Plenty of staff in the building (we counted 8) but since there are lots of windows you could literally see the staff standing around "working" at the speed of a snail, and having no sense of urgency. Fortunately, this time Whataburger came to the rescue. Being gluten intolerant and on a keto diet, I ordered a bunless mushroom Swiss burger with lettuce and tomato. What I got was AMAZINGLY satisfying. And, I didn't get a hassle about getting my burger on a takeout platter instead of on a bun! Two large burger patties, sauteed mushrooms and two slices of melted Swiss cheese, with a generous side of lettuce and tomatoes. A cup of sauce on the side completed the meal. After asking if I could get a biscuit for my now cold food after also not even having sweet tea, the lady told me to move up in the line only to have the rude manager come out 10 minutes later trying to debate over biscuit. They are a made to order burger, as they have been since their founding. They are 24/7, also they are there for you when you need them.
