    #25 Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit
    Rishi P.

Never had it before and had to try it since I live in Texas. Hashbrowns are hashbrowns in my opinion as there wasn't much difference from others, it felt light on the salt which I liked though. The biscuit was on point and liked that I got extra honey cream spread as that was what made it great, the chicken was mild. If I can have a spicy Chick-fil-A with biscuit from whataburger it would be the best. I'll be back next time for just the biscuit as it was worth it for just that and they sell it separate. We did curbside and it was a lot quicker than other places

This place is everything you can imagine and more. The shakes are creamy, I mean, really creamy and the burgers are amazing. The prices are reasonable and the service is what you'd expect from a fast food joint. The place vibrant and clean. The best thing is the food.

Do you call that fries ? It looks like from yesterday. And also, I'm missing my Apple pie what the fuck is going on

It takes them more than 1 our and 45 minutes to make a burger that's crazy first and last time to order from there if they do have less than one star, I'll put it

Food was okay it's just the gravy that was the main part of the meal made my stomach turn looks very disgusting

This review is long overdue; When I say this I'm talking all locations. Unpopular opinion: Whataburger is not all that..it's mediocre at best. Def not worth the long wait and after waiting forever for food that's "made to order" it def gets cold fast and all the employees look miserable which causes this to have a rude demeanor and poor customer service making the overall experience less than ideal. Recently at another location I had a decent experience so for that location I'll leave a separate review but on every occasion that I've come to this one it's horrible. The management and owners should def work on boosting the morale because clearly it's taking an effect on the food.

Terrible service. It took 40 minutes to get through the line, which is ridiculous for a fast food establishment.

Worst and slowest Whataburger location I've ever been to. I've been disappointed many times over a year span.

I think the default is you should never order burgers for delivery and I'm going to start with that. We got 2 buddah burgers regular and small, fries and they gave us some chicken tenders. SCORE! Again this was a delivery order so the review is based on this specific experience. Initial bites in everything , flavor is bursting. Good quality beef , not super fatty (which I love- only want a greasy burger if it's thin), the quality of Ingredients over all were great. I think if I had gotten the burger without cheese and no lettuce I would have enjoyed it more. The melted cheese texture with the soggy lettuce did not last the trip, and I felt like they took away from the burger overall. The sauce was quite good it reminded me of a cross between egg salad and potato salad. The fries I think had like gochujan powder or something were good but if I had it fresh would probably have enjoyed more. Initial bite of tenders were really good but after bite 2 it was like too much bullion in the batter. But in a samich with some coleslaw to cut through the salt I think it would have been great. The only problem I had with the meal overall was the sodium level which had me feeling kinda bloated and sick (could have been from driving and eating a salty spicy chicken earlier). But I will definitely give it another shot and I would go in person for sure it's not a delivery type item and I would probably tweak my burger or samich a bit.

However the great pitmaster, John Brotherton, who made Brotherton's Black Iron Barbecue a legendary place passed away a year ago. He was only 49. His death was sudden and shocking. Net of being a great cook, he apparently was also a great human being. He was much beloved in the Pflugerville community. When a master chef dies, It is usually very hard to his or her restaurant to recover. Brotherton's has taken a serious serious loss. * * * 1) The brisket that was once exceptionally tasty now does not taste like much. 2) Ribs that were highly regarded are now nothing special. 3) I can't say whether the pitmaster was responsible for the sides. However the tater tot casserole has become unpleasant. The beans don't have anything to them. * * * Fortunately I was with charming and absolutely delightful company. So the conversation over the table sparkled. The living carry on many of the good things of life. Those good things take more forms than just the food we put in our mouths. * * * That said, Brotherton's is a serious reminder that death comes to us all. When we die, many of the good things we created die with us.

We were greeted by a lovely waitress who checked in on us and offered drink refills throughout our visit. The atmosphere felt very family friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was solid and satisfying. My guests both had the fried catfish and shrimp combo with mashed potatoes, and after trying both, I have to say those were excellent, honestly, I would choose that over the chicken fried steak next time. Overall, great food, friendly service, and a comfortable casual dining experience. Noticed they have a location in Leander as well, so I'll definitely be stopping by that one in the future!

I also like the layout of this 54th St. because the dining space is spread out and separate from the bar area but there is a lot of bar space as well depending on what you are looking for. This is a newer restaurant so the design and decore is more of a modern elegant look. I like the fact that you can order off of the happy hour menu in the bar or dining area and they have a lot to offer on their happy hour menu, including drinks and appetizers. At the time I visited, they offered a separate menu that allows you to pair up with another diner at your table to order a combination of select meals, appetizers, drinks, and desserts for a really good combination price. We chose a combination that gave us each an alcoholic beverage, a shared appetizer, and two entrées. We shared the gringo dip and chips and for my entrée I had the chicken bucatini. It was a delicious blackened chicken and pasta in an alfredo sauce and it was delicious. My daughter had a soup and sandwich combo. That was a very generous portion for the price point as well. For an appetizer, we ordered the chips with Gringo Dip, which is one of my favorites. I usually go with the Rattlesnake Pasta (it has a nice little kick to it), but this time I tried the Gyro Pita with fries. The portions were generous, and the gyro was delicious and very filling. I'm personally not a big fan of lettuce in my gyro, but it didn't take away from the overall flavor.
