Drove all the way there (they're supposedly open 24 hours) and they're closed(?) okay.

Well, it's not just this location, it's the corporate dissolution of take out tacos from Taco Bell…read more Today's order was 5 taco supreme and 1 burrito supreme The tacos were loosely wrapped of course and food was failing out into bag on the way home. All but the ground meat filling which amounted to about a teaspoon in each taco Ordered inside and saw a menu riddled with bacon and potatoes where Mexican takeout used to be. It's cheaper to double wrap the tacos with a tricked up tortilla or make the item have potatoes of some kind. I get it. Beef is more expensive these days. Look, improve the content and assembly of the food and price it competitively or just CLOSE UP. IM DONE WITH THE BELL FOR GOOD. also... I've seen promo videos showing test kitchens at Taco Bell Corporate. All kinds of new recipes being tested and added to the menu. Adding a wasabi smoothie isn't the reason people trade there. Quality and value for the traditional items will bring people back- just not me.

Now that this Taco Bell location has been open a while, that's clearly in the rear view mirror! So what's up? -- Well, I typically use the drive-thru lane here. When they opened, they would ask your name so that when you got to the first window to pay, they knew if they had the right order. This last visit, they tried to charge me for the guy behind me who is in the other lane because they stopped asking for names. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have just paid and ended up with the wrong order. Then they complain about not being able to hear customers--we can't hear them either--because they have some kind of equipment in back making a ton of noise at the drive-thru speakers. The second window where you pick up, your food is worse now too. They used to be all full of smiles, confirmed your food order, and handed it over with care. Now an arm just sticks out the window with a bag. I could probably suffer through the poor service if the food were good. But they've dropped the ball here, too. With today's order, my tacos were loaded in the bag upside down. So when I took my tacos from the bag, there was lettuce, tomato and cheese flying everywhere. Then when I unwrapped them, both tacos had been crushed, with taco shell everywhere. There's simply zero focus on customer experience here. It's likely they promoted people too fast without sufficient training. Then the scaffolding team just left. Disappointingly, this store will likely suffer an unsavory fate. It doesn't have to be this way!

First visit: We each…read moregot the chicken fingers with potato salad and a piece of toast and regular size Dr. Pepper ... price for each, over $13. We think that's WAY too high for a fast food order, but it might be justifiable if the order was exceptional. The chicken fingers were skinny and dry looking; they were mostly tender but didn't have any real punch when it came to taste. They have nowhere near the tender, juicy flavor of Raising Canes chicken tenders. The little cup of potato salad was about 3 bites worth, yikes. Why on earth doesn't Layne's serve sides like coleslaw at least?? The toast was, well, toast, no real buttery flavor. The Dr. Pepper was fine but the regular is not a big cup. The dipping sauce was flavorful. The girl at the drive-thru window was less than welcoming, no greeting like: Hi! How are you today? And there was no: "I hope you enjoy your meal and come back to see us!". Is it so much to ask that the person at a window greet people with a big smile and an attitude that makes them WANT to come back again?? Overall, not the best first impression. Will we return? Yes, to give it another try. But if it's basically the same as the first visit, we'll continue to give Raising Canes our business when we want good chicken dinner take-out.
