweet peach tea. The angus patty was thick and cooked medium - was not dry. The bun was fresh and the tots were hot and crispy. Service was so nice and courteous. The cafe is large and super clean. Highly recommend. read more

Ordered for pick up last night. Their website made the ordering fast and easy. I ordered the slim Jim burger with fries and my wife ordered the angus chuck burger with onion rings. Both were delicious! The onion rings were very crispy as were the fries, even after sitting in the to go box for a few minutes. I will definitely be ordering from them again read more

We were driving through Roswell and wanted a cute, unique lunch. This was the perfect place! I had a Jamwich ( with a homemade pineapple jalapeño jam that was spectacular) that was out of this world! The chef himself came out to give iced tea refills and once asked , told us all about the restaurant and the mission. Not only is the food delicious, but the mission is inspirational! Their proceeds go to support people in need - and they have already had a hotel donated end helped provide shelter!! Definitely go here, play a game of pool and have an amazing meal! It's well worth the stop!! read more

Seriously top notch food. Eat there. This is the kind of place that other restaurants strive to be.

Clean environment & friendly service with good food. A bit pricey, but the quality was there. I didn't realize this restaurant was owned and operated by the church, but it definitely is.... The not so subtle Christian music playing & "god bless you" at the end of ordering was a turnoff for me. But hey - to each their own - decent stop read more

After landing at the airport, Stopped in for a sandwich based on the great reviews. Had the best grilled chicken BLT I've ever had. The green chile soup was delicious as well. Great place!! We will be back when we come through Roswell. read more

What a wonderful stop on our way from Texas to California! We checked out the Toy museum in downtown Roswell and asked for dinner recommendations. This did not disappoint! We played games, the food was delicious, the service was incredibly pleasant and their mission is the cherry on top. Thank you for a fantastic evening and for filling our cups with more than beverages! read more

Food was amazing. Bountiful and extremely flavorful. Staff was professional and extremely helpful. Prices were reasonable Clean and fun! Bonus was the story and mission behind the restaurant. read more

It was a little hard to find as another person mentioned, it's in an industrial looking building. The food was amazing and cooked when ordered fresh. Even the side salad was freshly made - not partially from a bag. The service was spot on and efficient! Just a side note, I believe the cafe is somehow affiliated with "church on the move". Christian music was playing and the staff shirts have a Christian message. If it is community outreach- which it appeared to me, I applaud them. The chef is a young man and making a difference. read more

Visiting Roswell and came across this with the recent reviews and it did not disappoint. The food and service were top notch! The staff were friendly and gave great recommendations. The Valley Cafe - Coconut Cream Pie - Sandwiches Near Me - Roswell, New Mexico

Cool little place in a mostly non descript building that is the youth center. This gives plenty of room to sit and a cool place with pool tables and such. You order at the counter with a super friendly staff. I ordered the Green Chili patty melt medium. With Tots. It was delivered super hot to my table. It was amazing! Cooked perfectly, Super yummy with perfectly toasted sourdough and melty cheese, green chilis, spicy mayo and grilled onions. It was a big burger too! The tots were cooked perfectly crispy. Great little place to get a bite to eat if you can find it! read more

Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed the turkey melt and iced tea very much. Service was friendly and food arrived promptly. Oddly cheap, perhaps because they are associated with the church? The space is really odd but very open and apparently well ventilated, which I appreciate for COVID concerns. The biggest downside (for me) is that it's wayyyy at the far south end of town and when I'm here for work I'm usually towards the north end. So it's a pretty long drive. But for a good sandwich at a great price on the south end of town, it's worth a return visit. read more

Absolutely horrible food and experience. Mcdonalds was better, fresher and much cheaper. NEVER again

This was the 2nd time we've stopped and eaten here while visiting Roswell and it was amazing both times! Highly recommend - food delicious - Chef Anthony gets a 10 out of 10!! read more

The food is absolutely delicious. We stopped here for lunch based on the reviews and this place DID NOT disappoint. So GOOD! Yum !

Both food and service are above average, I give them a 4 overall. For ambiance it's a 3, the dining area borders a recreational area and it appears that they've accomplish what they set out to do. No complaints from me on it. read more

The food was very good! The atmosphere was fun and would be a great place for kids! Christian based environment and I loved that!

My husband and I had the best dinner at the Valley Cafe. We were warmly greeted and the BBQ chicken sandwich and enchilada ensalada were fresh and tasty. Service was swift and personable. The place is big, airy and bright. We left full and happy. read more

The restaurant is part of the church across the street. The youth center is used for Valley Cafe and is nice airy and clean. There is a pool table, Foote ball table and large chess pieces to play. My family stopped for lunch while making our way back home from vacationing in Denver. Great place with good food. Had a nice little game area my girls were able to play and entertain themselves. What a gem! A short drive outside of town, but worth it. Best burger I've had in a while. Generous toppings, fresh ingredients. They even had a GF bun! Service was excellent: from ordering to keeping your iced tea topped off. Kind and attentive ladies. They had the a/c blasting, but on a hot Roswell (100 degrees) day, I won't complain! Definitely will return. read more

Checking Yelp on our way through town, we ended up here after about an hour of driving passed closed-down restaurants. Thank goodness we found it since it's a little off the beaten path. My kids were excited to play Battleship and my husband and I played foosball while we waited for our food. It's a big modern space that doubles as a church, or is at least connected with the church across the street. There are bibles at the entrance, but luckily that didn't dissuade us from eating there because it was fresh and tasty and the staff was friendly and attentive. No proselytizing, just a comfy delicious stop on our way back to ABQ. read more
