Great price point for the quality of food. I love all of Marty's restaurants. I ordered from door dash surprisingly enough for a before and after night shift meal and you really get your bang for you buck!! I knew I'd love his vaquero bowl because the southwest salad at Marty b's is still my top salad in the area, I'm biased. The power bowl was surprisingly delightful for how healthy it is and the turkey was seasoned great! Meal prep boy kibble approved but also tasty. Packaging is reheat able, no cheap styrofoam so that was a perk for to-go! I've been coming to Branded Bowls since they first opened, and it's been one of my regular spots ever since. I usually come about once a week and always order the Barbacoa bowl because it's normally so good. Unfortunately, today's bowl was just off. The barbacoa was extremely fatty--so much so that it was hard to eat and honestly made me gag a bit from the amount of fat in the meat. It was really disappointing because I've had so many great experiences here in the past. I'm hoping this was just a one-time issue, because I truly enjoy this place and would love to see the quality of the barbacoa go back to what it used to be. read more

The setup feels a lot like Chipotle--you walk up, order from someone making your food on the spot--but they do offer more options than Chipotle. Here's where the difference lies: the servings are larger, which would normally be a plus, but the pricing is outrageous. For three bowls and drinks, our total was $76--and they still prompted for a tip. The food itself was fine, but at those prices, it's hard to justify. Marty B must be awfully proud of this place to charge so much for what's essentially an unoriginal concept. Good food, but not good value. read more

Bowls were pretty good, Mexican rice and charro beans were the best part! Would have been happy if my whole bowl was charro beans and rice. Serving sizes were appropriate for the price and help justify the price difference between competitors. Quality of ingredients seemed better than competitors as well. I liked some of the salsas and sauces (jalapeno avocado salsa, crema, jalapeno ranch and chipotle sauce), but fire roasted salsa was bland lacking heat and salt. The steak was tender, but lacking in flavor and texture. Barbacoa texture was great, but has an apple flavor to it that overwhelms the other ingredients and did not do well with a mexican style bowl. Loaded Queso was good, but overpowered by barbacoa Apple flavor and chips were pretty bad, they reminded me of baked store bought chips that you get to be healthy, but ended up throwing away because they're not worth it. I'll definitely give this another try, maybe it was an off day or I didn't get the right combination. I want to like Branded Bowls and if the proteins get better it could be a 5/5. read more

Today I went in and ordered a bowl with steak. I frequently visit this location and have rarely had any problems. Today, I was given little to no meat, and this is not a complaint I often make. I was genuinely shocked at the small amount and couldn't believe the woman preparing my bowl would think it was an appropriate portion. I know this sounds over-the-top, but like I said, I would rarely complain about something like this, which shows just how little the portion was. I appreciate the quality of their food and understand that comes with a price, but $14 (excluding tax and top) for a bowl of quinoa and a few veggies is not worth it. Justin the General Manager is fantastic! I emailed to see what items are gluten free or available to make gf. He replied back right away and let me know EVERYTHING, except the shrimp is gf, and they even have a dedicated fryer for the shrimp!! We made our own bowls today and grabbed some chips and queso. Everything was delish! So much so that my husband says he wants to come back tonight and have everyone meet us here for his birthday! They have bowls you can just order, or you can build one anyway your heart desires. They have rice and beans or lettuce. A variety of delicious meats, and tons of toppers including their yummy guac! They also have fresh sliced jalapeños, bacon, and other toppings prepared that you may not see in the walk up so make sure you ask. Oh, and don't forget to try the jalapeño ranch!!! Big fan of all of Marty's restaurants so far and Branded Bowls did not disappoint. Just imagine a Texas version of a Chipotle that is just so much better quality ingredients and way more flavorful. Would definitely recommend the Vaquero Bowl. The rice and beans were awesome, the barbacoa was incredibly flavorful, and of course can never go wrong with queso. The serving size was also wonderful. Service and cleanliness were great too. Young staff who is very polite, no dirty tables, and even healthy drink options like Ollipop and Mountain Valley glass bottled water for those of us who care about those things! I will definitely be frequenting this location and judging by the constant flow of people, I think they will do well! read more

My wife and I ate here recently and really liked it a lot. I had the steak and she had the chicken, both were outstanding. I really like their charro beans and the avocado jalapeño sauce. Overall, really great taste. However $15 for a rice bowl that is 60% filled with rice and beans, and very little meat isn't ideal. I got half chicken half barbacoa, and it was less than a spoonful total of meat...why?. They need to reduce their bowl size, and increase their protein scoops for $15 to be justified. Also, the barbacoa had more fat than meat, which was no bueno. But the taste was 10/10. Just not worth the price for the amount and quality of protein. Also, cookies were not fresh or tasty. And why is there 8 different people needed on the assembly line to make each bowl? Not necessary imo Overall experience was 4.5/10. We are Marty b fans, so will try again in a few months once they've had more time to iron out some kinks. read more

Time and time again, this "better than Chipotle" restaurant is cooked and prepared to near perfection. I made a comment to a friend one time that the owners must be Christians because the food literally tastes like someone prayed while making it. It's that good. It turns out that the owners are Christians. Every ingredient is fresh; I particularly love the Brussels sprouts, corn cut straight from the cob, and the variety of sauces and salsas. The jalapeño ranch is so good! The pick up section is convenient, as there's a window that you can simply walk up to right behind the parking spots in order to get your takeout order. I think we found a new favorite bowl place! I built my own bowl and the chicken is far superior to the chicken at similar restaurants (Chipotle, Cava). I also had their chimichurri sauce on the side and it was delicious and has a kick to it. Hope to return soon but since we live far away, we hope a location in Alliance will open soon. This place is really a very good lunch spot. It's salads and bowls with a large variety of ingredients to choose from and they look really fresh. Have eaten there a couple of times and not disappointed. Service has been great. It's only been a week or two so obviously there is some new restaurant type things to sort out but staff seems to get through issues quickly and efficiently. The inside is nice and really clean. It could be much larger given traffic I've seen but to be honest the amount of traffic could also reflect a lack of local, healthy lunch options. It's been really busy both times I've been in but I've done take out and not dined in. Overall it's a very nice option in Argyle. New restaurant issues aside ( which by all indications will be short lived ) Branded Bowls is going to be a great addition to Argyle. read more
