I found the Caldillo soup to be wonderfully unique.
Paul C.

This was a surprise find and one that we were thrilled to stumble into. The staff was lovely and it quickly became clear that they were supporters of a greater cause. The food was just what was needed after a long drive. The location is interesting, certainly not a normal restaurant, but this is due to their mission. The family will return when we are next passing through.

A great spot

This place is a MUST. The food is not good....it's FANTASTIC! You havr to try their deep fried poppers. They're our favorite. Their chicken fried steak could feed an army! The staff is very kind and so friendly! You have to visit!

Food was made fresh and inspired by the chef. We had the Smash burger street tacos and they did not disappoint.

Seriously top notch food. Eat there. This is the kind of place that other restaurants strive to be.

Very cool spot with really delicious beverages. We had the Mocha Frappe and the Dirty Horchata. The Dirty Horchata was so delicious and I've been wanting another but don't know if anywhere near me makes one. Will definitely stop here again next time I'm in Roswell. The service was good. Interior seating area is kind of that industrial warehouse look that has been common in the last decade or so among restaurants and eateries. Only confusing thing is, we paid with a card and weren't given an option to leave a tip. There were no tip jars either, but we didn't have cash anyway.

Pulled over to get a coffee before long shift. Super cute and clean. Young girl at counter was very friendly and nice when I took a little extra time trying to figure out what I wanted. On the large board behind the counter was the special drinks and food for the month of February. I decided to get a chocolate cherry iced latte with white chocolate instead of milk or dark. I also got the white chocolate strawberry scone. The scone came warmed , it was so good I should have gotten 2 of them. My iced drink was good, even with swapping out of white chocolate it was tasty but a bit on the sweet side. They also have milk alternatives, I got oatmilk. I like that they use paper cups to help with the over use of plastic cups and not a lot of places to recycle them.

The second you walk in, you know this is the coffee spot in town. The music, lighting, people, and overall energy made it clear why it was packed. Aliens everywhere, local art and curiosities lining the walls, and that effortlessly cool, eclectic vibe where you don't know where to look first--but in the best way. The food and drink held up just as well. Coffee and teas were solid, with a local tea vendor on site doing samples and selling loose-leaf blends, which was such a great touch. I had a vegan hummus salad that was genuinely good, plus some food bites, while my husband loved his burrito. I also stumbled upon handmade origami earrings (cranes and roses!) that I was obsessed with, along with books, swag, and random treasures--at one point I picked up a Japanese art book I would've bought instantly if it had been for sale. And just when you think you've seen it all, the space keeps going: a wine lounge in the back, a roasting operation, more rooms to explore. Huge credit to the staff--only a handful of employees holding down a nonstop crowd, all with great energy. If you're passing through New Mexico, even if Roswell is slightly out of the way, Stellar Coffee is absolutely worth the stop. The hidden wine lounge with speakeasy vibes is named Interstellar - SO CUTE !!

If you blink driving through Roswell, you might miss a lot but you won't miss Caliche's Frozen…read moreCustard. This place hits you like a neon time machine straight outta the 1950s. Lights glowing, vibes humming it's the kind of spot that practically demands a U-turn. Now listen when a place puts "custard" in the name, you don't argue... you commit. And that's exactly what we did. Grabbed a couple different frozen concoctions, passed 'em around like a proper taste test, and let me tell you worth every spoonful. Rich, smooth, the kind of cold treat that makes you slow down for a second and just appreciate life. But it ain't just about what's in the cup. The place is clean, the service is dialed in, and there's just something about it that feels... fun. Not manufactured fun real, old-school charm that's hard to fake. Bottom line? It made the list off looks alone but backed it up with the goods. Five stars. Would absolutely swing back through without thinking twice.

I went back again today, got their $7 burger combo, it came out very fast, and was solid although the fries were not hot. I really like that you can have them not make your sundae when you get your food, so you can have it after taking your time without it being soup.
